What great Photopass pics and it does sound like you had a great first day at the Magic Kingdom as well.

Sounds like an amazing trip! Can't believe you were able to keep the secret from your kids - I'm not going for another two years yet I talk about it every two minutes. It was meant to be a suprise untill my younger brother spotted the paperwork one evening! Never mind - mum and dad are still promising us an amazing trip!

Can't wait to read more!

I find myself getting so anxious reading your Trip Report. I guess it's because I want you and the kids to have a great time! You seem to be managing, though it's not without its ups and downs, particularly with the heat. It's the same way with us--we had friends who had never been to WDW with us in April, and I wanted everything to be perfect--and the lines not to be too long. When things didn't go quite right--queues taking longer than posted or some aspect of the attraction not up to snuff--I found myself getting all upset even though it was not my fault.

Anyway, glad everyone is managing to enjoy the trip. Your experience at the check-in for CRT was like one we had at Spoodles. With decades of handling lines of people, you can't help thinking this sort of confusion would be banned at WDW!

Just got caught up again! You all seem to be having a good time, though not without the usual ups and downs of four people liking different things! I can't wait to read more of your adventures!

Day 3 (Hollywood Studios):
We had a wake up call for 7:15am. Dillon answered and quickly hung up. I asked him who was on the phone and he said - he didn't know, just someone singing. LOL I guess he was too tired to care. We ate our breakfast in the room again (granola bars and poptarts). We were dressed and ready to go fairly quickly. I took my mug with me again and this time I was determined to get some diet coke before heading out to the parks. This time Madilyn brought her mug also. The boys opted to leave theirs in the room. (I had juice boxes and bottled water, so they didn't go thirsty by any means) Madilyn and I filled up our drinks in the food court and we all headed to the HS bus stop. For the first time of the trip, there was a line for the bus. We didn't have any trouble fitting on the bus though. Before long we were at Hollywood Studios. People were in line to get in, so we joined them. As we waited, I thought there must not be an opening show at this park. Before long we were being let into the park. I soon realized that there was an opening ceremony when all the traffic came to a hault. We made our way into a shop to do some shopping. Dillon was complaining of a stomach ache and that made me nervous. He took a seat in the floor of the airconditioned store while Wesley and Madilyn shopped around. When the opening ceremony started we half way watched it from the store. Wesley stood in the door way, but Madilyn was more interested in shopping. And Dillon still wasn't feeling well. Once the opening ceremony was over and they allowed people thru, we made a bee line for Tower of Terror. All morning, I kept waiting for the kids to back out. We had talked about it the night before so they knew thats where we were going first. Looking back on it , I think Dillon's stomach ache may have been from nervousness about TOT. It didn't even occur to me at the time. When we entered the hotel, they got a little nervous but we moved thru and were boarded pretty quickly before anyone had a chance to back out. As the elevator went up, Dillon cried out- I change my mind, I don't want to ride. I was secretly getting scared also. I said- don't worry, were not riding again. I heard several people laugh because I think they could hear the fear in my voice also. LOL. Then we dropped, and we dropped and we went up and we dropped some more. Madilyn and Dillon were TRULY terriffied. Wesley did surprisingly fine. I don't think he'd care to ride again, but he didn't flip out. I purchased the ride photo. (I will try to scan and post it). When we were on it , I was wishing we were off of it. But afterwards, I decided I liked it and if the kids would have been willing, I would have rode again. After tramuatizing my children on Tower of Terror, Rock and Roller Coaster was no longer an option so we headed back out to the hub stopping in some shops along the way. I told the kids how proud I was of them for riding and I really meant it. This was one of the main rides I was looking forward to on the trip and I had my concerns that I wouldn't get to ride it. I think the kids knew how much I wanted to ride and they toughed it out for me. They spent the rest of the day bragging about going on TOT. And Madilyn wanted to share every detail of the ride with anyone who would listen.
Up Next: Will we get to ride Toy Story Mania??

Great updates. I am so glad your kids "toughed" it up knowing how much you wanted to ride TOT. That is so sweet.
Glad everyone is having a good time and the heat isn't keeping you down to much.

Thanks for sharing looking forward to more.
