Absolutely!

Do you think they would respond as derisively if you paused to tweet? It's quite seamless with the iPhone app--you type the message (140 characters or less!) and then tap the control to add a picture and either take one or select from the Camera Roll, and Viola! You're done. It puts a link in the Tweet that folks can click on to display the pic.

I think there's a way to update Twitter and Facebook simultaneously but, hey, no sense going overboard with this stuff is there?

Yeah, [my DH] Bob tried to convince me of the same, but.. like the addict that I am, I didn't listen to him and started messing with it. I think it bit the dust anyway and I'm only waiting on CJ to get home from school 'til we go out to the Verizon store.
