| I just got caught up!! Sounds like a great 1st trip!!! I agree....be prepared to change plans if needed according to crowds, etc. We will be down there right after you....arriving on June 4-June 14!! If I read your plans correctly, your going to be at DHS on June 5th??? We are planning on being there that day too Oh, I also noticed that you spelled DS2-Dillon?? That's the same way we spell our DS7 name...don't see that spelling too often. Guess I should start a TR too.... Hope you have a WONDERFUL time!!! |

| I am so excited for you! I love reading about first timers plans and trips. Others have given a lot of good suggestions. I would definitely make a list of the must sees and save things like Astro Orbiter and the Speedway for only if you have time. I would also bump down Sounds Dangerous at DHS lower on the list. It is a cool attraction but not a must do IMHO. I was going to warn you about the Safari closing early, they have to allow time to get the animals in for the night before sundown. I was also thinking ToonTown in the MK may close early, maybe someone can correct me? I would also bump down Carousel of Progress on the list. It is fun, but the kids would not enjoy it I think, it is long, and the only reason we have to ride it is that my DH remembers it from the NY World's Fair! Ellen's Energy Adventure is also a really long ride, but if any of your kids love dinos like mine do, then definitely go for it. But if you do the dino stuff in AK, then you could skip this. It is very slow and educational. I also wanted to add, what about meeting characters? Will your kids want to do that? Thanks for sharing!

| Wow that is jam packed!! Sounds like so much fun!! If I were you, I'd leave for the boat to FTW no later than 4pm just in case you have to wait. The ferry sometimes drops off at Wilderness Lodge first and sometimes it goes to Fort Wilderness first. The line for the Hoop dee doo and always long, so you might want to get there early to check in. It will take probably 2 minutes walk from marina to Pioneer Hall. IF you have some time in your schedule, be on the lookout for us!! We arrive June 8! To be a fly on your wall when you tell the kids!! Maybe gramma could come and pick the young one's up or maybe you could meet halfway?? Anything to save some time! Good luck and I can't wait to hear about the trip!! Keep in mind that you cannot do and see everything--I haven't and this is my 18th trip! But I do love the way you plan--and I totally understand how it is to get the kids up, off and running! I've got 4!

| UPDATE: First of all I'm so excited to be ten days away from leaving! I have made all my purchases for the trip except for the nearly impossible to find body glide, I will attempt to get it over the weekend. I added the Sci-Fi Dine ADR for 11:20am on Thursday (my HS day) and I was able to change my CRT ressie. I called and a better time became available- I now have 12:05 instead of the previous 1:30 for lunch, its still on the same day but this is much better since my kids typically eat by 11am. The only thing better would be an 8am breakfast! Thanks for reading, unless anything changes, I'll post again when I return. Now, I'm just thinking of how to tell the kids the morning of.............................................

| Hey I have a nearly unused stick of Body Glide you could have! You can always use UNSCENTED(works best)deoderant stick or UNSCENTED spray deoderant. Both work very well in keeping blisters at bay, plus your feet will not sweat! The spray is highly recommended by my podiatrist!Enjoy your trip!

| Your plans sound really ambitious and thank you for sharing them with us! You seem to have everything laid out in order to tackle them easily, I just have one suggestion, make sure you have a fall-back plan in terms of alternate places to visit in case the crowds swell, or the heat is unbearable. I also agree with making sure that you leave adequate time to get to FW for the Hoop Dee Doo. I recently had a resort reservation for Dinner and it took us about 35 minutes to get there by bus from a them park and that was after waiting a few minutes for the bus to arrive. Be sure to lay back and enjoy! Even if you get to experience 1/2 of what you have planned, you will have a wonderful time! Keep us posted. Can't wait to read more!

| We ended up missing the safari both days we went to AK because we didn't pay attention to the fact that it stopped running at 6:00 (that was in October). You'll definitely want to check the time for that. Hope you have an awesome trip. Look forward to hearing all about it when you get home. Have a blast!

| The bags are packed and loaded in the van. The boarding passes are printed. The kids are asleep and have no idea what they will be waking up to! The alarm is set for 4:30am (doubt its needed). It has been a stressful day trying to get all the last minute things done, but tomorrow we will be at Disney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am posting a few pics of my kids sleeping the night before disney, maybe someone can tell me how to post them in the post rather than at the end as attached thumbnails before the real trip report.............until then , this will do..............
