So glad you're back to updating...Big Congrats on the Masters! I'm enjoying your pics from Toy Story Mania...we never got to ride it on our trip in April. My three year old and I waited in line for 25 minutes when he decided he had to go to the bathroom! Ugh! Great scores! Looking forward to more!

Just got caught up with your last few updates and you sure accomplished a lot in a couple of days!!! I loved that you and Andy had some alone time on the boat over to the MK! Congrats on your Masters Melissa. That is quite an accomplishment and you had a great reason to be celebrating at WDW! Loved how the HM CM wrote on your celebrating button It was so sweet of Andy to hide the Easter eggs in your hotel room and have the Easter Basket filled with goodies for you! He sure is a gem. You certainly don't look like a "mom" either Melissa! Not quite sure what that CM was thinking when he said that! You and Andy still look like newlyweds together. Can't wait for more.

This update short and not sweet as this night was cut short thanks to some Chinese Ice Cream
What? huh? What's she talking about? You'll see.

Brandi and I had been talking throughout the day (while she was at work and after) about how the rain sucked. But in keeping an eye on the weather we finally decided it would be dry enough to head out for our dinner at Nine Dragons. It was also an EMH night so Andy and I were going to stick around afterwards and do some FW stuff.

The Bakers arrived at ASMo and there were some verbal punches thrown between Andy Loflin and Brandi Baker Andy had ragged her about wearing a Disney shirt or a Beatles shirt so she wore a plain solid shirt and was quick to point it out

Pretty soon we were on our way to Epcot. We walked to China and checked in at Nine Dragons, everyone very excited to eat. Brandi and Pom LOVE this place and well, we just love Chinese food. Andy had the General Tso's appetizer and the Honey Sesame Chicken. I had the special meal deal that they have and had soup which was very very tasty, the honey sesame chicken, and .....unfortunately for me....the strawberry bean chinese ice cream. Everything was very very good....at the time.....

After dinner we walked around the WS until we ended up in the UK.


We copped a squat for a show...

And acted really stupid while we waited.....
We watched a BI show and Andy showed off some sweet dance moves.... Brandi I gif'd this just for you!


It was while we were sitting here that I started to feel a bit crummy. But I was okay, I'd be fine......
We decided no more BI and instead opted for Nemo. We Nemo I stopped off by the restroom in the UK and pretend all was well....But by the time we made it Canada, I thought I might die. I stopped off at that restroom and thus officially began my tour of Epcot bathroom style.

Poor Andy and the Bakers. They waited on me for what felt like forever to me while I was in the bathroom... I finally reemerged....feeling somewhat better for the moment. We continued our way around to Nemo but I had to stop yet again at the bathroom at the back of Innoventions I think it was.....right across from the Land.............

Another eternity later I came out and we all decided that hey, it happens to all of us.... sometimes that Chinese Ice Cream isn't so good to folks. So they made me feel better in my head but my belly was none the wiser. We decided it was time to head back but before we could make it I had to find another stop on my tour. Thank God for Brandi and Pom because they know where EVERY bathroom is and she directed me to the closest one which was in Character Chaos. I blew past those crazies in line and found the restroom. A little bit later Brandi's voice called out to check on me Apparently she had been quizzing Andy as to what we could to help and he told her that I tend to have stomach problems (and I've discovered it must have been that ice cream b/c now lately ice cream tears me up for some reason...am I getting old???) He told her that I could probably use some immodium, which I take like candy sometimes.... He went to find some but no luck. She then remembered she had some God knows how old immodium in her bag so sets off to bring it to me. At this point Epcot was closed and it was EMH. When Brandi tried to go through Character Chaos she got stopped by a CM who wanted to see her resort ID....she let him have it and was all "My friend is in there and she's sick and I'm taking her some medicine" and with that I like to picture her pushing the CM over, hopping the velvet rope, and coming to my aid It did help though. Just long enough to get my sick self back to the ASMo. After a night's rest and after my tummy kicked out that Chinese Ice Cream I was good as gold, so no worries. But even still, how embarrassing!! I facebooked Brandi with my status and said something to the extent of "You know you've reached a new level of friendship with you share your immodium" Something like that..... And yes, even still, I get ragged by Pom and Andy about Chinese Ice Cream and my tour of the Epcot bathrooms....

Coming up: Back to the scene of the crime....and lunch with a rat!

Oh to say I relate to that story would be the understatement of the year.
How sweet of Brandi to trample a CM to bring you some medicine....that's friendship.

Hey, nobody was going to keep me away from my poor little Melissa. See, I pictured you all curled up fetal position like in a corner stall in that bathroom. It was heart-breaking, to say the least. I'm really not sure how old that Immodium really was, but as long as it did the trick momentarily, I guess no harm was done!

Yep, our friendship reached a new level that night. And I am no longer allowing you to eat ice cream on my watch!

Whoa, what a way to spend an evening at EPCOT. My DBinL had a similar experience all over WDW until we got home from a trip in 1987 He found out he had celiac disease and couldn't/shouldn't have anything with gluten.

Sorry you have to stay away from ice cream, any other milk products set you off?
