| Good start. I don't think you could go wrong with either CSR or POFQ but with a baby you might want to go with smaller resort. Less schlepping of baby stuff. As for the meal plan, you guys will have to decide how many TS you are going to do. You will be there for an extended stay and you might get tired of QS every meal. I would get the regular plan and do Mickey's BBQ and a few character meals and the rest QS. Have fun planning.

| Hey Matt My DH stayed at CSR for a conference last year and he has raved about it. He really wanted to stay there for our trip last week, but I wanted a room with two queens. Well now that CSR has queens, I am ready to stay there myself. He said the pool is great! The best he has seen so far... Good luck with all the planning! We have booked a trip for the end of the June with the 7 for 4 deal and I am looking forward to planning another trip over the next 6 months! Debbie Last edited by guarn3md; 12-03-2008 at 10:14 PM.. | Glad to see a early start! I actually stayed at CSR about a year ago. I really liked that hotel and the pool was amazing! I dont know if i'd stay at the swan or dolphin because i've heard its not very "disney". So, i dunno....i think it would depend on what youre looking for in your resort. Cant wait to hear more!

| To Dining plan or not dining plan...that is the question. Okay, I'm going to jump ahead and discuss food options I do have the ridiculously named "Tables in Wonderland" card. Should I just stick with that card and not get on the dining plan or should I choose a dining plan. One advantage of just using the card is that I don't feel pressured into a certain number of meals but I am curious if the dining plan is cheaper. Thanks for any advice!

| I'll put in my vote for CSR. Because it is a convention center, it seems to be a quieter resort, and the bus service is phenomenal. We never waited more than 10 minutes for a bus to the parks. Can't help you with the dining options, we've always used the DDP (because its not a Disney trip without character meals), but we don't go often enough to warrant a DDE card. Jill

| You'll have to do the math yourself to figure out if the DDE card is a better option. Look at the menus on AllEars and try to figure out where you'd eat and what you'd eat. Then compare the TIW discount to the meal plan. However, if you don't want to feel committed to eating a TS every day, then the TIW card is probably a better deal since it allows you more flexibility!

| I just love the planning phase of any trip especially Disney! We stayed at POFQ in 2005 and loved it so much we decided to stay there again in 2009! It is a small resort and would be perfect for a family with small children. We use the dining plan because of the many options it provides for meals. I don't think I could eat counter service meals over and over all week. Have fun with your planning. That's half the fun, don't you think so?

| I agree - figure out how many table service meals you're looking at and then go from there. If you plan on a lot, then the Dining Plan may be better.

| without the TIW card for me the option was def the dining plan...but with that card i think you might have to do the math. I just felt like with the dining plan I had a lot more food options but without that I did not have any discounts. You could just do an average day and times that by the number of days youre there and see what you get...good luck
