| Jill, I was excited when I found Sudafed, too. But it has to be the original stuff. The new formulation doesn't work as well for me. May we please have an update?

| What a great breakfast. Love the group shots of the girls. Glad you were able to spend a bit more time before everyone had to say goodbye.

| Friday, June 4 Day One Part Two Along the way to Epcot, Eric, Monica’s brother, was kind enough to loan us some of their sunscreen for the girls to keep Thom from having to go back to the room. I had bought about 4 cans of sunscreen, but we had forgotten to bring any of them with us today. Once through the gates, we once again did our “divide and conquer” plan so that everyone could do what they wanted. I was just through the gates when I heard my name called. A very familiar looking lady immediately introduced herself as tkdlisa from the Passporter boards! ![]() ![]() By the time I met up with Monica and Maddie, the rest of our crew was gone. Thom, Mary Devall, Eric and Macy were going to try the single rider line at TT while Monica’s SIL, Phyllis and Sarah decided on a little MouseGears shopping spree. Maddie and I decided that we wanted to extend our time with Monica so we accompanied her on her errands. While Monica picked up a bottle of perfume, I enjoyed browsing. Maddie had taken off around the corner and was calling out my name within seconds. When I turned the corner, she was standing in front of a display with tons of Wolfey’s with the biggest Monica soon joined us and she mentioned that she had read that there was supposedly one animal that had something a little different on the tag. If you found the one and brought it to a CM, then you would receive a Magical Moments certificate (or something like that). Monica found one without a price tag, so she handed it to Maddie and asked the CM if he knew how much it was since the tag was off. Apparently we didn’t have the right one because he simply told us the price. Before we left the shop, I made sure to take a picture of a bottle of ice wine for Larry and send it to him. I had forgotten that receiving pictures were difficult for him with his iPhone, but thankfully he figured out how to get it! ![]() The final item on Monica’s list was another bottle of perfume, but this time in Norway. I rarely wear perfume, but that part of the store smells absolutely divine! The creator of the perfume was actually there that day, so Monica ended up getting the bottle signed along with some other goodies. She was so happy with her purchase that she ended up going back to get Charlie a bottle of the cologne, but she nixed getting it autographed since she didn’t think he would exactly appreciate that! Monica and I had a Italian margarita mini-meet planned with Donna (GoofyMom) and Dan so we headed in that direction. On the way, we spotted what looked like a short line for Snow White, but after we mentioned it to Maddie and got a little closer, we noticed that most of the line was hidden by a wall. Thankfully, the line moved fairly quickly and Maddie was soon having a wonderful meet with her favorite princess. Maddie showed Snow White her age by holding up three fingers (and this is not an easy feat for her – four is going to be so much easier! By the time that we reached Italy, Donna and Dan were already at the Italian margarita kiosk. I have always loved Donna’s tr’s, so meeting both her and Dan was such a pleasure. ![]() Once we had all “officially” met, we decided to work on the “margarita” portion of our meet and walked a few steps over to the counter to place our order. ![]() It didn’t take long for Maddie to spot the gelato, so she quickly decided that she wanted chocolate gelato. I asked for only one scoop but I was given an overflowing cup which I just knew was going to end up all over Maddie. I covered her with napkins before I handed her the cup of chocolate gelato, but within seconds she had managed to remove every single napkin. ![]() We did manage to find a spot of shade between the kiosk and another little drink cart and enjoyed catching up. Although Monica and I got the “non-frozen” variety of the Italian margarita, they were still . I tried to stay up with the conversation, but Maddie’s gelato was constantly threatening to spill all over her clothes. I also noticed that she didn’t seem too thrilled with it - - especially when she asked to have a sip of my drink. Donna was drinking an Italian primavera, so when I suggested to Maddie that she could have one of those she gave me a big . Back to the counter I went for her refreshing treat which made her so very happy since she was like the big girls now and made me so very happy since it had a lid and a straw! We chatted for a while and then moved out into the sun so that Dan could take pictures of the three ladies. ![]() I don’t think that the conversation ever lulled for a second, but before we knew it, Thom, Mary Devall, Eric and Macy found us and it was time for Monica and Macy to leave. We exchanged hugs and goodbyes and then they were gone in a flash. ![]() Eric had to leave also to catch up with his family, so we said goodbye to yet another person. I had the feeling that he and Thom had bonded quickly after Eric ran back to shake Thom’s hand and Thom confirmed this moments later when he told me all about Eric and what a great guy he was. I introduced Thom and Mary Devall to Donna and Dan and we chatted a bit longer before Donna and Dan headed in one direction for Chinese and we went the other way. We knew that we would be seeing them next week for Heather’s margarita meet so we didn’t have to really say “goodbye” yet! We continued walking around WS until we reached France and Mary Devall noticed that a show was about to begin. This girl comes to a dead halt when a show starts in her presence. And since we were in France, I decided to make a little stop while Thom stayed with the girls. ![]() As soon as I approached the kiosk in France, I placed an order for a Grand Marnier slushie. That’s when I noticed this sign. ![]() Well, I’m all about trying new things, so I asked her if I could change my order and she did just that. Within seconds, I had a bright cherry red drink in front of me. My #1 goal as I tried to carry this drink and rejoin my family was to keep it from dripping all over my white top. It was melting quickly in the bright sun and I’m not known for my grace in the first place, so keeping it off of me was not an easy task. It was good - - at first - - but then the overwhelming sweetness became too much for me. ![]() After the show (which was tres cute! Walking with this drink was like walking with a ticking red time bomb. At some point, it was going to end up on my top. Plus . . . it got to be a tad nasty. ![]() On our way to Soarin’, it began sprinkling just a bit, so we picked up speed and made it inside the Land just as the bottom dropped out. Just for kicks, we measured Maddie at Soarin’ and she was still an inch away from the all-important 40” mark. Mary Devall and I decided to bite the bullet and just wait in the 60 minute standby line while Thom took off with Maddie for a ride on Living with the Land followed by Nemo. Mary Devall and I were able to play the games twice which she really enjoyed. Of course that was because we had an especially competitive group and came in first with both games. ![]() When we finally made it the front, I was all set to request row one when we were assigned row one. ![]() We had an excellent time - - I still get just as much fun watching Mary Devall’s excitement as I do from the ride itself. ![]() After playing phone and text tag with Thom, we finally met up outside of The Land. They had ridden Living with the Land twice and Nemo three times while we rode Soarin’ once! The skies were blue again so we decided to ride SE next, but on the way, we spotted a KP sign up and got a FP that had us at the International Gateway in 30 minutes. Okay, there was no way that we could ride SE and hot foot it back across WS in 30 minutes, so we bagged SE for the day.So . . . we skedaddled back to IG to pick up the Kimmunicator and were promptly sent next door to England. The girls, especially Mary Devall, absolutely loved playing their first game although the taking turns on missions and sharing got to be a little much. Since we were close to BCV, we decided to call it a day and relax in the room for a bit before our big dinner at Flying Fish Café. Thom took a little snooze again while the girls watched tv and I took a glass of wine out on the balcony and took in the scenery. After about an hour of relaxing, we freshened up and then took off for FFC. It was so nice to be able to just stroll over to the restaurant.Up next . . . what's better than a peeky toe crab??? nuthin!
