| Today is June 12, 2009....only 8 days to go!!! June 12, 2006 – The “Sounds Like Summer Epcot Concert Series” began in Epcot at the American Gardens Theatre. No special occasions in the family today...I know, shocking!  My mom has the two youngest kids for a short vacation and Jacob is in school all day so I am doing as much laundry and packing as I can without leaving my family with nothing to wear for the next 8 days...it's a delicate balance!!  Oh, and as an aside...any Yankees fans out there....can you say "SWEEP"??? 8-0 against the big bad machine from NY this season!! Gotta love my boys of summer!!!

| ONE WEEK!!! ONE WEEK!!!! Today is June 13, 2009....only 7 DAYS TO GO!!!!!! Wow,, not a lot o park happenings in Disney History for this dae but I did find this little tid-bit... June13, 2005 - Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Florida welcomed its one-millionth athlete Dessire Wilkerson, a 13-year-old girl’s volleyball player from the Kentucky Indiana Volleyball Academy. I got absolutely no packing done yesterday, I was too busy cleaning the house while there were no little ones around to instantly mess it up!! Hopefully today and tomorrow I can get the bulk of it done!! We have a busy, busy week with school plays, field trips and end of the year school events!

| I made some serious progress today!! I managed to get us mostly packed, minus the things we will need this week. and of course minus Kevin's clothes because, ladies, we all know men...he is going to wait until the last possible minute to pack his suff. Does he do it because he's a procrastinator? because he needs the stuff this week? OR because he just likes to see how close to the edge he can push his overly organized wife?? I don't think we'll ever know really!! I also paid all the bills, was able to stop the mail and newspapaer (who knew you could do that stuff on-line??!!), designed the kids ID tags (I need to get them laminated tomorrow...we do a luggage tag type thing and attach it to their belt loop each day. We design them "business cards" Ian's is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Meg's is the Princesses and Jake's is Clone Wars), confirmed our ADR's, activated the Disney Rewards Card, and did all the laundry in the house!! Boy, I'm tired!  Hopefully these next 6 1/2 days will fly by! Tuesday is Jacob's class play, Wednesday is Jacob's much anticipated field trip to the zoo, Thursday is jammed packed starting with breakfast at school, Tae Kwon Do belt testing (Jake's going for his orange belt!) Meg's swim test (to see if she can move up a level) and my big event to introduce myself to the Chamber of Commerce and try and drum up some event business  . Friday, we have the school's field day, I organize the day for the school and we have been planning it all year! We rent a rock climbing wall and bounce houses for the kids and all the parents come and have a picnic lunch in the park! Due to all the snow days we had to plan it late this year with no option for a rain date so PIXIES PLEASE  for NO RAIN  :  on FRIDAY!!! It would be a huge bummer for the kids! Oh my! Just typing that out made me tired! I have a feeling that I'm going to need a vacation by the end of the week...oh wait...I HAVE ONE!!!!!

| Good work getting so much done yesterday. Sounds like it will help you out by the end of the week!! And what a busy week it is too, holy cow. Good thing you've got a vacation at the end of it!
