| Day 1, Part 1 First a big thanks to Tiff for posting the live updates for me. buddy!Day 1, Part 1: And Off I Go…. My flight wasn’t until 1:00pm so I was able to sleep in a bit and actually get a decent night’s sleep before heading to WDW. Chuck bestowed a cold upon me 3 days before so I was fighting the end affects of that. Once I got up and moving, I got ready, finished packing, and got the luggage in the trunk. Chuck had taken the day off so he was able to take me to the airport. He thought the airport would be packed and wanted to get me there by 11:00am and so he did. Hug and kisses to my hubby, and I was on my way. I got checked in without an issue and made it through security with ease. I got a drink to pass the 90 minutes I had before they started boarding.I had an A39 boarding pass so I was able to grab a row towards the back of the plane. Everyone boarded and no one had joined me in my row. As we touched down and were taxiing to the gate, I grabbed a pic to send to Tiff to show her I had arrived.![]() We landed about 10 minutes early. I made my normal dash to a bathroom and then headed over to DME. Even though I could have carried on both my bags, I checked my main suitcase as I didn’t want to deal with it. I had my change of clothes on me for the party. I was directed to Line 6 for CBR and waited maybe five minutes before being shown to a bus. I decided to grab one more self-portrait on the bus. ![]() CBR was the first stop so I was at the Customs House before I knew it. I got in line and started having a coughing attack. I got it under control until I was called up to check in. I think the CM thought I was dying. I ran to the water fountain and got some water as I knew that would cure it. I made it back to the CM and she was thankful it had ended as well. She got me all checked in, showed me where I was, and directed me to the internal shuttle to get to my building. I had requested Aruba or Jamaica on my original reservation and I was put in the best building in Jamaica. It was building 45 on the second floor. This is the building that is directly by the bridge over to Old Port Royale. Once I found my room, I realized I had been given one of the corner rooms with two windows! Here are some pics of the room. ![]() ![]() I immediately got changed into my t-shirt for MNSSHP and headed to the bus stop to catch a bus to the MK. My tummy was really growling something fierce so dinner was first on the agenda. A bus arrived in about 15 minutes and I was off to the party! Coming up: How many characters will I see???
