| Yay! You made it to Florida! and it looks like you were able to find WDW all on your own....( I was worried there would be some sort of detour... like to canada...mixed in with your ride).... just kidding Amy...can't wait to read the rest!

| Updated 5/26 We made it to AKL by about 12:30ish maybe a little later and we could feel the excitement grow as we got closer and closer to Animal Kingdom and then Animal Kingdom Lodge. Mom was the passenger I was driving since I know WDW better then I know CT roads and Mom tends to be more touristy in her driving (no offense to those not familiar with the roads but I tend to drive more when we go to WDW its a control thing) so she was in charge of taking photos of our arrival. Here is our arrival to the lodge:      We arrived and the lodge had this inviting feeling and then we were greeted by a wonderful CM who registered our car for valet and a bellman who took our enormous pile of bags to be stored until we got our room assignment. We headed inside I took photos as i walked and headed over to the front desk where we were checked in by a very nice CM (sorry forgot the name) who let us know that our room was .....Ready. She gave us the keys and showed us how to get to the room and we were excited to be on our way. Some photos of our walk into the resort, the front Desk!       OK here is one of the 3 of us at the Front Desk        Mom showing us where to get more money if needed   We got to our room on the Kudu Trail and we had to go down 1 floor to the 2nd floor which would provide for some comical events later on in the trip since my G'ma just didn't grasp the whole Down 1 floor concept but we were excited we knew that we were too far away from the parking lot for a view of that and the pool was on the other side so we had definitely gotten Magic Sprinkled and when we walked it we found ourselves in a Savannah View Room. It was facing the Sunset Savannah and had a view of 1 crane but we saw so many animals it was not that bad! Here are photos of our room and then up next another update!           UP next.... More of our View, Toy Story Mania or not, and ummm who do you suppose sent that...A W????
