| Awesome start to your TR, and your vacation! The Nick hotel looks like a lot of fun. You are brave to ride that coaster. (I can hardly look at your pictures without feeling my hairs stand up straight!) Looks like quite a thrill! Come back with more soon!

| The Nick Hotel sounds like a cool place to stay, and great start to your seaworld day! None of us did Kraken or Journey to Atlantis this summer- the twins aren't 54 inches yet, and neither Simone nor Maddy wanted to try them. Maybe next year.. |

| I can answer this one. Rob chooses not to ride Dumbo as a matter of principle. Just like he chooses not to go on The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh because it took the place of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. Rob will ride almost anything, but has his limits when it comes to spinning rides.

| Upon exiting Clyde and Seamore, we met up with Margaret, where she informed us that she was able to secure a 5pm reservation for Sharks Grill, and filled us in on the “rope drop” that occurred at 10am for reservations. Apparently, the reservation booth is in an area of the park that doesn’t open until 10am, so a group of people waited with her at the rope until 10am, then, when the rope dropped, a few of them proceeded to dash ahead of the rest of the group so they could be first in line. She was amused by the action, since there was only about 20-30 people waiting to make reservations. ![]() Our next big thing to do was the 11:30 BELIEVE! Show, and it was only 10:30, so we wandered over to the feeding pool and watched the rays and sharks swimming around. ![]() ![]() ![]() We then proceeded into the shark display. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() From there we headed left and proceeded towards the Anheuser-Busch Hospitality Center, passing by the Believe! NASCAR race car that Jimmie Johnson drove in a race a year or two ago. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() MMMM…..BEER! ![]() ![]() The Budweiser Donkey! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We walked into the Hospitality center, where we all grabbed some liquid refreshment – the boys opted for soda, Margaret sampled a Bud Light Lime and I chose a cup of Michelob Amber Bock. MMMMM! After grabbing our refreshments, we went to the arcade next door and let the boys play a few games before heading into Shamu Stadium for Believe! We must be in the Front Row! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() SPLASH ZONE! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Surfin’ ![]() ![]() Backflip! ![]() Ta-da! ![]() The show is phenomenal, and is awe-inspiring. It’s much better than the show that was running on my last visit there in 2002. After the show, we headed over to Shamu’s Happy Harbor, where the boys rode some of the tamer rides and played around in the three-story play area for a short while. Margaret and Joseph waiting for the coaster. ![]() Left to Right – Joseph, Nicholas waving and Margaret’s arm. ![]() Joseph ![]() Margaret and daredevil Nicholas’ hand ![]() Bottom Left – Nicholas; Top Left – Joseph ![]() The Flying Fiddler ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() When the boys had had enough of those ride, Joseph’s stomach was settled, so he wanted to ride Kraken. Margaret took them over there while I went back to the car to lighten the load in our backpack. On the way back from the car, I took the following pictures of the entrance area. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() After passing through the gate, I took a shot of the construction wall for the new coaster…. ![]() …before stopping at the Sea World Keys ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I then made my way over towards Kraken to meet up with the rest of my family. ![]() ![]() Joseph’s arm (yellow wristband) ![]() My upside-down family (third row from the back) ![]() My screaming family: ![]() ![]() ![]() And their ride photo: ![]() I think I’ve tired your eyes out with this photo-laden installment, so I’m going to break here. UP NEXT: Sea World Afternoon – Snack, Sky Tower and Sharks Grill
