| Congrats on the FPs to MY favorite ride! And how fun to be given the opportunity to bestow FPs on two others. You gave that couple a magical moment, you know! There's nothin' better than passing along the magic. ![]()

| I've never seen this movie, but I did a google search and it is the song she is named for, an old Scottish tune. I love the song and knew it way before our Annie Laurie was born.

| What a great way to start the day with FPs being handed to you. And then to pass them onto someone else and make their day. | ||||

Glad you were able to pass along a little magic with the extra fast passes. And congrats on your October trip. I can't wait to hear Stefanie's reaction.

| Wow, how cool. Fastpasses from the bus driver. That would be so neat. I wonder how he got them. Sounds like a fun time in DHS. Can't wait to hear about dinner but the storm sounds ominous. Congrats on another trip so soon. Looking forward to more. Hurry back.

| Tuesday, June 16 Part 2 Tuesday, June 16 Part 2 We arrived shortly at the Magic Kingdom, took a walk down Main Street that brought us to The Plaza Restaurant where we sat patiently outside for about 20 minutes before we were called inside. And then it was back to the sweet A/C and food. For our meals, Stefanie had Mickey’s Turkey Sandwich with fries, Luke had a grilled Reuben with fries, and I had a Tuna Salad Sandwich with Homemade Chips (wish I chosen the fries as the chips were okay, but the fries my buddies shared were great). ![]() Stefanie’s turkey sandwich shaped like Mickey Mouse. This restaurant is very small so I can see why getting an ADR is so important. We enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere and our waitress was one of the most attentive. Right before ordering dessert, Stefanie needed a potty break. And the nearest one is outside right before Terrace Noodle Station. We rushed over and were soon back to order a chocolate with hot fudge and nuts sundae for me and Luke to share and a Mickeylodeon with chocolate ice cream for Stefanie. ![]() Stefanie’s Mickeylodeon As we had been eating, Luke, who was facing the windows, noticed the skies darkening. And as we were ready to leave, the rain came down. Stefanie and I donned our yellow Mickey ponchos before getting out of our chairs. The rain was coming down pretty heavy so we took cover just a few feet away under the covering leading into the men’s restroom. I was now 8 PM. About 15 minutes later, Stefanie announced that she needed to use the bathroom again, so we carefully scooted around the corner to the women’s restroom. When she had finished and washed up, we exited only to discover that the wind had picked up and the rain was coming down very heavily. So we stayed put for about 15 minutes before rejoining Luke at the men’s side where we met some fellow Kentuckians. Another guy here kept checking the radar on his phone and told us all that it should lighten up around 9 PM. In the meantime, we had quite a bit of serious lightning and nerve-wracking thunder. ![]() Two poncho-clad survivors of the lightning storm. At 9 PM with the parade cancelled we headed to the front of the park to see if the railroad was operating. It was not along with many of the other rides. So we took the time to listen to the Music Box Collection and to view a few of the old time films. At 9:30 we asked Stefanie if she’d mind staying alone if BTMRR was operating. The storm had her spooked, so her answer was no and we headed back to the resort. The line for the monorail to TTC was backed up completely across the front of MK – unbelievable. Everyone wanted to leave the sinking ship. The ferry was also backed up. Our bus was quite full, actually packed in like sardines. The rain had definitely sent us all back home. Back at the room, I did some laundry and recorded notes and we all watched some TV. On the news, the weather report stated that over 12,000 lightning strikes had occurred during this storm. Wow! Scary! Next: An Exchange and a Yak Attack

| Glad you were ok after that storm. I know how bad the storms can be. I don't blame Stephanie for not wanting to stay alone. When we were there in May we had dinner reservations at the Yachtsman Steak House. As we were staying outside of the park our car was in the parking lot outside of Epcot. It was a beautiful sunny day so we never thought about rain. While we were at dinner the rains and thunder and lightning came. We had to walk through Epcot to get to the car. I was never so scared. |

| Cam, we were stuck at Epcot in China during that storm. I thought it was never going to stop raining. We stayed and ended up being in a deserted park for EMH, so it was pretty good! Sounds like a great day at HS and MK, storm aside. Can't wait to hear more!
