| My First Disney Trip! PRE-TRIP REPORT: Who's going?: Me, B.--single mother to 5 great kids and my first ever trip to Disney. S1, Wesley or BigW. -- 10yrs old, will be 11 in June and a very responsible older brother. S2,Dillon -- 9yrs old, I'm hoping he will maintain enough courage to ride the big rides. DD, Madilyn -- 7yrs old, the only girl with 4 brothers. she is very prissy and far from a tom boy. She is also quite the acrobat and dare devil. She is 471/2 in and were hoping for a mini growth spurt between now and the trip so that she can ride Primevil and RRC! Where are we staying?: Pop Century When?: June 3rd - June 10th Honorable Mention: My two "babies" will be staying with grandparents during our trip. Austin is 5 and Winston (Baby W) turned 2 last week. This is a big kids trip with no strollers or diaper changing. I'm trying not to feel guilty about it and I know we will return in a few years with the whole family. This will be the longest I've ever been away from any of my kids, so hopefully I will be having to much fun to miss them. What else do you need to know?: In addition to it being all of our first time to WDW, this is also a surprise trip! The kids have NO idea their going. I plan to tell them when I wake them up that morning for the trip. They will literally be bouncing off the walls! Up Next: **I originally was not going to start the pre trip report till a few days before departure. The reason I changed my mind, is I would like to give you all my niddy griddy details so that you can give me input since I've never been before. The next post will contain more details and you guys will see just how crazy I am (a little TOO detailed especially for a first timer) Thanks for reading.......................

| Pre-Trip Report: Continued......... Once you read over the plans, please let me know if there is something that might not work. I've gathered a lot of information, but nothing takes the place of experience. Thanks in advance. Day 1 (arrival day): We will have to wake up crazy early to drop the babies off with grandma so that we can be at the airport a good two hours early. We need to leave by 5:30am, yikes! When I wake the kids up around 5am I will tell them about the trip, I plan to have everything packed and the van loaded the night before. Our flight is scheduled for 9:30 am with delta. We should arrive in Orlando at 10:55 am. And we will be using Magical Express. I hope to be checking into Pop around noon. I hope the rooms ready for convenience but its not too big of a deal since we plan to head to a park. I plan to eat a somewhat light lunch at pop since we have an early dinner this day. Once checking in and getting a quick bite to eat. (and getting refillable mugs) we will head to animal kingdom. I hope to be there around 2pm. I would like to get in atleast 1 ride and get a fast pass for something before our 4pm ADR at Rain Forest Cafe. After dinner , I plan to restart our AK touring. AK closes at 8pm this night and I hope to get some rides in. Specifically, the kilimanjaro safari, expedition everest, and kali rapids. If I can get these three rides in that first day , I will be satisfied. I figure by the time we get back to the hotel and take showers I hope to all be in bed by 10pm. Day 2 (Magic Kingdom): Our first full day in the parks. I am taking poptarts and such to eat in the hotel each morning for breakfast to save time and money. I plan to get a mickey call for 7am. Dress, eat breakfast, and leave the room about 7:30am. I plan to stop by the food court to fill our mugs and head to the buses so that we can make it to MK before the 9am rope drop. I plan to start off in tomorrowland. Making a bee line for space mountain. After that: indy cars, astro orbiter, buzz light year, comedy club, and stiches escape. I hope to eat lunch by 11am at Cosmic Rays. Then I plan to head towards Adventureland making a brief stop to get a Thunder Mtn FP. Then: Aladdin carpet ride, Pirates of the Caribean (this will be a priority, since it closes next day), and Jungle Cruise. I hope to get that done before our 1:30 ADR at Cinderella's Royal Table. I plan to eat lightly at Cosmic Ray's but I know my kids won't be able to hold out till 1:30 for lunch. 1:30 was not the best time but I had to eat in that castle and my DD will love it! I figure we will be out about 2:30 and head to Fantasy Land. I want to go for Cinderella's carousel, philhar magic, peter pan, and small world. This will be during a parade time, so I am hoping the lines will be shorter. Then I plan to catch Country Bear Jamboree if the time is right before making our way to Thunder Mtn and Splash Mtn. The park closes at 7pm for PPP party and we will not attend. I would like to but decided it simply was not ideal for this trip. I'm guessing the kids will be good and hungry again by this time, so we will probably have a late dinner at pop food court. I hope to be back at the hotel, showered, and in bed by 9pm. NEXT: ** I will post the rest of the days itenerary. In the mean time tell me if you think this plan is realistic. Thanks.
