| Day 2 (Liberty Square): When we entered Liberty Square, we quickly spotted the Haunted Mansion. The posted wait time was 20 minutes. So far this trip, I had been only entering lines with 15 minutes or less. But I had really been looking forward to this ride and decided we would just get in line. The kids, particuararly Dillon protested. He said I was breaking the unspoken family rule of not waiting in lines more than 15 minutes! LOL As we were in line, I soon realized why he was complaining about the time (He's not usually one to complain- Madilyn has that covered on her own)- I realized he was scared to ride and just didn't want to say it. The closer we got to riding, the more upset he got. I KNEW he would be fine so I insisted he ride. Madilyn and Wesley rode together and Dillon and I rode together. He got even more upset when we got on the buggy. I began talking to him about Hidden Mickeys and told him to try to see if he could find some in the Haunted Mansion. This did the trick. He completley calmed down and afterwards asked to ride it again proclaiming it to be one of his favorites! I k new he would be fine, otherwise I would not have insisted he ride. After Haunted Mansion, we walked over to the Liberty Square Riverboat. A boat had just pulled out. Rather than wait we headed over to The Hall of Presidents. We had quite the time getting there as the walkway was roped off and people were lining up for the parade. There were several "front row" spots available. But we needed airconditioning so we entered the Hall of Presidents. We were the only ones there and we were told it would be about 15 minutes before the next show. We had barely started looking around at the pictures and stuff when the parade started. So we stood in the aircondition and watched the parade. Well, me and the boys did. Madilyn sat on a bench and organized and reorganized her "fanny" over and over again. I actually thought this was a great spot for watching the parade. We could see it perfectly fine and we were out of the heat! The parade ended and swarms of people entered the Hall of Presidents. We walked over and stood by the doors. When they opened and we entered and I seen all that seating , I realized everyone could easily be seated. I found this to be a really nice break and we all enjoyed it. I was also really impressed at how well Dillon knew the presidents. When they began the part of naming each president and shining the light on them as they say their name. They were naming them in order and Dillon was able to speak the next one before they said it. I was impressed! He knew all of them and in the correct order. We then headed to the Liberty Riverboat and had good timing this time as a boat was unloading. We boarded quickly. The only problem was it was very hot! We had the option of sitting in the sun or standing in the shade. We opted to stand in the shade. I actually ended up just sitting on the ground against a beam. This worked well until the boat started moving and then I was sitting on the floor in the sun. I was too tired to move so I just maintained my spot. Luckily, as the boat turned, my shade came back. We all enjoyed the boat ride (we rode on the lower deck). I think this ride would have been nice after dark also. When the ride was over, we headed off for more fun!![]() Up Next: Adventureland.................

| Fun! We've been to Disney several times, and I hate to admit we've never done the riverboat. I don't know why... it seems we're always rushing off to do something else. Maybe next time! Glad the crew enjoyed Haunted Mansion... even Dillon!

| Sounds like a great day! Haunted Mansion is one of my favorites...glad you were able to talk Dillon into staying on the ride. For years my older DD(Amanda) wouldn't ride anything remotely 'thrill-ride-ish' even the HM...now she rides it all. So don't give up hope...one of days Dillon may suprise you ![]() Looking forward to more updates!

| Great updates!! Sounds like you're having a great time at the MK despite the heat and some minor problems with the crankiness. Too much heat will do that to you every time!! Can't wait to hear more Oh, and, yes this is Sleeping Beauty (aka Aurora) ![]()

| Day 2 (Adventureland & more): Once entering Adventureland , we immediately headed to Pirates of the Caribean! I knew this was the last day before it would be closed for refurbishment and I definately wanted to see it. I thought lots of people would have this idea and expected there to be a long line. I was very excited to see the line listed as only 5 minutes! And it wasn't even that long, we literally walked right on! I really enjoyed this ride and so did the kids. There were a few parts that they (Wesley) got a little scared, but all in all it was a great ride. In fact , we liked it so much and the line was so short that we rode it a second time! We then headed to Jungle Cruise. The line was posted at 30 minutes so we decided to get FastPasses for the first time ever! We went to the Fast Pass machine. When it shot out our FP's, they read invalid! The near by CM, asked if we already had FP's for something else. I told her no and that this was actually our first time EVER getting a FP. I then quickly realized I was making the same mistake as yesterday by entering our room keys instead of our actual tickets! Once I pulled out our tickets, we had no problem getting the FP's! While waiting for our return time, we rode Aladdin's Carpets. There was barely a line and the kids enjoyed it. We also went to the Tiki Room and I thought this show was pretty cute. We all three enjoyed it. I liked the way they end it. Our JC FP time was still not up and we had completed adventureland with the exception of the treehouse. I made a judgment call that it was too hot to climb all those steps and we'd save it for later. So we stopped for ice cream instead. I got a Mickey Bar, it was very yummy. Wesley and Madilyn got an itsakadoozie. And Dillon just got a sprite. We felt refreshed and we still had time to burn so we headed into Frontierland. Wesley had been dying to ride Splash Mountain. (thats right my thrill hating son had been raving about splash mountain all day, he was dying to get wet) We seen the ride and he still wanted to go.........until we spotted the hour long wait time. We decided to hit it up later. We headed to Big Thunder Mountain RailRoad. Wesley quickly proclaimed he didn't want to ride. The other two did want to ride but not without me. So I had Wesley wait in line with us (less than ten minutes) and when we boarded, he just walked across to the other side and waited at the exit. We all three really loved this one and after riding Dillon proclaimed he now wanted to ride ALL the roller coasters! We exited and I didnt' see Wesley. He has a cell phone that he had been carrying in his fanny pack in case we ever got seperated. But without thinking, I had given him my backpack to hold while we rode, so I didn't have a cell to call him. I called his name a few times and I quickly panicked because he is NOT the type of kid to wander off. He is very responsible (at the time he was a week shy of 11) and I felt very comfortable letting him wait for us. I spotted a CM and told her I could not find my son. She asked what he was wearing and I pointed to the other kids and said- a shirt exactly like this with black shorts. She walked off to look for him down the hill even though I assured her he would not have went there. So I headed back up the exit ramp and there was Wesley standing just where he was suppose to. Aparently there were two exits. He was standing in one and we had exited the other. He said- what took so long? I don't know what ever happened with the CM that took off heading down the hill, I guess she figured I found him? This was a very scary 5 minutes! We were all reunited and headed back to the Jungle Cruise since our FP time had finally came. Even with the FP there was still a little bit of a wait. It was SO hot waiting for the Jungle Cruise. We finally boarded our boat and the kids and I really enjoyed it! Next time, for a change of pace, I will try to see it at night! It was now past dinner time and we were all getting hungry. We only had a little over an hour before the park closed. (It was closing early tonight (7pm) due to the Pirate and Princess Party) I asked the kids if they wanted to eat dinner now or ride one or two more things and head for the hotel for dinner. They opted for a few more rides and dinner at pop. So we headed back into Fantasy land. We spotted Peter Pan and it still had a crazy long line so we kept moving. We then spotted Dumbo and it was listed with a 5 minute wait. I was surprised because I had heard that this ride always has a long line. We hoped in line and were boarded fairly quickly. This was a hit with the kids. We spotted Winnie The Pooh and it still had a really long line also. So we rode Snow White. The boys rode together and I rode with Madilyn. Madilyn and I really enjoyed it. But I could tell the boys were a little taken back, they didn't expect it to be spooky. I'm just glad they didn't freak! Madilyn asked to ride it again, but the boys did not want to and the whole missing Wesley after BTMRR was a little to fresh in my memory for us to seperate , so we moved on to the next thing. We spotted the tea cups. At the kids request , this was to be our last ride of the night. Wesley rode alone because he didn't want to spin much. Madilyn, Dillon, and I rode together. Dillon did most of the spinning. My only complaint was it was VERY difficult to get situated in the ride , my legs were too long and they were up against the spinning thing, it was a tight fit! I can't imagine someone much taller than me riding! While spinning, I spotted the Indy Speedway and noticed there was a very short line. I knew the kids had asked to ride this earlier, but the line was too long. So we opted for one more ride. Wesley and Dillon each drove their own car and I let Madilyn steer us around. The kids really enjoyed this one. Even if we had wanted to ride something else, we could not. It was officially after 7pm. They were making announcements that you could buy P&P tickets at guest relations. I asked the kids if they wanted to stay for the party. They all three gave me a quick NO. The were exhausted! (I still cant believe they declined my offer to stay for the party, what kind of kid does that?) Oh well, we were all tired and starving. We headed off to the buses. We didn't wait too long before boarding a pop century bus. Once back at the resort we went to the room first so the kids could get their refillable mugs. We also changed into our swimsuits because the kids had been asking to hit the pool. We ate dinner at pop's food court. All three kids had chicken nugget meals. It turns out they don't like the kids chicken nuggets, only the adult ones. (They are totally different) I told them to make due and that in the future, I would order only the adult ones. They reluctantly ate them. I had the sloppy joe and it was very yummy. We then headed to the pool for about 45 minutes, then it was back to the room for showers and bed. **I guess I was getting real tired because the only pic I took the last leg of the day was of a towel animal we found in our room that night! I thought we had a great first full day at the Magic Kingdom! Dillon , Madilyn, and I claimed Philharmagic as the best attraction of the day, hands down. Buzz Lightyear was Wesley's favorite. We were all looking forward to the next day! Up Next: Hollywood Studios.................
