| Saturday, June 6 Day Three Part Two Once back on land after the boat ride from DHS, we were right beside the pool when someone called my name. When I turned to see who it was, I saw a pretty lady sporting a black bathing suit and wrap but I couldn’t quite place who it was. ![]() I gave her a big hug and then was thrilled when she introduced her family. I was able to meet Kiara, Grumpy and Peter Pan and they were all as sweet as could be. My family noticed me missing, so they came back to meet Nala and her pride also. Kiara was ready to hit the pool - - I mean how fair is it to get a child this close to Stormalong Bay and then tell her to wait while her mom chats with this total stranger for now with hopes of seeing each other again. On our way back to our room, I finally took this picture that the girls had wanted since we first set foot on property! They this statue.![]() The girls had been wanting to swim for three days now, so with a little time on our hands and no rain in the forecast we got their swimsuits on in the room and then headed for the quiet pool. They paddled around for a little while, but then Mary Devall decided that she wanted her goggles leading to Thom informing me that he had forgotten to pack her goggles. I’ve never been a goggle wearer so I normally leave all of the goggle “packing” to the goggle “wearers.” ![]() Since I had opted out of swimming and was dressed, I was immediately volunteered to leave my comfy chair Maddie, who had never worn goggles in her life, just stood there looking at me with her bottom lip poked out. So . . . back I went to buy yet another pair of precious Mickey Speedo goggles.Oh, but I had two happy girls after that! Those goggles just.crack.me.up. ![]() We let them swim for a while longer before we returned to the room and got ready for the evening. While there, I decided to take a non-camera phone picture of our view. ![]() Once they were showered and dressed, we took that wonderful short stroll over to IG and tried to make a decision about dinner. After surprisingly little thought, Thom decided that he and Maddie would eat something from Germany while Mary Devall and I wanted to visit the bakery in France. On our way to the bakery, Mary Devall and I ran into Joey sitting with . . . a bunch of strangers. I immediately knew that I wanted the cheese plate, but choosing something for Mary Devall would be more difficult. I pointed out a few things for her and she decided on the cheese tartine (which essentially looked like a cheese French bread pizza) fairly quickly. While they heated her tartine and found a baguette for me, Mary Devall also picked out the “cake of the day.” Her eyes grew to twice their size when she saw that it was the deepest darkest looking chocolate cake that you’ve ever seen. ![]() Of course, I had to have a glass of wine to go along with my cheese plate, but I decided to wait and purchase one once we met up with Thom and Maddie (especially since I had no free hands left to carry it We were still making our way through Morocco when Thom called to say that there was no seating in Germany so they were meeting us halfway at the American pavilion. Thom and Maddie already had their brats on a table, so we added our food before I took off for Italy for a glass of wine. I had never been in this wine shop, but I definitely plan on going back. There was only a short line in front of me, but it gave me a chance to look around. The bottle of limoncello alone had me swooning! I noticed that a young girl behind me (well, young but still 21 or older ![]() And I’m supposed to know these things as ELC president - - good thing I didn’t have my sash on that day! Once I was up-to-speed on the wine card, I enjoyed watching the woman in front of me pay for her wine and a bottle of limoncello. She was absolutely thrilled when they carded her, but I (nor the CM’s) had the heart to tell her that it was because she didn’t sign the back of her Key to the World card. ![]() Anyhoo . . . I ended up with a wonderful glass of chardonnay/pinot grigio blend and it only cost me $3.95! It wasn’t a gigantic glass, but it was just enough to go with my cheese plate. ![]() I met my family back in America where we all enjoyed relaxing at our little table - - eating, drinking and watching the world go by. This was a little something different for us since we usually just either use table service or just snack, but it was a good different! Up next . . . another celebrity in our midst!

| Ok, more details on the wine card please. Do you get it at Epcot GS? How much? What does it cover? Just wine? Just in WS? Wining people need to know!

Sounds like a perfect way to enjoy the evening...and a wine card??? Wish I would have known about that, my parents would have been in heaven during our December trip. Looking forward to hearing more.

| The goggles are too cute! We aren't goggle wearers either so it wouldn't even dawn on me to pack them. Nice find about the wine card. Great update!

| A wine card? Wow, that's new to me, too! Those Mickey goggles are so cute... what a find! Isn't it amazing how Disney thinks of everything. If you can dream it, you can find it with a Mickey logo in a WDW store! What a great way to end the evening.

| Great update. How nice to run into Nala and her pride. The girls look so cute in their goggles. My two have to have theirs when they swim. I think they look so funny with them on. Their eyes are all scrunched up. Sounded like a great swim.

| Love the goggles! Sounds like a some good food (and wine) you had. We do that all the time in the WS. Last trip, my mom had mexican, I had orange chicken from China, and the boys had Morrocan. We all got our food and met up to eat. Great way to enjoy the countries. I too am very curious about the wine card. How did I not know about that?!
