| So, I had decided to take the plunge into the world of Magic Kingdom monorail resorts, but which one would I choose? It was actually a very easy choice for me to make, and I was lucky that there were still rooms available. The reason the choice was so easy? I had stayed at the Contemporary in 1980, and as an adult, the style does not appeal to me at all. I had visited the Grand Floridian during my last trip to do the Photopass photo session, and I have to admit that I cannot see my kids running around the lobby of that gorgeous place! So what did that leave? Well, the Polynesian, of course! The girls and I had been there when we dined at Ohana last trip. At the time, it didn't make me say, “Oh, I have to stay here one day!” but I think that’s because I never imagined that we would ever get a chance to stay at the Polynesian. In fact, this is probably the only chance we’ll ever have, since Kate will turn 3 this summer, so no more “five plus one under three in a crib” for us! The Poly has some of the biggest rooms on property, which is really going to be a plus for us! The more I thought about the six of us (plus Christian’s chair) in the 314 square feet of a POR room, the happier I was that I’d made the switch! Now that the decision was made, I emailed my TA, and expected her to get right back to me as she usually does. I did not know at the time that she had been traveling, and wouldn’t be getting back to me until the next day! This was a very anxious twenty-four hours! I was so worried that the rooms I had seen as available on the Disney website would be taken before my TA had a chance to snap one up for us! ![]()

I've got my "crafty" portion of my pre-trip coming up, so there'll be more scrapbook pages on the way! We'll be taking DH, DS and DD2 to the P & P Party for the first time this year; I can't wait for us all to enjoy it together!

| I am so excited that you are staying at the Poly! We changed our Sept/Oct trip from CBR to Poly. I can't to read your trip report when you come home. Our trip will probably be a once in a lifetime or a once in a great while.

| Beth... I just caught up with your last three posts...guess it was a good thing that I got three in one becuase the anticipation would have killed me...(I knew an upgrade on your resort plans were in your surprise somewhere Your ADR's look great and I am glad that you found a way to utilize the extra credits (while I think that if you dealt with Disney directly they probably would have adjusted it for you) I think this was meant to be instead...those breaks will come in so handy with the four kids. You plans sound great...relaxing, some breaks in-between but your resort change is such a wonderful surprise...the Poly is my ulitmate dream and I am so glad that your family will get to spend your trip there (already I am so excited for your TR - but I must digress, I don't want to rush your trip - ok maybe rush for you tp get there but then for your trip to go nice and slow). So glad that your brother is home safe and sound and that you will all get to spend time together at WDW...I think that will make this trip even more special then it already is.... |

| Oh yay, the Poly! Glad I missed your update 2 days ago, so I could get right to the suprise with out waiting a day! I'm sure it will be so worth the extra money for you being on the monorail line and not having to worry so much about transportation issues. Plus, it is such a gorgeous resort. I'm so happy for you!
