Stefanie and I headed straight to the movie theater after school as the matinee started at 4:15. We bought our tickets; she got her own so she could use the gift card from her birthday. I called Luke to let him know we had the tickets in hand, and then we sat down on a bench to await his arrival. About 5 minutes before the movie began, he showed up and then the hunt was on for a seat. It's funny how folks won't move closer together to leave seats available for more than one person. We eventually found two and Stefanie sat on my lap for the whole movie. Not many moms can still hold their 23 year child on their laps for an entire movie, but she actually kept me warm as the theater was a bit chilly.

Afterwards, we headed to Tumbleweed for dinner where Stefanie and I shared a bourbon glazed pork chop and rice (her absolute favorite meal here). While eating Luke asked if we needed to pick up anything for the trip. When it didn't seem like I could think of anything, he mentioned that he'd like to get some Fiber One stuff for breakfasts at the villa, and then I remembered that he had also stated early that all his sports socks were in bad shape and he would like some new ones before Disney. So next stop was Target. Stefanie discovered some really sort of metallic Disney scrapbooking stickers that she and I just had to get. I will be doing a new WDW some time next month. Luke found his socks and we got Fiber One oat bars and pop tarts. Then I wanted to go to Pier One to pick up a few small gift items. By that time we were getting tired after a very busy work week, so going home sounded very good. In fact Luke is napping on the couch now.

Tomorrow, we are going to sign up for the vacation package with our local newspaper (Luke will read everything we miss while on vacation, while I'll just skim them for the big stuff.) We'll also sign up for the hold on our mail while on vacation. And we'll do some house cleaning, so I don't have too much to do during the week. I'm hoping the weather holds out so we can finally mulch the flower beds, too, before we head off to Florida.
