| I am glad you were able to ride EE! That going backwards really messes with my equilibrium. (but it doesn't stop me from riding! Your relaxation time at the pool sounds nice! I sure hope that there was less tension for your evening plans!

| I should say that while it sounds like Lori is being a grump about Disney it's not that they didn't like Disney. They just have this attitude of "me me me" and "gimme gimme gimme" and it was driving us NUTS! It's like they felt like someone should be giving them something every time they turned around. For example, when they went to that Epcot EMH that night after MGM, I can't remember if I put this in that part, so forgive me if I repeat myself....but they freaking called us at like midnight to tell us the story about them getting the child swap pass out front of Mission Space. And then a few days later (I haven't gotten this far) they called from the MK really late to tell us something else that they had gotten and then on our last day they called to tell us about something else that they had gotten. It wasn't like they just wanted to share b/c they were excited though....it came across like "look at us, look at what we got and you didn't" And as you'll see in an upcoming update or two I really got in to pin trading this trip. And b/c Kevin saw me doing something like that he started doing it. And while I was only looking for specific ones he just started trading for anything that was a CM pin and then would come over and show us... again "look at what I got and you didn't".... and then when he saw that I was getting certain ones (mainly the HM set of CM pins) he was looking specifically for those and would get one after I did and came across as "See I got one, too".... It was just weird to see him act like that and it really buggered on our nerves.... But trust me, in their defense, they loved Disney and are already planning trip back....WITHOUT US needless to say. But of course, they are planning on staying at the Poly.... These two, who had to live in her parents guest house for the first two years of their marriage (which Audrey was concieved out of...) are planning a trip to the Poly. We can't even afford to stay at the Poly for a long trip. And as soon as they got home they called to tell us their plan. And you know how they're doing it? They've been putting EVERYTHING (we think this past trip included) on Lori's credit card b/c her mom recently sold some land, which they brag about all the time, and told them that she would pay off one of their credit cards. I have a feeling ole mom doesn't know that they took that offer and ran with it. So those are all these reasons I got so irritated this trip. I was gonna bring up little things throughout the trip but really it was throughout so now you can see a little more of why we were annoyed by them.....but they'll be more little stories throughout and if I repeat something here just yell at me

| Zoiks - it sounds like you "hit the wall" with the willingness to hang with Lori and Kevin. I hope you can still have a good trip despite all of their shenanigans, Melissa! That's cool about pin trading. I'm looking forward to your adventures! Eileen

| I think every family has someone like Lori. In my family it is my SIL. She always wants what other people have, or better (if she can). It must be a miserable life to have to try to keep up with everyone else. How to they have time to enjoy life??

| So Melissa told me I needed to chime in on...THE TALK! (bum bum bum) Well, by this point in the trip I was really fed up. I had brushed everything off so far, trying not to read too deep into it but I just couldn't do it anymore. I remember we were getting ready to FP Everest and the time came to enter the line. Kevin looks at me and goes, "Well who's gonna stay with Audrey?" My flipping head almost exploded!!! I looked at him and said, "We're not, she's not our kid!" I wanted to follow it up with 'the bird' but I thought flipping someone off that is two feet in-front of you while standing outside the FP Everest line wouldn't have looked too good...but it would have felt good. And that's the vibe I got from them the whole trip, 'watch my child while I do what I want to do.' They expected all of Disney World and the Loflin's to bend over backwards so they could enjoy themselves. What they couldn't realize was that it was all in their hands, it was up to them to start enjoying the trip. And I want you to know that I love watching Audrey, she's like a daughter to me. I just don't like being expected to do something that is a personal favor. So I guess that's where the talk started. My favorite thing to do at Disney is to enjoy the resort, I love walking to the foodcourt to fill up the bottomless mug. So, as always, Kevin's a#$ was in the smoking area near the foodcourt so I took the alone time to speak my mind. I said, "Look, we need to talk." I pretty much said that their attitude was bringing us both down and that I wasn't going to waste my money and time on a vacation like this. I had had enough. I think he started to whine back about how I had agreed to watch Audrey while they went on rides, that just pissed me off. What a jerk. I told him I didn't mind but it shouldn't be expected, I'm not their babysitter. Sorry they couldn't bring their parents along for the trip but I wasn't going to play that part. So I cut the talk short by saying something like, look...if it means we go our separate ways for the rest of the trip then that's what it means, just stop being a jerk and all will be fine. I think it ended with a hug, I don't know.

| Andy just showed me his post.....and the whole "are you gonna watch my kid" thing reminded me.... I never said this before the trip in the Pre TR b/c I thought it was a one off thing.....but.... About a week before we left on the trip Kevin calls up and asks me if we wouldn't mind watching Audrey one night so he and Lori could do something. I figured he meant something like keeping her for the evening so they could have an evening to themselves. I said I didn't see that being too much of a problem but I wasn't really sure b/c we already had ADRs made and they'd have to change that...... So I hung up with him and talked to Andy about it and Andy goes "You do know that he probably didn't mean just for the evening" that with Kevin he bet he meant the whole night. I completely didn't believe that our friend would assume that we would take his child for a whole night on our vacation.....so when Kevin called back I made Andy talk to him. And sure enough...that's what he meant. He wanted he and Lori to have some "alone time" Now I'm off to do the next update. We'll try to keep the whining about Kevin and Lori to a minimum now
