| What a nice birthday dinner you had for Chris!!! Sorry about the cranky stair man and the bar closed guy! I agree about closing all the shops so early in Epcot. Sounds like the heat was really getting to you. |

| Great update! I don't blame you for going off on that guy on the stairs! I'd done the same thing! Remember, you heard Sue/Cheryl/Karen/Angie and especially Steve(he's so loud people! of the group. That's my story.

| Great updates!! How cool to be part of the backstage tour show! I would so love to do that. Hmmm...maybe this trip?? And what a nice birthday celebration evening. We LOVED Flying Fish Cafe the one time we ate there. I have to say I has asparagus soup there with lump crabmeat on top and it might have been one of the best things I think I have ever eaten. ![]()

| Wonderful meal at Flying Fish (one of my favs) and wonderful pics of y'all too! Was I dreaming? I seem to remember a time when you could go to the bakery in Norway AFTER Illuminations and get dessert. Much more civilized!

| Great update. Sorry about the agravations though. Why do the servers always act like it's the first time that they've had to serve a surprise cake? I'm sure they serve at least 5 a day but still they act like it's a surprise to them. Why do all of the CS's except MK's close right at or an hour before park closing? Makes no sense to me either. Your new siggy looks stunning.

| This was supposed to be our last day -- but that all changed. Now we could play at AK and head home the following day!! We got up and headed to DAK to join the crew for a Guides meet, and then partake of some of the day's planned events before saying our "good evenings". We started out with photos in front of the Tree of Life - ![]() And a quick ride on Everest - ![]() We took a few photos before heading to find something for breakfast before the guide meet - ![]() ![]() We arrived at the tip board a little early and grabbed some breakfast - while we were eating, Sabine arrived and sat with us until the rest of the guides arrived. It was so great to get to sit and talk with her, and I was glad to hear that Manuel was recovering nicely from his unscheduled surgery. After a little time - Guides and invited Guests began to gather, and we posed for some photopass pics. ![]() ![]() After our photo session, we took the BEST Safari ride EVER!!! Afterward, we walked the treks - and Chris took my favorite photo of the trip - ![]() And we got some up close time with the Gorillas - some of the most interactive i've seen. ![]() After the Guide meet - some of us headed over to everest... ![]() After our quick drop off Everest - we headed over to meet up for the Trivia meet - and we all headed to Dinoland - ![]() Ann, Dawn and Sara ![]() Tina strikes a pose (I think I shot this over Cheryl's shoulder) ![]() Dave, Wendy, Sheri, Amy, Dawn and Jennifer And then Dawn arranged a Magical Moment for all of us - we learned to "Walk the Dinosaur" ![]() I even think there are a few pics of me "doing the dino" ![]() And here is the proof!! Somehow Chris managed to NOT be in any of the photos... Then the whole group headed to the safari - and we took up 2 vehicles... and had some up close time with the giraffes. ![]() ![]() We saw the elephants too! ![]() And the white rhino - we were doing great on the big animal front! And this is where my photos stop After our safari - the group gathered to grade our trivia sheets - and Chris and I won AGAIN!! This time we won a Goofy mug (now we have Goofy and Stitch...) - as well as a Mickey throw for scoring the most points on all the trivia challenges. We had such fun with those!! We said our goodbyes and headed to check in to the AKL. I really like AKL - and had hoped to stay at Kadani Village - but only Jambo House was available. That was ok with us - we had a standard view room - overlooking the pool. We decided to get some sun and walk around - we had agreed to meet Peggy and Janine for dinner at Boma - so we investigated the savannahs for awhile, and texted back and forth with Janine about their location. They arrived and added us to their reservation. We had such a good time talking and chatting and eating (it was Chris' first time at Boma too!) that NONE of us took pictures.... All too soon dinner was over - and the girls were headed out (I don't remember where) and we were headed to the pool and spa for some grownup alone time. On the way out we saw Ann, Lesley, Sharon, Vanessa, Tanya and Heather (I think I got everyone, if not - my apologies). It was great to see everyone one last time. We relaxed in the zero entry pool, and in the very warm hot tubs. We also enjoyed the animals on the savannah near the pool. After pool time, we headed up to the room, and headed to bed. We'd had a busy day and were in need to rest. Next - the last day... Already?
