| It sounds like you had a great meal at the Coral Reef. What a shame your trip's coming to an end though.

| Sounded like a great dinner at Coral Reef. That is so funny about the salad. I thought the same thing when we ate there. I had the salad, the NY strip, which was to die for and the chocolate wave, also to die for. Sounded like a nice leisurely evening at DTD. Cool encounter your DH had too! I hate to see it end. I have enjoyed your report very much.

So nice to now we weren't the only ones a little shocked by the salad! We fell in love with POFQ and will most likely stay there again. That boat ride is so nice.

| Sadly today was our last day. The good news was our flight wasn’t until 9:00pm so we didn’t need to be back for DME until 6:00. We were up early to make the most of our last day. Heck you can sleep on the plane. We had done most of the packing the night before and just had those last minute things to pack. We took our luggage to bell services snapping pictures of our new beloved POFQ along the way. We were headed back to DHS today since there were still some things we hadn’t done there yet that we wanted to. It was also am EMH so we figured we could get a lot done in that first hour.Once we arrived at DHS, we grabbed a fastpass for one more spin on TSMM – what would be our tie breaker since we were now at 3-3 for total games ever played. Instead of hopping in line for TSMM we made our way over to MuppetVision 3D. We’re big muppet fans so this is always a must do. The park is really empty over this way during am EMH since everyone is over at TSMM, RNRC, and TOT. ![]() Really, really empty. We next decided to take a final drop on TOT, our fourth or fifth trip by now. We stopped by Rosie’s to grab some breakfast, a couple of egg and cheese bagel sandwiches, and used up the rest of our snack credits for drinks. Pat really wanted to do the Animation Academy so we headed that direction. On our way back up Sunset we ran into some more Streetmosphere characters, grabbed a seat on a bench, and watched the show. It was really funny. They were ‘filming’ an opening scene for a movie. ![]() The funniest part was noticing what was hanging from the police officer’s belt. ![]() Now I secretly have avoided the Animation Academy for years because I’m really not so great at drawing. We went inside and it wasn’t at all what I was expecting. Really I don’t know what I was expecting but it wasn’t a bunch of light boards in rows. ![]() ![]() Getting ready to draw. We sat at our seats and learned we were going to draw Donald Duck. As we were drawing, I started to impress myself with my drawing. It was coming out great! Even Pat looked over and was shocked. Here’s my final product. Notice my very proud smile. ![]() I still can't believe I actually drew this. I swear I'm framing it. Just goes to show how good those instructors at the Animation Academy are. By now our fastpasses were ripe so we were off to TSMM. It was the game to end all games. By the end I think both our arms were ready to fall off. Sadly I lost so I’m now behind 4-3. I’m still not over it. We were getting hungry again since it was now around noon. We headed back over to Rosie’s to grab a veggie burger for me, regular burger for Pat. He bit into his burger only to find out it was still ice cold in the middle. Ugh! Back he went to the counter and they gave him a new burger. They took care of everything but it made us kind of second guess eating there. We’ve eaten at Rosie’s plenty of times and never had any problems. But uncooked burgers are just not something you want to eat. After lunch we went to check on the wait times for The Little Mermaid. I had wanted to see it but the whole trip we kept passing by when it was a really long wait. Finally the wait was manageable. We both enjoyed the show, the effects are something else. I was kind of bummed how chopped up the story is. Turns out Pat doesn’t really know the story anyway so I had to explain some parts. It makes a lot more sense if you already know the story, otherwise it seems to jump from one thing to the next pretty quickly like something is missing in between. Next up we headed back for another ride on RNRC. Pat started out this trip with RNRC not being one of his favorite rides. He hates coasters that launch you like RNRC does. He goes on it to make me happy honestly. But by the third or fourth ride over the week, he had now decided it wasn’t so bad. We wanted to catch Block Party Bash just out of curiosity so that was next on our list. We found a spot in the shade thank goodness. It wasn’t too long before the parade started. We happened to be where the Toy Story section stopped. The performers are great and I have to give them a lot of credit for being able to have such energy at 3:00 in the afternoon in August. Pat loves Monster’s Inc and I’ve always had a thing for A Bug’s Life so it was fun to see all the different characters they have in the parade. It was definitely more entertaining than we thought it would be and I’d make plans to see it again next time we go back. ![]() Love that they included the back door. ![]() ![]() I wanted Pat to see Indiana Jones Stunt Show because I knew he’d really enjoy it. I’d seen it before so I knew what to expect. I know some people think it’s become outdated but I still like it and Pat was entertained too. I think he was surprised with all the set changes in that show. ![]() ![]() We sadly had to start heading back to POFQ. We got back around 5:00. The only thing left to do was get Pat an ice cream cone. He wanted one all week and for some reason whenever we thought to get one, no place would be open. Guess we thought about it late at night during EMH a lot. Oddly enough, ice cream cones are not easy to find during pm EMH. We hung out in the food court for a while, Pat with his ice cream cone and me with the biggest ice cream sandwich I’ve ever seen. We collected our luggage and made our way onto DME without any drama this time. For those of you that remember, last time we discovered we were missing our keys about 20 minutes before we were supposed to be on DME. No problems this time thank goodness. Our flight home was uneventful. The only problem this time was learning Southwest somehow managed to break a wheel off my luggage and put a big hole in the bottom of it, not to mention the handle being all torn up too. My almost brand new, only being used for the second time, very favorite Mickey luggage. Of course it was the bigger suitcase too so it’s not like it would be easy to just carry. They won’t do anything about it either – no liability for handles or wheels. Midway Park, Ride, and Fly picked us right up and before we knew it we were driving ourselves to pick up the cat and head home. Next up: favorites, things we learned to do and not to do, and general wrap up.

| I also got some great photos in the empty part of DHS early in the morning. It was fantastic - there was absolutely nobody around! Kind of creepy.... I'm totally jealous of your Donald drawing! It's awesome!! The two times we've done that and both times had Mickey to draw. I ssoooooo wanted Donald since he's my favorite!! Glad to hear your DH is liking RnRC now! Oh, and that he finally got his ice cream. Good way to end the trip. Looking forward to your final thoughts!
