| Just caught up!!! Great report. About your rant on your friends, I have always thought about going to WDW with another couple and their kids. I think you have to go with people that know you very well and you know them. They have to be able to put up with your crap as much as you have to put up with theirs. LOL You know EVERYONE has some kind of Pet Peave, right? I think I would have planned at least 1 day apart. On our next trip, we had planned on going with some friends of ours and their two boys, but they have decided to go in Aug instead of December like us. We may still meet my wife's family there since they are from Tallahassee. Anyway, I love the pictures and I think you guys are very nice to put up "inexperienced" Disney park visitors. |

| Wow, they really were being pains in the ... patooties. Glad Andy had a talk with Kevin, and I'm even more glad that it seemed to straighten them out a bit (I hope it lasts!). Biergarten looks like it was loads of fun. Can I tell you, Audrey's dancing put the biggest smile on my face. That girl can boogie! Hope Audrey likes Illuminations.

| Um.... Sharon.... I've been meaning to have a talk with you about YOUR behavior. Melissa, you and Andy have been so patient. I'm glad the topic has finally been breached with Kevin and that things either improve from here or that you all split up more of your time. Love the Beirgarten meal -- love Audrey's face in the picture with the beers! ![]() More, more, more! Eileen

And, just so y'all know..... I mentioned earlier that they're planning another trip. I thought it was for next Sept. Well they are still planning on that but Kevin called Andy yesterday and told him they were planning on this Sept. too. Andy told him "You know we've already booked everything, room and meals, for our August trip and we booked it a few months ago" and Kevin was like "yeah....I know". So when they call up and try to make ADRs (if they even know to do that) they're probably going to have a hard time seeing as it's free dining (which they don't know about either). Apparently Lori has been on ebay this week trying to figure out how to buy DVC points b/c I guess they really looked at the Poly and saw how much it was going to cost them to stay for a week. They'll be getting no help from us in their planning, that's for sure. I say let them live and learn.

| Marnie is absolutely right . . . When they go by themselves, that's when they will realize how much you were trying to help them when you went together. . . . But like you said, too, live and learn

| I am just surprised that you lasted as long as you did before calling them out on the carpet so to speak! I would have had to have a "Come to Jesus" Meetin' long before that so you are better than I am. Hopefully "THE TALK" truly had a positive impact on the rest of the trip. BTW, do they know anything about passporter? I would hate to see them read all about how they were being @$$3$! Of course maybe that would be a good thing as well.. Who knows...

| I agree that they need to try their own hand at planning. Then they could enjoy the things that they want to and have no one else to blame if it doesn't work out they way they want. Biergarten looks like loads of fun and I hope Audrey gets to see the fireworks!

| It sounds like you had a better evening (I'm sure the litre of bier probably helped!). I hope Audrey enjoys the fireworks.

| Whoa, I'm just dumbfounded by Lori and Kevin - the credit card, the "alone time" request, the migraine medication - ugh! It does sound like y'all are still savoring the good stuff, so kudos to you. Audrey dancing the night away is TOO. CUTE. Love it. Looking forward to more!

| Glad the talk with Kevin seemed to help matters a bit! You and Andy know how to still enjoy it all despite the headaches. Audrey is beyond adorable dancing at Biergarten!! She definitely looked like she was having a ball!!

| We were able to get a pretty decent spot against the railing in front of Germany for Illuminations. Audrey had seen the little fireworks that shoot off at the Castle for the show earlier in the trip and had decided she wanted to see fireworks. I wasn't really sure how well this was gonna go......these were some LOUD fireworks as we all know. But we settled in..... Kevin had Audrey on his shoulders ready to head off away from the show if need be.... ![]() First shot off....Audrey freaked I know it's not funny that she was scared....but I have to laugh looking back on it. They took her back away from the water back in the Germany pavilion I think. We enjoyed the rest of the show. ![]() After the show we regrouped and headed around to get our EMH bracelets. After some confusion as to where we could one we finally found a spot. There was some funny interaction between me and the guy putting my bracelet on....something to do with him having to fuss at some other people for not moving out of the area once they got their bracelet....but I can't remember what it was now...Maybe it'll come to me... Once we all had our bracelets we went into Mexico. Kevin and Lori needed a potty break so Andy and I walked around with Audrey.... I so couldn't pass up putting these hats on these two and taking a picture of it... ![]() Now Audrey's part of the stupid hat club. I think this may be one of my favorite pictures from this trip. After the potty break we caught a ride with the Three Caballeros. This is a horribly blurry picture but I had to share what Andy and I have always referred to as the audio animatronic that's doing the Beavis dance... ![]() I don't know why I think it's so funny....but I make that joke everytime! We headed back in to Future World. Kevin and Lori had also gotten a special FP for Soarin' the other night and wanted to use it. Since I can take or leave Soarin' I offered to take Audrey to ride Nemo while they rode Soarin'. I immediately set ground rules... She didn't want to hold my hand once out of the stroller so I got down on her level and told her that if she didn't want to hold my hand she had to promise not to run around ahead of me (that's what she does to Kevin and Lori). She goes "ookay" and stayed right with me. Of course she did all of a sudden go "Meissa" (She never puts the "L" in my name) "Meissa I want to show you something" and drags me over to the little photo op area with all the Nemo characters. I told her to go stand and I'd take her picture. I told her to say "cheeeeese" and buddy she did... ![]() This picture rivals the mexican hat picture as being my favorite ![]() We made our way through the line for Nemo. There was NO WAIT. Seriously, walked right on. Well, not right on. Miss Audrey insisted on walking herself and she doesn't exactly walk at a high rate of speed. And all the distractions didn't help. I let a family behind us go on around us cause I knew we'd be awhile Finally we made it up to our Clam Mobile. I was still nervous of her reaction to the big scary fish but Kevin said she was fine the other times she rode. The whole ride we talked to all the fish and waved at Nemo and I did my best to distract her during that scary fish part. I had tried to put my arm around her to just kind of hold her in the seat but she kept pushing it off But when the big scary fish popped out she kinda grabbed on a little bit. But I did my teacher thing and played it down. "Look at the ugly thing....we ain't scared of that thing, tell him 'whatever, we ain't scared of you'" and she did Needless to say we had fun.Once off the ride it was another "I want to show you something Meissa" and she drug me over to Bruce. We had to wait on a group of annoying teenage girls playing around being silly and well, teenage girls, taking pictures. Once they were done I picked her up and put her in his mouth. I threw her blanky out his mouth for an extra touch in the picture I was soooo afraid she'd fall out...me being by myself with her, but she was cool as mud...![]() When we walked out I tried calling Andy but no answer so I had to assume they were still on the ride. I made the executive decision to have some more fun with Audrey so we headed over to Character Chaos. I was just gonna check out the line until I spotted none other than my blue buddy in there!!! What the frig?!? When did he start making appearances there? Well of course that meant we were booking it in. We waited in line for a bit and then I heard from Andy. They met up with us in line. It wasn't so much Character Chaos this late at night, but I guess we waited about 10 or 15 minutes in line before the first character. I have PP pictures of us with all the characters but they're on the CD and Andy's drive is at work, so we'll post those later. Here's a few we did take... ![]() And don't forget about the Stitch progression..... ![]() Hands.... ![]() pins.... And what fabulous angles Andy got of me in these pictures I might add..... ![]() ![]() hugs... ![]() Then Audrey joined us.... ![]() ![]() After Character Chaos we walked over to Test Track to use that FP. Kevin Lori and I rode first and Lori told the CM that Andy was waiting with Audrey so she gave her a pass to give him. After the ride Andy and I rode. You HAVE to see our PP picture. We decided to be stupid.... I'll get to posting those later. I think Kevin rode Mission Space again.... I can't remember. After a smoking break we started to head out of the park. Closing time was fast approaching. We were back at POFQ resting comfortably before too long. Coming up: another morning at AK....and another just us with Kevin morning that went great.....until.........
