| Wow, you packed a lot into your first "official" trip report installment! Thanks for the great read! I will say that after reading your info on Universal, I don't have any desire to go there (at least until they open the new Harry Potter park! ) That chicken-mashed potato wrap thing looked good, though!

Sounds like a great day Sharon, unfortunately when DH and I went to US in September, I didn't really enjoy it because I kept thinking about how much time I was spending outside of the Disney bubble. I was dissapointed in myself afterwards, because it does look like there is alot to enjoy there  Can't wait for more!!!

| So yes we had to wait but the wait was so worth it....each time you ended a section and then I would scroll down and there would be another one....you made my day at work. Your timeshare looks beautiful and so did your room at Universal. Sounds like a good day but the more I read I realize that Universal will never be Disney... I would love to hit Universal for a day but I could come back to Disney everyday of the year (ok not everyday because if I never leave I could never get excited about coming back but you know what I mean) What a great way to end you day but to spend it with Eileen, Karen and family and getting to finally meet Jill and the gang.... Can't wait to hear more...   |

| Great, awesome start Sharon!!!! Was the singing dude young or old? Great photos that you took in Universal!!!! I hate the timeshare people bugging, especially at a park!! Love the photos of the unruly kids, I hope mine stay pretty well-behaved and don't end up in your photo hall of shame!!

| So glad you started your TR. I haven't been to US since the 90's. A lot has changed, maybe we will try it out once our girls get older. Can't wait to read more!

| You've accomplished so much at US! Maybe the $$ you pay at Portofino is worth it since you get to skip the line.... something to ponder. The rental car lady story was funny - you snooze you lose lady! And your lunch looked deeee-licious. I'm a banana fan myself... yumm..... Looking forward to the Disney-part of the adventure!
