| I prefer this site so much better. Another site has an "evil clone" and that site takes pleasure in ragging on members and that includes me because my wife and I both posted there. Well I'm done with that place! Back home where I belong! Andy, you and I are just rare breeds. Our wives should count their blessings daily for having us. ROFL Actually, you and Melissa sound a lot like me and Bethany. We're best friends too! I can't wait to hear more. I'm thinking about a basket myself to be ordered this time!

| So why did I call this “The Andy Can’t Keep a Secret to Save His Life” trip? Well, I have a very bad history with keeping secrets secret…well I guess more like surprises. I’m always the person who wants to open Christmas gifts the second they are wrapped. This is why we wait until December 23rd to wrap anything. I guess I’m a sucker for a void in a conversation, you know? There will be a few silent moments and before I know it I’ve spilled the beans. So what other surprises have I blown? Hmmm:
I’m sure there are many more that I can’t remember. Little things like the Stitch pin I bought this morning. I get them every once in a while from Disney shopping and tell myself I’m just going to let them arrive, but I always tell her. I think I told her about our hospitality Darlington race weekend two years ago, couldn’t keep that one either. There are just too many! So maybe one day I’ll be able to keep a secret, who knows…maybe I have something else up my sleeve? Maybe I’ll tell Melissa tonight over dinner during a pause in the conversation. Ahhhhh, it’s a never ending battle!

hang on now.... There's gotta be a reason you fellows do what you do.... I suppose it could be that us wives are just so great and you just love us so much (j/k I know I would be LOST without Andy around.... I'm very thankful to have him as my hubby!)

| My DH is the same way. He cracks me up because he will actually call me from the mall while Christmas shopping and say if I were going to get you this or that what size would I need to get. It must be a man thing! |

| I suck at secret keeping too. First I get that "I have to tell SOMEBODY!" feeling . . . then I get the guilty feeling like I really should just tell everyone instead. ![]() I've already told everyone that there will be no baby surprises . . . I'm finding out what it is and telling everyone because I can't keep a secret. ![]() That said . . . Mike wouldn't be able to keep a secret either. He's no good at it (Christmas is awful around here. I always know what I am getting at least a week before Christmas.) BUT I am also in charge of keeping track of money, so I would know when there was a chunk missing and would interrogate the crap out of him until he cracked.. ![]() And you guys are so stinkin' cute it makes me kinda want to smack Mike and ask him why we aren't so cute anymore. ![]() |

| We really are bad... we both have to wait and buy Christmas presents for each other like two days before Christmas b/c as soon as they're wrapped and under the tree we are chomping at the bit to give them to each other... I'm the same way with birthday presents. Bascially all gift shopping in our house is last minute for a reason ![]()

| It worked! I stomped up the stairs and point blank asked my husband why we couldn't be more like Andy and Melissa (to which he looked at me completely confused and asked, "Do I know them?") After some clarification, he agreed to a grown ups only trip to Disney next spring! Yay!! Thanks you two! I'll name that trip report "The Andy and Melissa wannabes trip" just so you'll get the credit you deserve. Just like all of your TRs, I'm looking forward to this one. Only a few days left to go!

| We've been together 15+ years. It has always been hard to keep anything secret from my DW... she handles the money. I stopped trying to keep secrets a looong time ago!

| Sorry you can't manage to keep a secret, Andy, but keep trying! Maybe you'll get better at it. And Melissa will keep getting fantastic surprises even if she knows about them ahead of time. It's win-win.
