We woke up Wednedsay with that dreaded morning feeling. You know the one. Today, I am leaving my Disney bubble and heading back home. Back to reality. Back to laundry and housekeeping and bills and school and work and blah. blah, blah.. No one wanted to even get outta bed that morning! I thought now would be a good time to spring our return trip on them. Nothing makes the departure day easier than starting a new countdown for a trip! The kids, well, they could hardly contain themselves. They were oh-so-psyched to be trying out the AKL! Paul, well, he sort of mumbled and muttered something unintelligible but we just ignored him and happily chatted about the details. You see, I adore DH but he is always moaning and groaning about our trips to Disney. That is, until he gets there….then it is all “This was such a great idea; I am so glad I thought of it!” That being the case, we know to expect this reaction from him and just ignore it cause….the kids and I, we know better!

As usual, we had an early afternoon flight home. I know many of you like to grab later flights and squeeze in some park time before heading out. Me, I see that as rubbing salt on the wound. I prefer to just get up and go back home. That being the case, breakfast was calling and Paul and Andrew had a date with some Tonga Toast so they headed over to Captain Cooks. Izzy and I went to the lounge for the last time, picked up our breakfast, and said goodbye to our favorite concierge CM, Lauretta. Once in the room, I ate and finished packing while Izzy ate and played around. The boys came back an hour later or so and we called for bell services to pick up our luggage to ship home. Then, it was down to the lobby for some last minute goodbyes. My in-laws met us shortly thereafter; we picked up the car from valet and started on our way.

In the words of my esteemed PP pal, mattnkatsmum….THE END.

Alright….since you are all clamoring….I will add a wrap-up, too!

danielle

Mmm. Paul and Andrew had the right idea! Tonga toast is a great last meal at WDW. I think you chose the perfect time to let the kids in on the surprise! Looking forward to your final thoughts!

There is no better way to beat the "I'm leaving Disney World" blues than to spring the news of the next trip on the family!

Looking forward to your final thoughts about this incredible trip!
