| Great updates Dawn! Somehow I missed it when you started posting your actual report. But I'm all caught up now! How did you like CBR? And was the pool area refurbishment finished when you were there?

| Day 3: Spending the Day with Mo in EPCOT and EMH at MK Day 3: Spending the Day with Mo in EPCOT and EMH at MK. First, I only took one picture this whole day. The rest of the pictures are all PhotoPass. I will admit that I was just enjoying the day and not thinking about taking pictures. So now that the confession is out of the way, on with the report. I had a late morning and didn’t roll out of bed until about 10:00am. After getting ready making sure to wear my Colts gear to support my team, I headed over to Old Port Royale to grab a bottle of water and a banana. I headed to the bus stop and had time to enjoy my “breakfast” of sorts before the bus for EPCOT arrived. It was a quick trip to EPCOT from CBR and I was through security and the turnstiles before I knew it a little after 11:00am. I grabbed a ride on Spaceship Earth to start my day and ended up with the same future as before. Guess I need to make some changes to my choices. After disembarking my time capsule, I headed over to Soarin’ and waited about 40 minutes in stand-by. My banana just wasn’t very satisfying so I went and grabbed a chicken Caesar salad and a coke at Sunshine Seasons while I was in the Land Pavilion. Highly recommend this salad. I couldn’t finish it but it was really good. I started making my way to the World Showcase and got a call from Mo letting me know she should be there around 1:00pm and that she would call when she made it to the Beach Club where she was parking. I headed in the direction of Canada again and just wandered around looking in the shops. As I made my way into the United Kingdom, I knew I had to make a stop at the Toy Soldier to see if Pooh and some of his buddies were out for a meet and greet. They were on break at that moment and would be back in ten minutes. I decided to wander my way to France and look around in their shops for a bit and see if I could spot any characters. I couldn’t find anything to spend my money on so I made my way back to the UK and into the Toy Soldier. The characters were back out, so I got in the short line to have some QT with Pooh Tigger and Eeyore. Thank goodness for the Photopass guy. ![]() ![]() By the time I got done visiting, my phone was ringing again and she was on her way to the International Gateway. I told her I would grab a seat at the tables in front of the Rose and Crown and look for her. About 10 minutes later, I see Mo walking down the hill and just got up to meet her. We hugged and started walking to Mexico to start our tour around the World Showcase. We didn’t spend much time in Mexico; however, we did find a Photopass guy that was taking pictures at a wall overlooking the lagoon. ![]() After getting our photo taken, we made a beeline to the margarita stand so I could get a margarita. Mom was holding out for the Grand Marnier slushie in France. I normally go for the Fiesta but went for the Green Apple flavor only this time. We made our way to Norway and went into the shops while I enjoyed my frosty AFB. Mo found a couple of items that she was considering for her DH and I saw a couple of things myself but held off. This is a trend throughout my trip because I came home with no souvenirs other than the pin and hat I bought at MNSSHP. On we went and Mo mentioned that they had the best honey sesame chicken at the booth that was open since Nine Dragons was under rehab. She asked that if I would share and she went and ordered a helping. We went a grabbed a seat in the shade to enjoy the chicken and chat. The chicken was awesome and the conversation even better. It was so easy to talk to Mo and we just talked about a little of everything. Before we knew it, chicken was gone, margarita was gone, and we needed to hit some more countries. I grabbed another bottle of water and we were on our way. We just wandered and chatted, wandered and chatted, and wandered and chatted. We made it back to the France pavilion and went through one of the shops I didn’t go through. After the shop, we headed to that wonderful cart and Mo got her Grand Marnier slushie. I passed as apparently the margarita and my cold medicine were not interacting very well. (Yes I know the package tells me not to mix alcohol with the medicine. I forgot I had taken it with my banana that morning). We made our way over to Canada as Off Kilter was getting ready to perform. She missed a phone call and went to return it as I sat and enjoyed the performance. It was rather hot so I went and stood behind the bench underneath an umbrella. Mo returned and we decided to grab a Coke “on tap” at the Yorkshire Fish Shop before heading over to the UK for a performance of the British Invasion. We grabbed our drinks and found a piece of payment to call our own and waited for them to start. We just continued to chat and take it all in. Apparently the shows were not guaranteed to take place as the 3:30pm show did not happen. We waited around a bit more and found out that the next show was schedule to begin at 4:20pm. We decided to stick it out as she told me one of the members had been replaced and wanted to hear what I thought in regards to how they sounded. The show finally started and I just took the sounds in. I have to admit, compared to the last time I sat and listened to one of their shows in full (2006), they didn’t sound as together as before. It could’ve been the new guy and them not used to performing together. It just wasn’t’ the same to me. Hopefully, it will be better in November. Mo concurred in my thinking I believe. We didn’t finish the set and headed out of the UK. As we were leaving, a Photopass guy grabbed Mo’s attention and she called me over. I handed off my card and more pictures ensued. ![]() We had to make our way back to Mexico as we had dinner reservations at San Angel Inn. We got there in time to check-in and waited on a bench until our buzzie thing went off. We were seated at a table near the right side of the restaurant as you are looking at the pyramid. We ordered our drinks and perused the menu for our dinner choices. I know Mo picked Pollo A Las Rajas (grilled chicken breast served over red peppers, onion strips, cream sauce, and fresh cheese) and I went with the Empanada appetizer. We decided we would split and share our choices. We munched on the chips and salsa and continued our chatting as we had all afternoon. Our meals arrived, and I think we both enjoyed what we had chosen. I have to admit though; the menu had changed a lot since December 2007, the last time. There were a lot more seafood choices and stuff with duck. Mo grabbed the bill and paid for dinner ( again Mo!) and we headed back toward the International Gateway. Mo needed to head out and I was heading over to the MK for EMH. I decided to walk to the Beach Club with her and just grab a bus to MK. We said good-bye, hugged, and promised that we would find a way to see each other when I returned in November. She went towards valet and I headed toward the bus stops. While I was waiting for the bus, Amy called and we arranged a time to meet at AK the next morning as she was joining me for breakfast. After those plans were decided upon, I called Chuck and checked in to see how he was doing. He had been texting me the scores of the Colts game and we were not doing that great. He filled me on the awful happenings. A bus was pulling up so I said bye to my hubby and climbed aboard. I made it to the Magic Kingdom after an enjoyable journey. After getting through security and the turnstiles, I took out my lanyard to hold me KTTW card so I wouldn’t have to go digging for it during EMH. I made sure to stop and get a couple of Photopass pictures in front of the Mickey Pumpkin in front of the train station. ![]() I went up Main Street and headed into Fantasyland. I knocked out the Pooh ride, Mickey’s Philharmagic, and It’s a Small World and then made my way into Frontierland. Along the way, I ran into Janine. I asked if she wanted to ride POTC with me and she agreed. As we were walking, she handed me a little bag that had an Eeyore beanie dressed as a black cat for Halloween. I had seen him at the Disney Store but passed on buying him. I gave her a hug and thanked her for my little gift. (He’s in the midst of my Eeyores in my bookcase of Eeyores. ) We practically walked on and were on a boat sailing the seas. The Davy Jones was not working that night but it’s still one of my favorites. After the ride, we walked through Adventureland and she was headed over to Tomorrowland and believe it or not, I was headed out. My cold was taking over that evening. I went through the Emporium to see if there was anything I had to get on this trip and came out empty handed. I grabbed a bottle of water at one of the carts and headed out to the bus stops. I hate that I didn’t get much accomplished that evening, but I had an early morning and this gave me plenty of time to pack and get a decent amount of sleep. And here is my one and only picture that I took the whole day. ![]() I headed to the bus stops and waited about 15 minutes for a bus. I was headed to my “home” in Jamaica for one more night. I got off at the Old Port Royale stop and wandered through the gift shop and then grabbed a drink and a piece of chocolately goodness to take back to my room. I walked over the bride, up the stairs, and was in the coolness of my room before I knew it. I took a shower, proceeded to pack, and placed a call to Bell Services to come pick my luggage up to store the next morning before I headed over to AK. I saw the last quarter of Sunday Night Football before I finally dozed off. Coming Up: My Morning with Amy at AK and My Trip Home

| I am glad you slept in a bit and hope your cold didn't bother you too much as the day went on. BTW....what is it with you, colds and Disney....didin't your DL end with a cold, too? I hope you are binging on vitamin C before this month's trip! What a great day at Epcot, touring and munching with Mo! You managed to accomplish a fair amount at MK EMH afterwards. Sorry your solo trip is winding down.... danielle
