We caught a bus to Epcot... There was a fair number of people waiting to get on and usually we always go to the back to sit. So that's what we did this time.... Andy and I went to the back while Kevin and Lori decided to sit up front......

I pointed them out....can you see?
On the way to Epcot Kevin called Andy's cellphone and started being his normal silly self asking him where he was and where was he going and "Oh yeah, we're going there too, maybe we'll see you there" and such. When he hung up Andy commented that was Kevin's way of trying to break the ice again. When we got to Epcot he called again to ask if we were getting off the bus... That's Kevin.... he's great and funny and we love him, when he's not being a butthead b/c of his wife...

Anyway, we get in and everybody wanted to try and ride Test Track really quick b/c Kevin and Lori had been give a FP that was good until like Monday for some reason the other night when they came to the EMH. We only had about an hour before we needed to check in for our ADR in Germany and the FP line was looking long. We stood around for a minute trying to decide who would ride. It was obvious that either Andy or I was gonna have to stay. Andy said he would but I felt really bad about it and wanted him to be able to ride...... But none of it mattered b/c the FP line was as long as the Standby line b/c the ride had shut down for a bit. We knew we didn't have time to wait and that we'd come back later b/c it was another EMH night tonight. Andy and I suggested that we walk through the butterfly house and then head on back towards Germany. BUT, Lori was adamant that the "munchkin" wanted to ride Nemo again. We tried to talk to them about the fact that Nemo was on the complete opposite end of Future World and then they'd have to make it all the way from the front of the park to the back of the park to get to Germany in time and we had like 45 minutes now before our ADR time. She wouldn't let it go so we said we'd meet them there and NOT to be late b/c they wouldn't seat us without our entire party there. We had reached our point of "fine go do what you want and we'll do what we want".

So while they went to try to ride Nemo we walked through the Butterfly House....

We headed on around towards the WS taking it easy to look at all the F&GF stuff...

When we got to Germany they weren't there of course so Andy called them to see if they were on their way. I think they were in the process of being on their way. They weren't able to ride Nemo b/c the line was too long (surprise surprise...when you only give yourself 20 minutes at the most to ride a ride it's probably not going to happen). I tried to check in but they wouldn't check us in until our entire party was there. Andy called them again and told them to hurry it up.

Finally they made it over and we checked in. We didn't have to wait too long before we were seated. And what a seat! This was our view...

We were right beside the dance floor and right in front of the water wheel. The band started playing not too long after we sat down which was cool. We immediately ordered drinks

I guess we all really needed one....... well all of us except Lori. She didn't have anything the whole trip. I don't know who stuck a stick in her rear, but somebody did....
When the band opened up the dance floor the dancing queen at our table was the first one out there....
These pictures I think are HILARIOUS! She cracked me up!

I call this next one Andy's before picture.... you'll see it again later....

"eins, zwei, drei, vier, ZIGGY ZOGGY ZIGGY ZOGGY OY OY OY!" Man we love this place!

We fixed our plates and stuffed ourselves while enjoying more music....

And the dancing queen enjoyed more time on the dance floor...

As did these dancing queens....

When Audrey went back on the dance floor she made a little friend.

Little fellow with the Minnie Mouse ears on chased her all over the dance floor. Way to go Audrey! Already playing hard to get

We were there for at least an hour and a half I think.... and the liter of beer was getting to the boys......
Remember that before picture??

BEFORE

AFTER

It was getting close to time for Illuminations so we settled up and headed outside. We grabbed a spot right outside Germany. Audrey wanted to give watching the fireworks a try.....
Coming up...was she successful????

I am glad " the talk" seemed to help Kevin's behavior.
We have taken family and friends and we'll never do it again. We would meet them, but not try to plan things to do together. It always ends up in us being miserable.
Can't wait for more.

Glad dinner went a lot smoothier. Audrey looked great on the floor and she looks so cute with the little boy dancing. How sweet is that.

Audrey's really getting down on that dance floor! Can't wait to hear more! (Oh, and I can totally relate to people EXPECTING you to watch their kids, that reminds me of one more reason not to invite people with me on vacation )

I"m glad dinner turned out to be a real entertaining event!! Audrey looks so cute.
I actually feel for the little girl. She has you and Andy to help her enjoy her vacation, but she has parents that seem to want to do things just for themselves. IMHO
Oh well - can't wait to read more of this adventure!!!

Dinner looked like a great time...it would have been better had Kevin and Lori just listened to you without trying to catch the ride and walking twice as much and also not making you wait but...some people just need to learn things on their own, which is fine and dandy when they are not holding other people up...

You definitely deserve this Memorial Trip after what you went through...but I am so glad Audrey was having such a great time.
