| Great update! Sounds like you had a great day at Epcot. Kudos to you for not spilling that very bright red drink on yourself. I for one probably would have the second I took a sip out of the glass!

| Love the pictures of the girls at the breakfast. I think we will do breakfast there in October for sure! Sounds like a great day at Epcot. You had a few meetings with some PP! How great!

| getting caught up with your trip report. Love the pics of Maddie with Donald Duck. No more giving the characters " the look" that said back off, stay away. Those two girls of yours are just too cute. Good thinking on the toothbrushes. Does it make toothbrushing more fun than chore now? And that cherrybomb colored drink would have definately found its way onto my clothing. not just my shirt, but would have been dripped onto shorts too.

| Wonderful updates - it sounds like great fun with good friends. By the way, I am 100% with you on the Sudafed - I was doped up on those yesterday to clear my sinuses, so I hear you about that! ![]()

| The Sudafed is working like a charm for me this weekend!!! So glad you mentioned it! I am just getting all caught up and I am happy to report that you got all the details right on with no embellishments in sight!! Eric really enjoyed meeting and spending time with Thom too. I was so glad to finally get to meet Donna and Dan and really enjoyed chatting with them. It was so sad for us to have to leave when the fun was just beginning. We were actually a little late because I just couldn't tear myself away from you guys. But we are looking forward to alot more time together next summer! And that red drink sure looks like trouble! I can't wait to hear more about what happened after we left so hurry back! |

| That very red drink just looks like trouble. I am going to stay away from that one. Although I'm not usually clumsy, I can just see that one finding its way to my shirt. What a bummer Monica and gang had to leave so soon, but you have a great time with the time you did spend together. | ||||

| The red drink looked a little frightening to me. But on our last trip I spilled some red kakagori on my white sneakers. Now when I look at the stain all I can think of is how nice it was to be in the world showcase eating kakagori. It's like my own little messy souvenier.

| What a perfect day in Epcot. Strolling through the countries, meeting Passporters, drinking FABs. Heaven! And even though I knew you didn't like that red FAB, I still wanted to try it for myself. I spent my last hours in Epcot and forgot to get one. It's rare that I find something too sweet and I love cranberry juice, so I suspect I'd like it.

| Friday, June 5 Day Two Part Three I was so excited about eating at FFC since I had been wanting to for years. We even had a reservation (or shall I say “priority seating” since that’s what it was called back then So, I was finally here and I planned on loving it! ![]() ![]() When we entered the lobby, Thom immediately took girls to bathroom while I checked in (Maddie loves to visit the bathroom so you might as well get it out of the way before you’re seated I assured him that he did along with the people behind me. I then walked forward and proceeded to get myself checked in without another word. ![]() A CM was soon going outside to call the line breaker’s family. When he came inside, he stopped in front of me and apologized again. He told me that he thought people were just waiting on tables and not waiting to check in. I told him that it was okay and not to worry about it (and I did feel just a teeny bad for being so cold to him initially Our name was called before the bathroom bunch returned, so when they finally got back we were seated immediately. Our server was Bob and he was simply outstanding. ), so I think he was immediately taken with our two little girls. He knew just what to say to get them to eat and had them laughing the entire meal. ![]() The little girls started with chocolate milk while Thom and I took a more adult route with our drink orders. Thom went with a beer, but I just knew that I had to try one of the wine flights. Bob went in depth describing the chardonnay versus the alternative white and, based on his recommendations, I went for the alternative white. ![]() ![]() For my appetizer and entrée, I decided to go for the Passporter tried and true selections that I’ve drooled over in trip reports for years: Flying Fish Cafe Peeky Toe Crab Cake - savory vegetable slaw, roasted red pepper coulis, ancho chili remoulade and Our Signature Flying Fish Cafe Potato-Wrapped Red Snapper - Creamy Leek Fondue, veal glace, and Red Wine and Cassis Butter Sauce. Thom is a big calamari fan, so it was a no brainer when he ordered Crispy Sesame and Togarashi-scented Calamari - spiced green papaya, Wakame and Vegetables iwth Asian dipping sauce. He rarely orders scallops and he abhors peas, so I was surprised when he went with the Oak-grilled Hand-harvested Maine Scallops -- English Pea, Pecorino, Basil and Mascarpone-laced Risotto di Carnarolli, Prosciutto di Parma Cracklins. Mary Devall also went with a tried and true, but hers was the Bowl of Mickey Pasta with butter and parmesan cheese. It’s normally served with marinara sauce, but she is not a fan of tomato sauce (unless it’s served in one of those nasty Kids Kitchen meals ).Maddie is our more adventurous eater, so it was a hoot to hear her order Grilled Fish Skewer of the Day with roasted red potatoes and vegetables (and the fish of the day was snapper just like mine). ![]() ![]() The Peeky Toe crab was every bit as delicious as it was advertised. I even took a picture and sent it to Larry also letting him know that it was once again being called the Peeky Toe crab. ![]() ![]() Mary Devall had a taste and remarked that it was “tasty.” She even got mad at me when she found out that I had a crab cake at Ruby Tuesday’s on Father’s Day and didn’t tell her - - “Mommy, you know I like crab.” ![]() Thom didn’t appear to be overwhelmed by any of his selections, but I think he actually didn’t have too much of an appetite (plus I think the peas in his entrée whigged him out a bit ). My entire meal, on the other hand, was delicious! The potato wrapped snapper was not at all what I expected - - I was thinking that it would be thinner and crispier, but it was so good. ![]() Throughout the meal, Bob kept coming by acting as if he was eating fish off Maddie’s plate and saying “You had better eat that fish or I’m going to eat it.” Everytime Maddie saw him coming, she would pop a piece of fish in her mouth and say “You’re not going to eat my fish.” ![]() Then Bob informed Mary Devall that she had to eat five more bites of pasta before she could even think about desserts. She took him at his word and did exactly as he asked. Oh, if only Bob could have come home with us! Even though I probably could have done a bit better on my entrée also (I was pacing myself ![]() ![]() ![]() (Jill) A Sweet Ending to Your Celebration - Florida Key Lime Delice Fantasie Key Lime-Pineapple sorget, chocolate accents (Thom) Butterscotch Crème Brulee with candied peaches (Maddie/Mary Devall) Mickey's Chocolate Puzzle - white chocolate puzzle, sugar paints, creamy-topped chocolate cupcake The girls had known for weeks what they were having for dessert since that’s how I had managed to get them excited about FFC. ![]() ![]() Continued in next post . . .
