Melissa - what pins did you buy to trade with? How many did you get? I am thinking about getting a lanyard for myself for our Nov. trip. DS (6) has a pin lanyard however he doesn't do much trading - he does a lot of buying, well I do the buying! I can't imagine him trading one of the $10, $12 pins. He made one trade when we were there last Oct. He traded a pin he got for $1 from the pin store with a cast member for a pirate pin.
DH and I are planning to do an EEMH at MK this Nov. and we are going to try to stay out till at least 1am! However, DS will be asleep at WL where we will hopefully get our request of adjoining rooms with my parents!

Well, I splurged and bought that tangram set at the POFQ gift shop. It was $30 and there were 7 pins inside. I kept the one Stitch pin and traded the other 6. For this upcoming trip I found a seller on ebay and bought a set of 10 random Disney pins and I think I won for around $12 or so. They came in the mail the other day, one was a LE Stitch pin so I'm keeping it... and all but 2 are CM pins, so I'm trading those

I have that on my DVR... I'll have to go home and watch it again to see who you're talking about, but I'm 99% positive it wasn't us, although I wish it was

So we're up to Saturday, the last full day at Disney
We had left this as a "do what you want" day in the planning anyway, so that's what we did.

I don't remember exactly what time we got up, but I know it was before 10am. We got dressed and walked down to the foodcourt to get some beignets. The plan was to take it easy, eat a nice relaxing breakfast then head to Epcot around lunchtime and stay all day. When we went to pay for the beignets all plans of a relaxing morning went out the window for awhile. Andy kept searching his wallet for our DDE card and it was nowhere to be found. So we just paid and went outside and searched his wallet again. Still not there. It didn't just magically appear during the walk from inside the foodcourt till outside..... So we searched the room, not there.... Finally I gave up and went to the front desk to see if they could help us out. Two things.... first I wanted to know if they could help find it and second..if we couldn't find it can it be replaced? The only thing we could figure was that Andy never picked it up off the table last night at the Crystal Palace.

A nice man behind the counter helped me out...he called a bunch of people but never really got an answer... We headed back to the room to look some more and figure out what we should do. We heard back from the front desk that we should go to lost and found which is at the TTC. They said they had a bunch and we'd have to go find ours. So, frustrated, I got ready and went to the TTC. I was already fuming inside that we were having to waste our last full day on a goose hunt for this stupid dang blasted DDE card. But I couldn't stand the thought of the money we spent on it being wasted before it was even earned back. So we go into lost and found and they were no help. Apparently the only cards they had were room keys with dining plan info on them. No DDE cards. So I tried calling the Crystal Palace and finally got through to someone....no luck there....they transferred me to the Town Hall and nobody ever answered. I kept calling and nobody would answer. So we walked to the monorail to just go over to the MK to see if it was there. By now I was just seeing red and wasn't thinking about anything but the fact that I was upset we lost the stupid thing, upset with Andy.....actually flat out mad at him, for losing it, and upset that we were wasting our last full day running around WDW trying to find it. I finally just lost it and blew up and Andy and said screw it, we'll just pay to have it replaced....which was $25.....so now instead of getting the DDE card in Dec. for $65 bucks like we did....it was now costing $90....and when you look at the $25 we had to pay to get another one we were spending what we'd saved on this trip using it. I just get all miffed again thinking about it....

SO moving on. I had my little fit and we didn't speak to each other at all on the monorail ride to Epcot. I'm sure our ride companions were loving the tension filling up the car......

When we got to Epcot Andy went to the Guest Relations and went through the process of having it replaced. I waited outside for him and cooled off. It was just like this was the straw that broke the camels back. I had had enough of everyone this week and here, on our last day, I was devastated that things were going so bad. You're not supposed to be sad at Disney and I was......

The nice CM at Guest Relations gave us a special FP for Soarin that was good immediately, so Andy suggested that we use it and start having some fun again. So we did.

After Soarin' I started feeling a little better and decided it wasn't worth being all down and ruining the rest of the day. We walked over to the WS to have lunch. On the way we saw Chip and Dale, all by themselves as usual. I talked to Dale....

We were pointing at Chip and I was telling him that he couldn't tell Chip....but Dale was my favorite Which he is

Shhhh, don't tell Chip!

After sharing secrets with Dale we headed into France to eat lunch at Boulangerie Patisserie.
Andy took this HORRIBLE picture of me..... I call it my "Bigfoot" picture...

We absolutely LOVE the ham and cheese croissants at BP
We got in the line that had a CM in training and bless her heart, she was having a hard time with the people in front of us b/c they were making using the DDP a complicated mess. I think we stood there for at least 10 minutes. I just wanted to cram my croissant in my face right there in line....but I refrained.... The French think we're bad enough as it is.....don't need to give them concrete proof....

So I waited till we sat down in the shop out back...

I also enjoyed the lemon tart..... verrry tasty!

On the way out of France back into the UK Andy decided to work on his art skills...

In the UK we ran into Mary Poppins. I don't think we've ever had our picture with Ms. Poppins before. She said something to Andy about his Beatles tshirt....so he decided to show her his body art...

Did Ms. Poppins approve?? Not sure.... but she did ask if we were going to catch the BI. Well duh Mary.... that's why we're here in the UK....
Andy also told her that he heard her musical was doing really well on Broadway
Then we got a pic together...

So we grabbed a beer and headed over to the catch the first BI show of the day.....

After the show we headed out the same way the guys go as we were heading to Japan. Andy took what he called his "British Invasion Paparazzi Photos"...

I love that Andy's a dork like me I also commented that it was a crock they didn't have seperate doors (all a different color) like they did in Help!

We walked over to Japan to just walk around and relax. I took a bunch of photos...

The drummers were out...

We walked through the shop.... this fellow gave me the stink eye so I had to judo chop him...

One last photo from Japan...

Andy and I are convinced this tree is a small scale version of the tree that Kate hid in on the island on the first episode of Lost......

We walked back over to the UK to catch the next BI show. Of course we had to stop and get another beer....

We obviously were goofing off during the show. I guess the beer and the heat were getting to us

I forgot to mention that a couple days earlier I had started having this wicked cough. Nothing else was wrong...no sneezing, no stuffy nose, not feeling bad, just a cough. Which Miss Audrey had been hacking all week, of course not covering her mouth b/c they never actually showed or made her. Just would say "Cover your mouth" and that's it....... By our MK EMH night my voice was pretty much gone.... And today it was starting to go again. We had planned on doing the tea tour so we signed up earlier in the day.... Our time was right after this BI show, so we headed over for that.

The tour was really neat. I could have listened to that girl read the phone book....She was from Edinburgh. I learned that all tea comes from one plant and then is flavored from the different other plants. After the tour was over we were all given a sample of tea. I decided to have some to see if it would help soothe my throat b/c I was really losing my voice big time...

Coming up: Meeting some friends and our last night at Epcot...
