| Great start! That section of I-95 gets to me too- especially since most of it is in MD, where I live. So I drive it frequently...

| We continued driving through Florida, stopping for gas between Sanford and Orlando on I-4, then finishing our journey just after 6PM at our destination, the Nick Hotel.       After checking-in at the front desk and receiving our information packet, we drove around to building 2 and unloaded the car. Our “Home” for the next 3 nights, room 239  View of our front door, living room window and bedroom window  View of the walkway outside of our room  View from the walkway outside of our door  Living Room Sofa from the front door  Table/Kitchenette/bathroom door from front door  Living room, from the bedroom “hallway”  Bathroom  Kids Room    Parents Room     We were all settled by 7:30, and Margaret and the boys went down to the main pool while I snuck a peak at weather.gov from the laptop and noticed the 5-day track for Hurricane Fay had it heading towards us. I changed into my swimwear and met Margaret at the pool, where I promptly ordered two drinks of the day to help us unwind from the tedious day on the road and to officially begin our vacation! The boys swam and had buckets of water dumped on them from the huge water play area for about an hour before we headed back to our room. We got changed, then went back to the mall area and shared a couple Pizza Hut personal pizzas and let the boys play in the arcade for a little while. We were back in the room by 11 and lights were out quickly thereafter. For those of you trying to keep score at home about the accuracy of my predictions, here are the original posts for travel days 1&2 from my Time-Warp Trip Report. | Looks like a great room Rob!! We might have to stay there one of these days. The kids would have been thrilled with the Fairy Oddparents room!!
