| That Grand Marnier drink looks better and better each time I see it. Are the alcoholic FBs strong? I'm really tempted to partake in a few but normally don't drink when I'm out with Andrew by myself. Maybe I should just get an in room babysitter and go on a splurge.

| Final Thoughts and Ramblings ![]() Although it was a short trip, it was certainly sweet. I don’t think I’d be able to take such a short trip without another one planned, and soon. But at the same time, it was delightful to take a quick weekend trip and just do whatever, whenever. I often found myself thinking “if I were home right now, I’d be doing laundry ” I really enjoyed the spontaneity as a change of pace. This could be dangerous. I’ve always ruled out weekends trip before, but now… The Firsts: For such a short trip, I still managed to get in a few firsts. First time walking to DHS First time attending an AP preview First time riding TSMM First time dining at ESPN Club Transportation: Southwest Airlines – I’m as pleased as ever with my SWA experience. I also love the new gate areas. Disney’s Magical Express – Even though it annoyed me a bit that my deluxe resort was the last stop, I have no real complaints with DME. Resort Transportation – I absolutely love being able to walk or boat to two parks from the Epcot resorts. The Friendship is a pleasant way to travel and I guess my timing was good because I only needed to actually wait once or twice, and even then it wasn’t more than 10 minutes. However, I think the bus transportation needs improvement. Luckily this trip I only needed to catch a bus once, but I still waited 25 minutes, which is longer than I usually wait anywhere else. The Beach Club: I really love the Beach Club. It’s lovely, the rooms are very nice and the location can’t be beat. And then of course there’s Stormalong Bay. So much fun! I really enjoy the BC and probably would call it my second (or at least tied for second) favorite. The Food: Since this was a quick trip, I didn’t make any ADRs. But I was able to join Lesley and Terri for theirs, and I just walked up at the ESPN Club. It was nice having a table service to begin and end my trip, with counter service filling the rest. Spoodles – This was my first breakfast as Spoodles and I enjoyed it. The pancakes were yummy (but huge – and there were 3 of them). I requested crispy bacon and it was cooked perfectly, so that goes a long way with me. I am considering squeezing a trip to Spoodles into the trip with my DM later this year. The ESPN Club – Fine dining, it isn’t, but the atmosphere is fun for sports fans and the food is good. Too bad the game I wanted to see was rained out. ![]() Disney Dining Experience – I only paid for one meal, so there wasn’t a big savings, but every dollar counts, right? Spoodles: (Lesley paid) ![]() ESPN Club: $5.35 That brings my year-to-date total to $125.70. I’ll be able to use the card on one more trip before it expires in July. The Parks: It was actually a good time to visit, because the parks were not busy at all. The only attraction with a long line was, of course, the new Toy Story Midway Mania. It was a lot of fun to be able to get a sneak peek at the attraction, and it’s really one that everyone will love. TSMM is a home run! ![]() Everything else had manageable lines (or FastPass). It was really hot, but because I took a break by the pool in the middle of the day, it wasn’t too bad. And now I guess I’m prepared for my next trip! So that’s that. Thanks as always for reading along and especially for all the wonderful comments. Up Next: Crazy Lady Trio 3: Tales from the Dark Side (Coming Soon to a PassPorter Board Near You)

| What a great ending, but I'm so sad that it's over. I find that I really enjoy a your trip reports. Ah well, I only have to wait another week or so before a new one starts and that one gets the added benefit of the CLT. ![]() Thanks so much for sharing.
