Andy owes me a new keyboard -- the "I'm not wearing pants" comment totally slayed me.... and the Pepsi went flying.

Great stuff, you guys. Can't wait to read more on all the "things" you ate.

I just told Andy this and first he was confused as to why you wanted his piano (keyboard).... and then he goes "hmmm I'm not sure if I should laugh at that or not...??" (in reference to you laughing at him and no pants.........and I'm not going any further there.... cause I don't wanna cause any trouble )

So we hopped on the bus from the All Star Sports headed to Epcot. This was the only time we had to make a stop at the other All Star resorts (it was also the only time we rode the bus in the afternoon/evening) We made it to Epcot in fairly good time despite the stops. We had an ADR at Rose and Crown for 6:20ish (can't remember exactly) and we weren't quite sure if we'd keep it. We had plans to meet up with Maureen and Connor, Brandi and Tom, and Bill and Jan later in the UK. So we first hopped in line to ride SSE.

The line looked like a really long wait but since the line is constantly moving we really didn't have to wait that long. And almost all of the line was covered in shade which really helped.

You know when you're in a line for like 15 minutes or more you, atleast I do, you watch all the people around you... atleast I do. I always tend to see those people over and over again in the park. In this occasion there was this hippie guy with a rat on his face (aka weird spotty beard) in line and I swear I saw him all the rest of the night, like I saw him atleast 10 times.

Okay, I didn't know that... thanks for sharing that NOW
Anyway........
so we ride SSE which we really really like now.. and I know there are a bunch of you naysayers out there...you purists... that liked it before.... and don't like the ending much now (aka Matt) we really do like it. I mean, I was rereading my bday trip from last year which was the first time we ever rode it (I know shame shame) and I was talking about the fact I was glad they were refurbing it b/c I couldn't hear a d*&^ word Jeremy Irons was saying. And I love me some Jeremy Irons.... so I do wish he was still the narrator.... dang Judy Dench (you know instead of "dame" Judy Dench)..

ba dum ching

Okay, moving ahead in this TR rather than rambling on any further about that...
We got on the ride...

Andy took my picture
And he continued to photo the little bit of me having to tell the computer where we were from...

Charlotte, please...thank you

I like how our city is actually one of the choices

Yeah...but we don't actually live there anymore. We live "Just north of Charlotte" as we tell people now.

In RACE CITY USA. And that wasn't a choice

yeah....nice....
Anyway...
I took some photos on the ride... as best I could...

We got stuck at one point... I don't remember which scene... perhaps this one..since I took a decent enough photo to post..
Then I took this photo... again remember I don't take TR notes... I take TR pictures to help me remember all the stupid crap we do......

We made some HILARIOUS comment about this chick's late 70's early 80's getup... but unfortunately, too much time has passed... and we can't remember. But all I gots to say is, check out her YELLOW leggins and total 'fro!! Nice Oh wait, and her trashy black knee hi boots
What kind of scientist/laboratory person is that??

One from the 70's.....when sexual harassment was expected.

So we get to the end.... we answer all the questions... Exactly the same way we answered them last time....

I got a 100

Something about what do you worry about most when you travel... me, the pets... even though Mittens is acting a fool right now, RIGHT ABOVE MY HEAD on the back of the couch. Running from end to end like a moron. Why do I worry about you??
And then how do we want to travel... by solar power...that's what we said..

Like we're really green... we don't even recycle

Don't tell people that!! It's b/c the trashman comes and picks up our trash every Thursday....

and they won't take all your liquor bottles at the recycling place. They'd think we're running a business

Oh I'm sorry, I think you've confused me with your mom OHHHHHHHHHHHHH

that was a low blow....

But it's true.... and I do still love T & K

Anyway.....
moving on...
So we answered all the questions and we get our little future picture thing....

And then we see....that Andy had the beginnings of an idea, as he called it...

First off, we have to stop and laugh at his stupid duck face lips....can you see???
And then.... you have to love that the cameras on SSE have yet to master the technology of capturing people's photos when said peoples have sunglasses on top of their heads. Andy wasn't the only person we saw on the screen that had their photo whacked out a bit due to sunglasses on the head That's hilarious...

some people's face was entirely missing

I don't really think it was that bad, was it???
So we get off the ride and find ourselves on the big globe just in time to see us shoot back off to Charlotte (or just north of Charlotte)

But not really!! We're still here at Epcot! No worries

That is a dumb joke

I enjoyed it
After SSE we walked towards the hateful tip board that told us the wait for Test Track was too long for us...and the wait for Soarin'....well that was even longer. So we decided to do something new... we went to the Land and rode Living with the Land. Even it had a long freaking line, that we, like the people in front of us, considered ditching. But we stuck it out...and I'm glad....

Guess who was behind us in line? Said hippie

You gotta be kidding me?!? Seriously?? And you didn't point this out at the time..

I thought he was following us.. I didn't want to point it out at the time

So this was a first for us...Andy thinks he remembers riding it as a kid....but for the sake of this TR, we'll pretend it was the first time for both of us...
I of course, took some pictures

The pumpkin with Mickey ears... if you look close you can see that the last pumpkin is earning his ears... let's all on the count of three... "awwwwwwww"
After the land we went and did the opposite... The seas.....
We rode Nemo...and talked fondly over Audrey...but not her travel mates

I filled Andy in on all the shenanigans me and Audrey got into when we went on our own to the Seas

While in line for Nemo I decided, you know, we were thinking of ditching the R & C and just grabbing some and fish and chips from the CS. But... we already have the ADR... why not just keep it, split the fish and chips, and then we can use our DDE card and get a discount...duh
So we decided to go with that plan
We made our way over to the UK. We checked in and I requested to sit outside. They gave us the big schpiel about "we can't guarantee blah blah blah" and I just said "Look, we don't want to sit outside and stick around for 3 hours to see Illuminations. We just want to sit down and have a quick meal." I mean c'mon we'd be gone in time for them to sit someone else out there... gimme a break. And how funny that once I said that.... we were handed a pager and seated, outside, in a FABULOUS seat (that we've had before I might add) in no time!

While we waited in the bar we grabbed some beers...

And I think Andy got tired of me wasting time by taking his picture....

Yes.. I censored that picture for the PP boards. Andy is either, picking his nose....or flipping us off.... you decide

If I am picking my nose then I am in verry deep

That's just gross!!!

I think you're the "hole in the ring" Melissa

Yeah, that's a reference from "That Mitchell and Webb Look" on the BBC America. We love that show... sketch comedy... love it

SO.... we were seated fast, like I said.....in a our fab spot... same as we had two years ago for my bday... at the bottom of the steps..

Andy got hold of the camera..

Yeah...could you take one when I'm looking?

Thanks

We quickly devoured our meal... while watching the most rude guy I had EVER SEEN! Andy couldn't see him....this guy was behind him. But anyway. This guy's family gets up to I guess go to the bathroom...leaving this guy by himself. He'd already come across as a jerk, from watching him throughout the meal. But once they left, someone's napkin was on the table, right in front of him. And the wind blew it off the table. Jerk guy watches it as it blows away, onto the ground, towards the people at the table beside. The people beside him just kind of look at it...look at him....and then finally pick it up and hand it to him. I mean what a jerk. The next place that napkin was going was in the water.. and it's not a paper napkin, it's freaking cloth. What a lazy a$$ butthole! That junk just makes me mad.....

he's the "hole in the ring" Melissa... the reference in the comedy sketch is "the hole in the ring" gets said when the host flips somebody off..it's a play on The Weakest Link. Instead of being the weakest link you're the hole in the ring and you get flipped off

Moving on from that... after dinner we grabbed a beer to go And headed over to the gazebo to see the BI and Maureen and Brandi and Tom and Bill and Jan and everybody.... All Together Now (andy told me to add that... a nice Beatles reference)

Bill rubbed it in immediately that he was the first PPer to see Connor b/c we had decided to do dinner and missed the 6pm show.

Actually I think Maureen was the first PPer to see Connor

hahahaha!! You're hilarious!
Anyway..here's mom and baby

Then I had to get a pic with Bill and Jan and their granddaughter

It was GREAT to see Bill and Jan again! We really love seeing them! They are the nicest people!
More photos ensued... as did more drinking on our part...and some BI shows were thrown in the mix...

Whatever it was, it was hilarious
I think it had something to do with the story Brandi told about Tom saying about Connor "but babe, he ain't got no teeth" but I think he said "teef" and I thought it was hilarious!!!
Then the drool story came

And then the BI played... in their Sgt. Pepper outfits that we haven't seen since freaking 2005!! And we've seen a fair amount of shows since then.....

We had been forewarned by Brandi though... so we knew to expect the "pirate" look from Eye Love (I know all you PPers have been wondering when Eye Love was gonna be mentioned again )

During the break between shows more pictures of Connor occured

Then things just got silly after all the we'd had and all the silly talk we'd had Brandi took this pic...

And then I had to go to the bathroom so I decided to go to the nice bathrooms at the R & C and on the way back I see Andy with my camera, posed ready to take photos...so I gave him something photograph..

Whoa...really?? I musta missed that!!

Hahaha. yeah....

We still had time before the next show so we decided to see if Pooh and friends were out. They were... and Andy ONLY got one picture off...and it's a doozy..

Nobody's looking at the camera... look at Tigger..

Tigger's off in la la land

Luckily I have mad skills and I stole one of the Photopass site

And it looks like Tigger and Pooh have a conspiracy to crush my head.....

Back out at the gazebo.... Andy ending up holding Connor. I had to pass b/c I was getting sick and I could feel it and I didn't want to spread my disease

But aren't the cute??

Then a half drunk self shot occurred...

We weren't really half drunk....but we were having a dang good time PP pals have that affect on people

Then it was time for more show...

After the last show we said our goodbyes...

Got this great shot with Brandi and Tom
And then headed our own ways. I knew I had to get out of the park before Illuminations started so I didn't get SUCKED in!! We were headed to the MK for EMH. I stopped by the restroom on the way out.....came out to find Andy talking to Bill and Jan again for a bit....

talking about you being a monkey in a cage on long car trips

I remember that... he told us how long it took him to get there and it's only 2 hours less than us.. and he lives in the same freaking state as WDW!!!

On the way out I took a few photos of the ball..

And then we were on the monorail to the MK

AWESOME!!!! I MADE THE TRIP REPORT. I mean I made a trip report due to me being a SSE purist but I'll take it regardless. LOL. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind SSE I just found that they decided to save some money on it.

What a fun PassPorter meet - it looks like you guys were having a ball! I love the new addition to Spaceship Earth (well, new since we were there) about where you're from. I'll be on the lookout for that in October. And that is too funny about the hippie with the rat on his face!

What a fun day in Epcot! You snagged a great table at the Rose 'N Crown. It would have been a perfect spot if you were staying for Illuminations! Sounds like a good time was had with PP friends. I loved the pic of Andy with Connor. He looks very comfortable with a baby in his arms Hurry back with more about your EMH at MK!
