| I can't STAND people who get all up in your personal space. The last time this was a major problem was when Bethany and I were on Toy Story Midway Mania! I forgot to include it in my trip report but this couple just didn't watch their little boy. He was about 7 which is PLENTY old enough to realize maybe you shouldn't run into the pregnant woman in front of you 10 times. I finall put Bethany in front of me, stretched out my arms and kept him away from her. When he ran into the back of me for about the 4th time (on top of all the times he hit Bethany) I turned around and just glared at the parents. lol My eyes created an automatic five foot gap between us. Honestly, kids are usually unaware of everything they do that is dumb/annoying/dangerous. That's why the parents are supposed to pay attention to their kids and be able to correct them. However when you ignore your kid the entire time while you talk about whatever, it's the parent's fault and not the kid!!!

| I'm so jealous! That's the camera I want. I have the film version of it. I can't remember what it's called right now off the top of my head.

| What size lens did you use on your Canon? I'm really wanting to take our Nikon when we go in 44 days, but am worried about the weight/bulkiness of it around the parks. It's a battle between great pics/heavier camera and okay pics/light camera.

| I only have the lens that came with the camera right now... saving up to buy a new one... the dang lens cost almost as much as the camera. I don't really have a problem with it being bulky.. I either carry it on my shoulder or stuff it in the backpack when I'm not using it.

| I've noticed that happening on other posts, as well. Not sure what that's all about. Weird, isn't it?

| I've had so much fun catching up on your TR. The two of you are so funny. I think I'll be giggling all day over your inside-the-booty photo! I must admit that I'm glad there's more of this TR, even though I know a new one will be along shortly - more for us! Can't wait!

| Before I continue on with this final installment I felt compelled to bring up something mentioned at the beginning Last night we watched the VH1 Rock Honors show honoring The Who and it was FABULOUS!!! What does that have to do with something mentioned earlier in the TR?? Remember our playing around about ole Eddie Vedder? (Again, I would like reiterate that if we make fun of something or someone then that means we really care... that sounds stupid I know, but if we didn't care or like it we wouldn't waste our time smiling and laughing about it...) SO, anyways.. Pearl Jam was one of the bands that paid tribute to The Who last night and I have to say I was very impressed. I mean, Pearl Jam has always been great, but they got up there and did the Quadrophenia songs justice! Great job Pearl Jam! And in honor of The Who and their fabulousness, even 40+ years later... ![]() And to tie in a little Disney to segway into my TR... ![]() Anybody remember where I took that photo?? So... after lunch we went over and grabbed some FPs for TOT and then went to cash in our RnRC ones... only to find out that RnRC was down at the time ![]() I thought this was really cool as I have one of those statues. My grandmother gave me the one of him with his soldier hat and sword. She got him when she was a little girl and played with him so much his little feet are worn down But he's here with me now ![]() ![]() Where we'll be in about 4 months After walking through here we decided to find some more wonderful A/C in the hot hot heat so we headed to the Tune In Lounge at 50's to have a drink (or 2). The bartender there was great. His name was Mario and he was from Cuba (can you tell I actually made notes for the last two days? ) I raspily ordered the Pomegrante Splash to which this conversation occursBartender Mario: "What's wrong with you?" Me (whispering): "I lost my voice, don't know what happened" Bartender Mario: (laughs, points to alcohol) "This'll fix you right up!" ![]() Love it! So we sat there for a while, I enjoyed 2 Pomegrante Splash's while Andy had a Heineken or two. ![]() The drinks were very refreshing and they helped soothe my throat so Mario was right... I mean I didn't have my voice back but my throat felt better.... and I felt pretty good, too ![]() While we were sitting there we watched Mario as he trained another Cuban bartender. He kind of took over us so we made sure to be nice to him.... how were we nice to him you ask? Oh...just forgot to give him our DDE card before he gave us the bill so he had to get Mario to help him. But Mario was super nice about it, so no worries. It was also while we were sitting here that we found out that they changed their menu like two days before and took off the fried cheese ![]() On the way out we took a self shot outside the Lounge ![]() So then we figured what better to do in 90 degree heat after a couple drinks than to walk down and use our TOT FPs While waiting to get in the library Andy decided to make his own ghost photo... ![]() While we're in the library waiting for the doors to open I have in my notes "put zee candle back" and the door opens. I think that means there are some candles beside the door and Andy and I both made the Young Frankenstein joke "Put.... zee candle...back" and then seriously, the door opened Timing in life is everything as DFIL says. This ride was a lot more interesting than the previous TOT ride. First off, there was this crazy girl on there and it was obviously her first time and she was scared to death. I mean really really scared. Andy wanted to do his "THIS IS IT" at the wrong time but I made him not b/c that girl was REALLY freaking out. When we finally started falling she just kept screaming and screaming, so much so that her friend finally looked at her, mid ride, and goes "SHUT UP!" Andy compared this chick to that America's Funniest Home Videos clip of that boy in that sling shot swing ride...where he was about to fall out (at least it looked like it) and he was screaming bloody murder the whole time...I can't find the video, maybe Andy knows where to find it....Also on this ride was a family with who I swear was one of those personal guides you can get for the day Now that's a job I want ![]() We headed over to RnRC after TOT and saw this same family with the guide in line behind us... Now, I'm telling you... having had 2 drinks and then getting sloshed up and down and up and down on the TOT, RnRC was sounding very funny at the time We got up to our car fairly quickly. And I don't know if it was the couple drinks or if it really was quick, but we shot outta there A LOT QUICKER than we were used to. You usually sit there a good bit listening to the radio, but buddy, we were OFF! And this ride.... this ride is where I was cracking up more at myself than the ride. I always try to point out new things I see....well I couldn't yell them out... and the more I tried, the more I laughed, and the more I laughed the more tears came out of my eyes So Andy started yelling for me. I have in my notes he spotted a giant taco ![]() When we came off the ride I had dried tear marks streaking my cheeks Good times, good times. Now I guess we are really not observant folks....when we came out of the ride Andy points out the fact that you can see the tower from there.... yeah, I guess we just don't look up when we're over in that area...![]() So we headed on down towards the entrance.. we wanted to catch the Block Party Bash before heading back. I was convinced I needed something sweet to eat while we watched the parade. I settled on this: ![]() Yeah... I learned my lesson real fast. Marshmellowy chocolately gooey goodness and hot hot blistering heat don't mix well ![]() I had that crap all over me ![]() Finally the parade started and we set up camp. I wish we had known more about what it would be like but I hadn't read a lot b/c I didn't want to spoil it. BUT, we ended up right in front of the Toy Story float... I wish we had been in front of the Monster's Inc. one. Oh well, live and learn. I took a gazillion photos... ![]() ![]() ![]() 2319!!! (we love this guy!) ![]() After the parade we still had a little while before we needed to be back at the All Star Sports for our DME pick up. We sat on a bench in the shade in front of the photo shop while I tried to do some damage to that marshmellow madness.. ![]() You can see I haven't accomplished much.. I guess my eyes were way bigger than my stomach... Finally we decided we could postpone our departure no longer and headed out to catch a bus back to All Star Sports. The line was seriously wound all around the rails, and lined up past the bus stop next to it. These people had been waiting forever, too. We started getting nervous as this would be pushing it getting back. We waited about 20-30 minutes and finally a bus came.... (we had watched 2 and 3 of the same busses go by during that time) and they had a serious issue trying to get a wheelchair off and another one on. I mean, really, this tacked on another 15 minutes of waiting. We finally said screw it and grabbed a cab b/c we HAD to get back. So we get back, we get our luggage, and we hang out to wait for the DME bus. We didn't have to wait too terribly long and before we knew it we were headed back to MCO Once at MCO we got through security very quickly and enjoyed dinner at Outback before boarding our uneventful flight back home DUH Anyways....so that's the trip.... Coming up: I'll post a few final thoughts and wrap this puppy up!
