| Whirlwind Flower & Garden Trip: 4/27-4/30 Hi...we just got back late Wednesday from our trip to WDW. Stayed at our new timeshare at Bonnet Creek and really had a GREAT time. Meals we had this trip in order of enjoyment: #1 Brown Derby - cobb salad/halibut #2 Le Cellier - chicken chipotle sausage on polenta, watermelon soup & grilled salmon blts #3 Jiko - cucumber watermelon salad, ostrich with slaw, kalamata olive flatrbead #4 Tusker House - unbelievable buffet - so delicious - luv the Vegetable samosas #5 Chefs de France - salad & french onion soup & pinot blanc #6 Kona Cafe - Tonga Toast, Eggs and Sausage - yummy pineapple #7 Casey's - Hot Dog with Kraut and Fries finished off with an ice cream cone Best snack - Kakigori Japanese Shaved Ice Dessert - Rainbow flavor Epcot:I finally got to hear Off Kilter and LOVED them! People watching was a lot of fun from our terrace table at the Brown Derby! Had two rides on Soarin'--love the queue music! Living with the Land was awesome - some lovely beets and bananas. Our interactive Spaceship Earth ride seemed much too fast - and there was no time to ride again. Can't get over Turtle Talk with Crush - just a very magical Disney imaginative experience! In addition to the model railroad in Germany they had a model railroad set up inside the Wonders of Life pavilion where they also had a garden library, shop and cafe. It was so great and even had a sky lift in the diorama. Hollywood Studios: Happened upon the World Cheerleading Competition held at the Indiana Jones theatre. This was so fantastic! What a bonus to get to see this in person. Awesome gymnastics and choreography from groups as far away as China and Chile. Long lines at Mermaid and Great Movie Ride. Animal Kingdom: Took two safaris; incredible views of white rhinos; too cool for Kali River Rapids; the rice krispie treats at Kusafiri Bakery are still awesome! Magic Kingdom: Took on the sites Monday evening. Skipped the parade and fireworks to ride the attraction. Mickey's Philharmagic was our fave this time! What a great 3-D experience. The lines were too long at Peter Pan even up until closing :-/. Took a spin on the teacups minus the music. Not sure what was up with that and didn't take time to ask. Auntie Gravity's ice cream was refreshing. Can't wait to go back! Great short trip!
