| This is a little late, but I just back-tracked from the TR to the pre-TR (whew!) and am now caught up. I just HAD to show my girls the shirts you have made (which are absolutely awesome, by the way) and see what their reaction was (hoping maybe they'd want to know why WE didn't have cool shirts like that when we went to WDW.) And of course, since we homeschool too, I showed them the World Showcase Passports you worked on. Great idea! Before we went last fall, we did a WDW project. Each girl got a map of the Magic Kingdom - the goal was to choose their top three attractions, decide which attractions to visit in what order, write down detailed directions of how to get from the entrance to their attractions and then finally to meet at Cosmic Rays' for lunch (they had $15.00 to spend and had to make choices from the menu and make sure they had $$ left for souveniers!) So we got in map reading, directions, writing, math and decision-making skills all in one fell swoop! (I think they're thinking I'm going to make them do a WS Passport like your girls, now!) Thanks for sharing your planning stage - it always helps to see how everything comes together. |

I had my girls complete journals when we got home. I found the pages on www.themouseforless.com and they worked really well. Rose did one after the last trip, and it was fun to compare that one with this year's journal. I got a lot of complaints from Grace, as she doesn't enjoy writing very much, but we'll both appreciate her efforts in the future when we look back at her first-grade thoughts and handwriting!

| Beth, thanks for sharing the Pooh video- this is one of my "must sees" for our upcoming trip! As for your singing; unfortunately the sound is broke on my computer so I only got to see the video.
