| Loved hearing about your quickie trip! Can't wait to hear about the August trip - and how AKL stacks up for a second time! So glad Izzy's rash didn't totally flare up til you were home and she could get her proper medical attention. Hopefully she'll have a great summer and no more flare-ups!

| Great wrap up Dani....I am so glad you had such a wonderful trip. You had such a fun filled weekend that I almost forgot what a short trip this was for you...(tot hink that before the boards i would have never even considered a weekend trip) but after reading so many wonderful reports I am so much more postitive of what you can get done even in a weekend (and you can never have enough Disney  )So glad that you were home when poor Izzy's rash finally came out fill force....I am glad that she is finally feeling better but I always feel so bad for all the medication that they have to take... Looking forward to all your new plans for August....

| Fantastic quickie trip which just makes me even more excited for my solo trip over a long weekend. I'm glad Izzy didn't get the full blown rash while at WDW but that she is better now.  DH does not want to stay at AKL but I am hoping that I can persuade him to one day. It sounds like a wonderful experience.  for sharing your trip with us!

| Danielle-great TR.  We stayed at AKL for the first time last year, also because of a promise to my kids, and we loved it. The views are gorgeous and the boys loved the great activities that the hotel offers. Glad you enjoyed it too. So sorry about Izzy's rash but glad that it waited for the end of the vacation to act up and I am so glad she is all better. Can't wait for the next PTR....just noticed we will be there at the same time and maybe our paths will cross. This is my first ever solo trip so if you notice a woman wandering around alone with a silly smile on her face and eyes dancing with excitement that is probably me |

| I'm so sorry I'm just reading this TR now-with my laptop dying on me & going about 3 weeks before getting my Dell, I've really fallen behind in my TR reading. I loved the pictures of your family & descriptions of what you did each day.....you got to meet alot of great PP'ers. When you told the backstory of how you and Eileen first started talking I got so teary......I have a similar story as to Nala, Meg and Amy (Akleos)......I had PM'd Nala something about the wand coming down off of SE and we just started talking and discovered so many similar experiences we had been thru. It's amazing how you "connect" with folks on here as you realize we're all people sitting behind computers. I can't wait to hear all about your next adventures!! I'm sure you've got another trip cooking somewhere along the line.

| I finally was able to grab a few moments and catch up on your TR. How scary about the back pack!  Thank goodness it was still there!!!!!!!! I am impressed that Izzy rode Dinosaur. I am with her in the "Once was enough" catagory. Aren't late night swims the best thing to end a day with? Glad you and the family got to enjoy some pool time. I am so glad you all enjoyed the AKL. That resort has a special place in my heart and I am glad it found one in yours too. Great report, Danielle. Thanks for sharing it with us. I will be looking forward to the next one.
