| That apartment is really nice. I can see why it jumped to the top of the list. Good luck with the apartment hunting.

| Let me just jump on board with everyone else by saying I love the last apartment. It looks very roomy and the outside is just adorable. I have never heard of a community lounge area so that is really neat.

| It's a Trip Detour...... 6/1/2008 Caution .....Caution.....Caution....Its a Trip...... ![]() Why you ask??? Well before I can continue I do have to explain that in 2006 My mother and I went down to Florida around Memorial Day and we spent time looking at apartments. We had taken photos of and toured 3 apartments then, 2 of which we really liked. Well Before I put my Next update up I will put our photos up from that trip (taken from a different camera) so that you can see some of them. These two are on our list of "We like them and would move there if they don't have anything available at the Cottage Style place" First there is the Apartments that are practically ON Disney Property they are that close! While that is a Plus for Disney Fanatics not such a plus when you consider traffic! But if I Work at WDW then this is a HUGE PLUS! So On with Photos of Choice # 1 located in World Gateway Area of 535: ![]() ![]() ![]() The Pool ![]() The Trellis by the Pool ![]() The Club House ![]() The Living Room ![]() The Kitchen/Breakfast Bar and entry to the Laundry Room ![]() 2nd Bedroom's Bathroom ![]() ![]() The 2nd Bedroom ![]() ![]() The Closet in the 2nd Bedroom ![]() Master Bedroom ![]() Master Bathroom (bad photo sorry) ![]() They do Have a Fitness Center ![]() It felt very open and airy in the apartment and we really did like it but the traffic is something to consider and the ease of getting in and out of the apartment complex road is something to keep in mind! The next One we kept on our list was located in the Same area as the 1st choice we have (the cottages) but its a little smaller and its on the other side of the highway so a little seperated from all the shopping and stores but that could be a plus. The size is keeping this as a "we like it but only if nothing else comes up" option The only shots I took were of the outside of the building because I was a bad photographer back then and didn't always remember that in order to get a picture I had to take a picture ![]() ![]() It was pretty basic though! So with the 3 or so we looked at on our first day of apartment shopping this trip, and the 2 from the last trip that we kept on the list as for sures and the last trip we looked a few that were "maybes" we were up to about 8 places so far. Up Next....Our Apartment search continues....maybe...and more of Day 3. Thanks for staying with us during this detour!

| They look like great choices! The first one looks very similar to the inside of the cottages, but I know what you mean about the feel of the cottages. They are very welcoming & warm on the outside! Sounds like your options are plentiful, which will make the move a whole lot easier!! Can't wait to hear more

| Ok, you did warn me not to look at the food photos on an empty stomach. Next time I'll listen. ![]() The apartments you are looking at all look really nice. I wish apartments around here were that nice at an affordable price.

| The Cottages is right by my apartment. It's diagonally from me. I live in Colonial Grand At Hunter's Creek now. That is until I move to my house in Clermont. Sorry you didn't like it there. It's so nice a peaceful there. Hunter's Creek is nice too. Can't wait to see where you decide to live.

| We liked Clermont we just didn't get to see the inside of the apartment so that is holding us back there. But we liked the area enough just the 1st two places we went to just weren't for us there. Trust me when I say right now we are in a holding pattern until we hear back on which has a 1st floor and if we like the complex enough to take it. We may go with our first choice and 2nd floor if the only 1st floor is at a complex we weren't overly thrilled with. Choices Choices Choices But There is more to come...just not right now ![]()
