Once we made it back to Africa from Rafiki’s we headed over towards Asia to use our EE FPs. I stopped b/c I wanted to get this picture of the statue matching the mountains…

I just think that sort of stuff is sooo cool!

When we got there the standby line was looooooong. Kevin tried to abuse the child swap thing by thinking he could ask the CM at the front of the FP line if he could have one b/c his wife was with his daughter and of course the CM said he’d have to ask for one at the loading area. I tried telling Kevin that they’re not just going to give you one and not make you wait in line to earn it. He argued that the other night at the Epcot EMH the CM outside Mission Space did that…. I tried to tell him that must have been b/c it was so late and they were just being nice….So when he was told that he’d have to go through the line by the CM at EE I had no shame in the I told you so moment… I said to him “THAT’S WHY we got the FPs when we first came in, so you didn’t have to wait in that longa$$ standby line…. (long pause)…you’re welcome!”

Andy, Lori, and I went first. When we got to the loading area Lori told the CM that her husband was outside with her little girl and they gave her a child swap FP. The ride was great as usual. Two moments on that ride that are the best….we live for those two moments… the first moment being right after you go backwards into the cave…the force pushing you down is the most awesome feeling! And the second is right after you start going forward again, down the hill around the curve before going back in the cave….that pressure on your shoulders is just crazy! it!

Now I have complained about Kevin abusing the child swap thing….he saw it as a free ride…a way to be above people waiting in line. I, however, saw nothing wrong with using the system for its purpose and using it to it’s fullest the correct way SO we made Kevin go through the FP line with his FP and tell them that his wife was outside with his daughter to get another child swap FP. I know I know…I’m a hypocrite….but I wasn’t trying to be sneaky like they were….

So when he came off Lori wanted to go so that she and Kevin could ride together so I rode with them while Andy waited with Audrey. As much as I love the ride I realized sitting beside a complete stranger how much more fun the ride is sitting by Andy. I know I know…I’m being all sappy…but I missed my ragging buddy. The complete stranger wouldn’t have gotten all my stupid jokes and commentary like Andy So I just rode quietly…. Nowhere near as fun….

For the second child swap FP we rode with Kevin which was more fun!

After our EE fun we headed over to Dinoland so Audrey could ride something since she waited so patiently for us. (I think she snuck in a quick nap). But first Andy and I sat with her outside EE so Kevin and Lori could go across to the bridge and smoke….

THEN we walked over to Dinoland.
First up was Triceratop Spin which was another first for us…





I tend to take A LOT of pictures on things that we do for the first time…

Audrey enjoyed the ride (as did we ) We made a stop at Chester and Hester’s…I can’t remember why though… I know Kevin was looking for a Darrel Cartrip car but they didn’t have one….
While we waited on them we played of course….

While they were in line Andy stuck his sunglasses on top of Audrey’s glasses….and the picture is even funnier b/c Audrey is resting her head on Pal Mickey so it looks like she’s wearing his hat

Andy kept aggravating her by putting his foot up on her stroller and she reach hers out and push it off. They did this atleast 10 times in a row….. That girl loves repetition.
On our way out of Dinoland I couldn’t let this pass by…


We were all getting VERY hungry so walked over to find Pizzafari. The line was out the door but they are very efficient over there. They hand out menus in line and then have a CM at front asking how many people and then directing you to a line to order in. We didn’t have to wait too long. Andy and I split a sandwich that was verrrry good and some breadsticks which were also good. Everyone else got pizza.

Anyway…it was here that Kevin really started acting weird…all grumpy and such. But we found out that Lori had been complaining again about her migraine issues. I forgot to mention in the other post that she takes some strong medication for her “migraines”. And that her doctor lets her take 2 at a time but she actually takes more……and she had run out. So I think his bad mood was partially due to this…
So we kind of ate in silence…well Andy and I goofed off of course….but not much else was done…
After lunch we figured we could all head back, especially since Lori’s head was hurting. But when we left Pizzafari they decided they were going to cross over into Africa b/c that was the closest smoking area and then do something else afterwards. Again, WHATEVER. We left. We just told them we’d meet them back at POFQ. We headed out of the park…but of course stopped to see if Stitch was out…but it was just Lilo. I stopped to get a few more pics of the tree…




And then we headed on out and caught a bus back to POFQ. When we got back we went down to the pool for awhile. It was warmer today but still the air just wasn’t warm enough for me to get in and then have to get out again…So I enjoyed my Orange Dreamsicle from the bar instead. The old man bartender was the same one from the day before and he had ragged us then about something….just being silly. Well today when Andy went to get the drinks he used my credit card so the old man bartender ragged on him and called him Melissa everytime He was even nice enough to pour the extra dreamsicle into a cup and give it to me. They didn’t do that at the WL last summer It was just enough that I didn’t need to go back and order seconds

We headed back up to the room after a bit and at some point found out Kevin and Lori were back. I think I sent Andy to get our mug refilled and he ran into Kevin smoking. Apparently Andy had a “talk” with Kevin about being a butthead. I’ll let him tell you what he said b/c I really don’t know……..
We all got ready and then headed out to Epcot..

Hummm, maybe Lori should consider quitting her smoking habit... migraines are caused by a blood-flow issue in the brain and we all know smoking causes BLOOD-FLOW issues! You are a far better woman than i, Melissa, I would have called her out on that! I'm truly sorry that these 2 are such downers, thank goodness you and Andy can still manage to have good time. BTW, those pictures of the Tree of Life are fabulous!
