| Okay, so where were we?? After I booked the return flight, with the extra day, I shopped online for a rental car to get us back to MCO that Sunday morning. I wasn’t sure we wanted to do DME back and might prefer the flexibility the rental car would give us. I was able to get a mid-size SUV thru Alamo at the Dolphin for about $50!! Wow, a bit pricey. No matter, it’s just a reservation at this point. Next up were park tickets. Since the flights were now booked and we knew when we’d be there, I started debating on tickets. At this point, I wasn’t planning on going to the parks our arrival day, since by the time we got to the hotel, it would be 5 PM, and I figured time at the pool and maybe DTD would be the plan. That left us with 9 days for the parks. Of course, Undercover Tourist doesn’t sell 9 day tickets  Do I dare take another day off and go for 8-day tickets, or do I suck it up and pay the like extra $3 per person and get the 10 day tickets? Well, I guess you see where that’s going. I just paid for the 10 day tickets. I toyed with getting the water parks and more option, but figured at this point, if we do go to a water park, it will only be for a day (since we have our own water park at the BC) and it was cheaper just to buy tickets for the day rather than add on the option. Since I wasn’t going to pay the extra $150 or whatever it was for the non-expiring option, having all those extra plusses wouldn’t have mattered anyway! Thru the link on the Mousesavers newsletter, I purchased 10 day park hopper tickets, for I think $999 for the 4 of us. Not too bad, I must say (remember, I’m used to buying annual passes so this was cheapo)!!We’re now into June, and I start to debate on where to spend the extra Saturday night that I just added on. Since I had the car reservation, I looked offsite. I found a Hampton Inn (which we love) closer to the airport for about $90. But, as my luck was happening for this trip, I had gotten another PIN code for the value resorts, or up to 20% off other rooms (I think this one was from the planning DVD). I sent a note to Marisa asking her to check availability at the POP (since we’ve never stayed there) so I could compare the cost to the Hampton Inn. She said she might be able to get us the same great rate we had at the BC because even though the promo ended in March, if you add a day on, sometimes they let you keep the rate. As luck would have it, I could add on another night at the BC for the same great rate that I had!! Which is what I did  !! I promptly cancelled the reservation at the Hampton Inn, and then a few days later, decided to save money again and take DME back to the airport, cancelling the rental car for the day!Fast forward to July, and we confirmed that we were taking DME with Marisa, gave her the flight info, and promptly had our DME tickets (and some other goodies!!  )!! This finally kicked me into the spirit of this trip (for some reason I just couldn’t get motivated/excited)! The kids and I made a trip to Target and stocked up on all our toiletries. We found our quarters and pennies and stuffed our M&M containers for our pressed pennies, and took the pins off the lanyards that we didn’t want to trade. We found our ponchos, finished off our Mousekeeping envelopes, and found all our extra glow sticks!! Finally everything was coming together, and we were all excited about the trip!!Coming up next……We’re on final countdown!!

| Glad you were able to add on an extra day at the Beach Club-I'm really hoping my kids fall in love with it like I have. (hint hint Nala)  I hope to some day take a long vacation to Disney for ten days!! But then I'd never want to leave. If you don't update again before your departure, have a wonderful trip!!

| I'm right with Jooki on this one - 10 days sounds heavenly!!! Marnie, I like the way you are so.....nonchalant (?) about planning this trip. You are just going with the flow, not stressing out about anything....and it's just falling together perfectly! I love it!!!

| Great update, Marnie!! Glad you were able to add on another day and apply the PIN code, as well!  (We finally got our first PIN code via e-mail like 2 days ago, but of course the last day is the day we arrive in December   It does say something about calling for different dates, so we may try that. It was just great to FINALLY receive one after all these years!!)Great decision on adding the extra day! those $3 days in a park! Even if you end up not using it, you really don't lose much!You'll enjoy DME. You can't beat the price, since it's included anyway. We've found that we wouldn't have left much later to get to MCO if we had left on our own. Sounds like your ducks are all in a row!! Can't wait to hear more

| How LUCKY that you were able to add on a night at the Beach Club at the same great rate! Great idea getting the 10-day tickets.. for $3, even if you only spend an hour or two in a park it's well worth the added expense.

| Sounds like everything is in place and all that is left is getting on the plane I think your decision to buy the 10 day tickets was a good one...for the few extra dollars I would rather have the flexability to play with then not....(and you never know you might want to just drop by the MK on your arrival night to see the fireworks) Can't wait for more....
