Great report! I'm looking forward to reading more. What did you think of CBR? Was the main pool rehab finished yet? We stayed there over Labor Day, so I'd like to hear your opinion.

First, I'm with Jill on the being afraid of flying and getting free booze! I've been totally terrified to the point of tears on a couple of my flights and nobody offered me any free liquor... sheesh!!

What a great time at the party!! That's great the MK was so empty.

Hi everyone! I bet you thought I’d had forgotten all about this TR but I haven’t. Life took priority for the past month and things have finally settled down where I can concentrate on completing this report since I have a trip in less than 20 days. So on with the show…

Day 2, Part 1: My Time at DHS and an Appearance of Another PassPorter

I woke up later than usual and I blame that on my cold medicine. After getting ready, I headed over ot Old Port Royale to grab a croissant and some orange juice, as well as a bottle of water. As I walked over the bridge, I took a couple of pictures of the resort.



After eating my breakfast quickly, I headed out to the bus stop and waited for a bus to DHS. I probbaly waited 10 minutes and was on my way. I made it through the turnstiles about 9:45pm. I headed over to ToT and RnRC. ToT had the shortest wait time so that is where I headed first. I probably waited about 10 minutes before I was on my first drop of the day. Afterwards, I headed over to RnRC and took a spot in the Single Riders line. Probably had about a 10 minute wait again before I was racing to the concert. Having knocked out those two rides, I headed up Hollywood Boulevard and saw the Big Blue Weenie.



I headed over ot the Magic of Disney Animation to see if I could get into to one of the classes to draw a character. I had just missed it so I just wandered for a bit. I found the area they set up with the cardboard Wall-E but couldn’t find a fellow traveller or CM to get my picture with him so I just grabbed a picture of the area.



I wandered the store at the exit of the attraction and then headed over to the Great Movie Ride. This was a complete walk-on for me. I was the last one they let in the cars and we were off through the movies. We had just started when my phone went off. It was Mo (statelady01) letting me know that they were in the parking lot of DHS and would meet me by the hat after I finished the ride. I lvoe this ride. The last scene where they go through all the movies is my favorite. Luckily, I didn’t have a know it all next to me. I went out and parked myself on a step and waited for a sighting of Mo, Matt, Emily, and Conner.

Within 5 minutes, I saw the Austin clan and made my way to meet them. Mo introduced me to Matt and Emily, and of course Conner. We talked for a few minutes and then Matt asked if we could ride GMR. Mo started to tell him that I had just ridden it but I told her I sure didn’t mind riding it again. We parked the stroller and made our way in. As we were walking through the cue, Matt filled me in on how Indiana Jones is his favorite movie. We walked on again and filled a row to ourselves. This was Conner’s first time on GMR as well. We made our way through the movies again and we all survived the hold up and alien encounter.

The kiddos were hungry and so was I so Mo asked where I wanted to eat. Having never eaten at Pizza Planet, I suggested there and the kiddos were more than happy to go there. We made our way there and got in line. Matt and Katie told us what they wanted and went off to find us a seat. Once we placed the order, Mo and Conner went to the table and she sent Matt back to help me. Matt gathered all the necessary silverware, napkins, and straws and led me to the elevator to head upstairs to our table. Both Emily and Matt talked to me about various things from school to Call of Duty 4. We gave the kids a dollar to go play some games and Mo and I sat and chatted while we finished up our meals. Once we finished and threw away our trash, Mo handed me Conner to say hello while she got his stroller rearranged and we headed downstairs.



We headed over to Pixar Place to see if the wait was doable for TSMM. It was showing 90 minutes and FP were way off. We decided against the wait and headed out to look in some store as there was a Woody doll that Matt and Emily were talking about wanting. As we got in front of the Hat, Mo had Matt take a picture of Emily, Mo, myself , and Conner’s foot.



After roaming through the stores, we headed out of the park as the Austin family had a birthday party to go to and I had plans to head over to EPCOT. We said good-bye with Mo telling me she would call me the next morning on when we would meet up the next day. As they headed for the parking lot, I made the wuick decision to head back to CBR to cool off and refresh before heading to EPCOT. After about an hour, I made my way to the bus stop and grabbed a bus to EPCOT rather quickly.
