| Just caught up on all your wonderful updates Amy... I love the shots of the kids on their way to the castle...I also like choice A on the Mimi running towards the castle shot as I felt the first one had a bit more motion in it...(they were both great however). Mimi is just so cute at her birthday breakfast...(even though she did not want to wear her beautiful floral wreath Sounds like a wonderful birthday celebration, you got all her favorites done, had time for a break and then a wonderful meal at LTT (seeing the characters made me so sad however thinking they will not be there anymore). Glad that Mimi was able to celebrate them with them for her birthday one last time. What a wonderful ending to your day with a giant Mickey to join the party...can't wait to hear more.

| Finally catching up and reading your report. I'm loving it. It seems like alot of what's happening to you; happened to me too! I had our WDW vacation all planned out in my head and my expectations of what Jimmy would want to do and I was completely WRONG! But kids will be kids and it's obvious that both of yours were having a blast. I can't wait to read more!

| So, I just found YOUR TR, after you've been so graciously commenting on MINE. I haven't made it all the way through, but I do have some observations on what I've read thus far: 1. Mimi being hugged by Mickey reminds me of when I try to hug my cat but she wants nothing to do with me. (GERRROFFF ME!!!) 2. Mimi+Wall-E = Molly's new BFF's. 3. I'm noticing a trend here - Roo getting all the sweet ladieeez - you may want to tell every parent of a little girl his age to lock their daughters up. I'm just sayin'. 4. I don't blame Roo for being obsessed with his sprinkly doughnut. They're awesome. And I'll bite your hand if you try to take mine away! 5. I HATE having to wait for the check. That's always the WORST part of any meal, because at that point, you're done eating, the smell of food is slightly sickening, and you want to get the lead out! BRING ME MY CHECK NOWNOWNOW!!! 6. I don't personally understand how you managed to survive on so little sleep. First of all, if I don't get a minimum 12 hours a day, I'm not pleasant to be around. (Oh, who am I kidding, I'm rarely pleasant to be around). Secondly, I would start moaning, twitching, and gnawing on body parts (because I would be a ZOMBEEEEE!). So, I guess it's lucky for everyone at WDW that you can survive on a "nap," because I would hate to hear that the zombie outbreak started with you. 7. Mimi attacking the camera before Pooh's ride reminded me of King Kong swatting down airplanes. 8. Mimi liking Pooh so much makes me want to rethink my BFF status with her. 9. That Minnie Witch Hat is da bomb diggety, yo! I WANT ONE NOWNOWNOW! Send it with my check! 10. Roo's Spanish Monorail shirt is the BEST! I wanted one sooo bad when I visited Trav in September, but he refused to get it. I'm glad someone has good fashion sense! 11. You and Roo hugging it out at DHS was so cute I wanted to vomit. Please, think of my gag reflex and refrain from any more of these type pictures. 12. And Dave videotaping all the rides/shows? I know what he's really doing with those movies - bootleggin' 'em on the mean streets of NJ, that's what. And to say it's for Mimi - shameless!

| Just catching up, Amy. Mimi is certainly having a magical birthday celebration. Glad she's loosening up a bit with the characters. Sorry she didn't like the floral wreath (but the picture of her with it on, with a giant pout - it!). Also love the shot of her checking out the partners statue. And Roo and Jasmine - so sweet! More, please!

| 9/30/08 - Our Seventh Day - THE GRANDMAS DEPART/THE MOVE TO WL/MICKEY'S NOT SO SCARY HALLOWEEN PARTY - Part One We hadn't planned much for Day 7. It was the day that (as the title says, but hey I'm big on stating the obvious, hence my superhero moniker "Stating the Obvious Girl") the Grandma's were both departing, the day we switched to Wilderness Lodge AND the night that we were attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. No. That's not much. One thing I forgot to add in the 9/29 report: That night I went to the POR gift shop and bought each Grandma a picture frame, putting in the photo that we got from our Royal Table Breakfast the day before as a thank you gift. It was agreed that after breakfast we'd split up. My Mom and I would spend some time alone with Mimi at Downtown Disney (my Mom didn't have a park ticket for this day) while Dave and his Mom would head over to Magic Kingdom with Roo. Kind of. Since we were switching resorts, the day went down like this: EARLY morning: wake up and finish frantic packing. Dave calls bell services for us and for the Grandmas. They pick up the luggage. Meet for breakfast. Roo is getting burned out on the over-stimulation and freaks out on everyone at the table. Dave's MIL has a freaky out panic attack because she doesn't have enough room in her suitcase for the photo frame (Dave told me he thought that her freak out was strange because she bought herself two shirts that afternoon which she magically fit into her suitcase. I get overwhelmed easily at World of Disney. I love to shop there, but I get over-stimulated and it only takes about 35 minutes before the claustrophobia kicks in. But I handled myself well... I actually managed to be in the store for an hour before I literally had to get out or suffer what felt like brain hemmoraging. I bought a lot of stuff, and had it all shipped to Wilderness Lodge! Woo hoo! Love that package shipping nonsense. ![]() After shopping, we let Mimi out of the stroller to run free. She liked the dancing fountain, but was intimidated by the big boys who were rough housing in them. Two of the boys disappeared after the big one pushed the little down. Their Mommy wasn't too happy: ![]() Mimi takes tentative steps: ![]() After a pretzel, some juice and a little playtime for the girl, we went back to the dock to board the POR boat. Mimi had to have her princesses opened immediately: ![]() They sparkled! She couldn't decide which one she liked most of all: ![]() We went back to POR and Mom got her luggage. We said teary goodbyes, and I got a cab to go to WL while Mom caught the DME back to MCO and Detroit Metro. Mimi and I were exhausted when we checked in and got our room key, so we just went right to the room and napped. We were so tired, she just snuggled next to me on the bed and we fell asleep together. We woke up when the boys came back. I found out that they rode Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Carousel of Progress, Tomorrowland Speedway and Stitch's Great Escape, and had Casey's hot dogs. NO PICTURES! We had dinner ressies at Whispering Canyon Cafe at dinner opening, 5 p.m. After exploring every nook and cranny of our room, we spent some time in the Wilderness Lodge GIFT SHOP! Woo hoo! GIFT SHOP! Here is Mimi. Move over, Heidi Klum: ![]() ![]() EVERYTHING YOU CAN DO, I CAN DO BETTER: ![]() We walked away with an itemized list of all the souvies we wanted. It was a long list. Then off we went to wait in the lobby for the WCC dinner service. Roo made a little friend. Well, that is... until the little friend decided he wanted to play with Roo's cars without asking: ![]() Some of you are wondering why Mimi is dressed the way she is. Yes. Those are napping clothes. She was wearing a pretty dress earlier and I didn't want her to sleep in it so I changed her into napping clothes. Since we were getting dressed for MNSSHP right after supper, I figured... you know... it was more work than it was worth: ![]() Roo playing with his favorite toys: ![]() Dave taping Mimi's antics: ![]() Roo has no idea what is going on around him other than who is beating who is the race of the century: ![]() STOP TAKING MY PICTURE! I AM HUNGRY! I WANT KETCHUP! ![]() Staaaaaaa-ooooooooooo-op iiiiiiiiiiiit: ![]() The only family member in a good mood: ![]() We're goin' to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! WOO HOO!!!! PS. I haven't been able to locate the shirt I'm wearing in this picture since our return from the parks. Hummmm... to ride the pony or not to ride the pony. That is the question: ![]() In our next feature: Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party aka. Why Alice BLOWS.
