| The Little Trip That Could-- Part II: Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes (my mind-boggling PTR)! **Updated 8/23** COMPLETE  I figured that my best bet to continue without total confusion would be to start an "official" Pre Trip Report. Basically, my trip has had so many incarnations at this point that some of your heads are probably spinning. Here is the basic background and previous plans for those of you who are just joining, or just want quick Spark notes recap version. Title: The Little Trip that Could (you’ll see why I had the "I think I can" attitude) Part I-- Pre-PTR for our Upcoming Holiday Adventure Now complete Q&A thread that started as a PTR and helped me figure out when and where our Holiday trip would take place... that is before we decided to switch to free dining in August. Tons of info for holiday trippers! Part II-- This Thread  , A Countdown to Wilderness Lodge at Christmas that turned into a Countdown to Boardwalk in August! Totally sweet change! As you will see I was totally channeling Bowie during the planning here (Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes...)Part III-- TBA, this will be my actual TR many months from now when my trip has come and gone! Characters: Me (25 year old, 9th grade World History teacher, I heart scrapbooking, Law & Order, going to the movies, and Disney Crocs)  Rob (My 23 year old, DBF, Works for IBM and hearts his truck, Family Guy, weightlifting, and spending time with me and our dog Liam)  Past trips: Rob went with his fam when he was 7, and I have only been on the two trips that we have taken together: January 2006 for my college graduation and July 2007 for my birthday present!   This particular trip started in the back of my mind on the plane ride home from our 2007 trip. We returned to find Rob’s landlord was selling the house him and his roommate lived in and we began a rushed search for a place to live! I was so quickly taken out of my Walt Disney World frame of mind that I immediately began to daydream. We decided on Memorial Day which soon shifted to Spring Break and I eagerly put down a deposit. Then we started to save money. Low and behold we had more than enough and I decided it would be fun to visit DisneyLand instead and we decided we would wait until the summer. I started to get quotes. THEN someone on the boards mentioned that our DLR trip was costing close to what they paid for a Disney Cruise. So we got some different quotes. And just as I was about to switch the deposit or whatnot… Rob lost his job. There went our dream vacation. Once we got back on our feet and pooled our resources we realized we COULD still afford Disney World. Just not for Spring Break, or Memorial Day, or the Summer. We finally landed on Winter holidays. <Deep Breath> Thanksgiving at Port Orleans French Quarter. No wait, I mean- New Years Eve at Port Orleans French Quarter. No wait, I mean- New Year’s Eve at Wilderness Lodge. No wait, I ACTUALLY mean right before Christmas at Wilderness Lodge. HAHA! Changed again- after a flight schedule snafoo we switched to the last week of August at Boardwalk. So, here are our final details, set in stone! August 26-30 at Boardwalk Inn! Plus we officially have a trip planned for 2009 (more deets to come)! Next Up :::::Cooking Up Some Daily Disney Magic:::::

| Great to see the new thread Melissa...I think the dates are perfect and I think that you are so right as the 31st and 1st would have been pretty busy. Can't wait to hear more plans....
