| … I met back up with the family after they were done their second ride of Kraken . For those keeping score at home, the tally so far is: Nicholas – 4 rides Margaret - 3 rides Joseph – 2 rides Rob – 2 rides We then headed back over towards Shamu Stadium, where we stopped for some pictures ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Before heading into Penguin Encounter. This exhibit was pretty neat, especially during the mid-day heat. Gotta love that Arctic air-conditioning! We then went back over to the Hospitality Center for a light lunch (and some more free beer Kraken: ![]() ![]() ![]() Shamu Stadium: ![]() ![]() ![]() Aquatica: ![]() Journey to Atlantis (foreground); Aquatica (background): ![]() Parking Lot: ![]() Zoom-shot of our car: ![]() Spot-shadow: ![]() (Just wanted to show our spot – the first row of cars parked in the lot….yeah, we were there pretty early…..) Manta construction site: ![]() We then watched the pearl divers for a little bit then headed back over towards Sharks Grill for our dinner reservation. We checked in early, and they told us we’d have about 20 minutes to wait, so we busied ourselves by feeding the rays and sharks in the pool outside the restaurant. SLIMY! ![]() ![]() We were called to the check-in desk within about 15 minutes, and were seated. ![]() ![]() ![]() The boys order Blue Lemonsharks for their drink (blue raspberry lemonade), while Margaret ordered an iced tea and I had a large Landshark Lager. We shared an appetizer of shrimp bruschetta. ![]() While waiting for our entrees to arrive, Joseph and Nicholas walked to the glass and snapped some pictures of the shark tank. Here are a few of the shots they captured: ![]() ![]() ![]() Joseph had the Grilled Chicken Breast with Honey Glaze. ![]() Nicholas ordered the Popcorn Shrimp ![]() I had the Shark’s Trio, which was scallops, shrimp and a tuna steak with risotto. I ordered it blackened. ![]() Margaret had the special of the day – shrimp with pasta. ![]() Everything we had to eat was wonderful and was just the right portion, too. UP NEXT: Sea World After Dark! ….and… THIS GUY ROCKS!!! ![]()

| Your meals look yummy! Years ago Ohio had their own SeaWorld in Aurora. I remember taking DS there with his grandparents when he was about 3 years old. He'll be 26 next week. Where have all the years gone? Cherish these years with your boys cause they sure grow up fast. Looking forward to more of your trip! |
