The pictures were great...the girls look like they are in heaven and the smile on Christian's face is priceless

So glad the girls got to finally get their visit with Snow White...I have never been a huge Snow White fan either (I love the movie I really do but that high pitched voice did seem to creep up on me after the 20th or so time we watched the movie) but we also experienced such a wonderful visit with her on our last trip...

That Kate just gets me everytime! The on my face is about as big as hers!

Glad that the girls finally got to see Snow White (she is actually Maddie's favorite). Don't you love how they won't forget the one little time that you make a mistake!

I think that Christian is a bit smitten by her too!

My plan was to get as much of Fantasyland done as we could between 9 and 10 o’clock, then head to Frontierland and Adventureland before our lunch break at the Polynesian. Dumbo was first on our list, but the line was already showing a 30 minute wait, since our breakfast had taken a little longer than I’d planned. At that point, we should have turned around and headed for the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, but I got a little mixed up, so we went to Peter Pan instead. I was so discombobulated, we walked right up to the “handicapped” entrance, forgetting that I wasn’t planning on taking Christian on this ride. (There’s no way to slow down the moving sidewalk like there is on other attractions, so getting him on this one would be too difficult; plus, there are no accessible pirate ships,so we would have to take him out of his chair.) I sent Rick and the girls on the attraction, which left me some time to walk Christian around Fantasyland.

First, I turned around and took a photo of one of my favorites:

Then, we walked down toward the stroller parking area to the left of Small World.

We talked with a CM there who we would see later on at iasw.

Next, we headed back to PP, and since I could still see my family waiting in the queue, I knew we had a little more time, so we kept walking.

Apparently, Christian is a magnet for sweet, caring CMs. When we were down near Winnie the Pooh, a man named Eduardo came right up to Christian and started talking with him. He was funny; he had a really thick New Yawk accent, and told us all about how he used to work with special needs kids for the Special Olympics, and he could be around these special kids "24-7." He got right down on Christian's level, and talked to him about all the stickers on his wheelchair tray.

I told him that Christian gets the stickers when he takes the attendance down to the office at school. Christian is very proud of this assignment, and always smiles when I mention it to people.

It was another really memorable interaction, and I remembered to give him a CM thank you card this time.

At this point, Rick and the girls were finished with PP, and met up with us while we were talking with Eduardo.

We said good-bye to Eduardo, thanking him for his kindness, and headed off to our appointment with a hunny pot. The stand-by time was already 20 minutes long, but we learned something important about riding this attraction with a wheelchair bound companion: you go to a special entrance, wait for the accessible hunny pot to arrive, and get right on! I took Christian, and the girls went with their dad, since there is only one seat in the accessible hunny pot.

At the end of our first adventure, they asked us if we wanted to ride it again, so off we went a second time! Since there was no one either ahead of us or behind us, I took some photos with my flash on.

Here is Christian's reaction:

Looks like you and Christian had a great time with Eduardo while DH and the girls flew over London.
Love the reaction from Christian! Typical teenage reaction to Pooh.
(and my reaction to Pooh ever since he replaced Mr. Toad )

Actually, he's smiling. I guess I should have clarified; he has very little tongue control, so his tongue is out a lot of the time. You can actually see the smile more in his eyes...

After our two trips with Pooh, it was off to the carousel! There was absolutely no wait for it. Rose got to ride Cinderella’s horse, which made Grace very sad. While Christian and I watched the girls ride, I talked with a man who was watching his son ride the carousel; the son was about Christian’s age and didn’t seem all that excited about being on the carousel! The man said his wife and daughter were riding, as well, and he told me they had wanted to find Cindy’s horse but didn’t know which one it was. I described it for him, and then pointed it out (it’s on the second row in, with a golden ribbon on its tail and purple flowers on its mane; there will be a picture of Grace riding it during the P & P party later on in the TR.)

There's Daddy and Kate! So easy to spot in their yellow shirts!

See Rose's yellow shirt? See the golden ribbon on her horse's tail?

We had skipped It’s a Small World earlier, so it was time for our trip around the world. This is one of our family’s favorite rides; we love the music and all the colorful singing dolls. It was my little brother’s favorite ride when he was 3 and it probably drove my mom crazy when that was all he would ride (he didn’t like rides that went around!) but we ride it multiple times each trip. This is one of the accessible rides in Fantasyland; you get to enter through the exit ramp, which takes you right down to the platform to wait for the accessible boat. The wait is never long here, so we were riding and singing very shortly. I didn't take any photos, because I just wanted to enjoy the ride with my family (plus it is really hard to get good photos in here without using the flash!)

We called my MIL while we rode, leaving a message with the small world song playing in the background. She loves this ride as much as we do! Apparently, when she and FIL heard the message, she said to him, “We should have been there…” This is good news for us, since it means we’ll all be going again…hopefully sooner rather than later! Right after I hung up, I got a call from my brother. They had arrived at the MK, and were on their way to Toon Town. We had done almost everything we had wanted to do in Fantasyland, so we made plans to meet up in TT shortly!

Up next: riding Kate's rollercoaster!
