| Sounds like a perfect Birthday Amy! I think your grandmother and my mom learned how to drive a scooter from the same person... my mom almost took out the entire back row at The Little Mermaid....

| I'd like to do a cake for Kassie's friend as she is actually turning 17 on the trip and I'd like to do something nice for Sam and I for our 4 year anniversary. It's in October. My birthday is in October as well and I'll probably wear a birthday pin, but I'm not ordering a cake for myself! LOL

| I just sat down and read all 28 pages of this trip report! I'm loving it Amy! You ladies seem to be having so much fun. I wish my Mom would come with us one trip (and not just because of the babysitter qualities ha ha) I think she would have fun but she just has never been a big "fantasy" person. I'd love to see her reaction on Soarin though! Bethany and I went to the F & G Festival as well. We loved the topiaries. I took tons and tons of pics too. Question about the AKL. How did you like it considering how far away it is from the parks (not the AK of course). Was transportation fine?

We had a blast with my Grandma it was a trip full of great memories! AKL was great, we used the busses though only once and we saw a ton of buses so it seemed like not having to share and not having multiple stops made up any time lost by the location. But in reality AKL is not much further then the All Stars. We loved it there. We had a rental car and we loved how to get off property and to Wal Greens or 192 there was a shortcut right outside AKL's entrance. So that was great! Thanks to those who just joined and spent time reading my report I appreciate the time you put into it and that your enjoying it! I hope to update sometime later today with any hope!

| Cool Amy! Yeah, we live only 6 hours away so it's better for us to just drive. I'm thankful for that. If you are an early riser, driving yourself can get you pretty close (well, except at the MK. ha ha) I have a suggestion for you the next time you head to the Main Street Bakery. Get the French Toast Loaf. It is truly the best thing ever. Bethany found the recipe online and makes it for us occasionally. The only difference is the bread size. The bakery must slice their own bread. It's huge. Here. I'll post a pic of it. It's DELICOUS! ![]()

| I have read about the french toast loaf but I am not a fan of French Toast. Maybe once I am down there again I will brave it and try it. But thanks for the tip!

| That's the syrup. However, I don't always use the syrup. I think the FTL is good with or without it.

| OK, Amy, it's taken me a while, but I'm finally caught up now! Sounds like you're having a pretty great trip. I like the apartments you got to see, but I think the one you said was your favorite is my favorite too. Hope you move there. Reading about your meals never fails to make me hungry! And what a great birthday you had! Ready for more now!
