Great start! VERY stressful airport experience. Hope that was the last of the stressful days. Can't wait to read the rest - we were wondering how good WDW is for a honeymoon destination.

A few comments:

Google maps can print out weird, not that I'm shirking responsibility for getting lost on the way to the airport. Second, boy we sure got through the bag check in and security in a hurry! Pant, pant. Honestly I think we took stuff out of our pockets and shoes off in like 10 seconds and threw them in the bins. Third, Marianne made it all the way through the ceremony without tears, and so did I luckily, except one of us sort of broke down in the receiving line

Thanks for letting me know about the tears. I made a comment that made her tear up and she said now she was worried. I told her not to worry about it. I am glad you guys made it through tear free. I am so happy for the two of you.

Ummmm, I think the only thing weird about that map is the way the user had the computer print it out.

Great start! Glad you made it through the airport okay and still managed to arrive in Orlando early. How'd that happen?

We arrived at POFQ and headed to check in. We did the online check in this time. There was only 2 or 3 people in the regular check in line and no one in the online check in line. Online check in was a breeze. They had our packet all ready and showed us where our room was, 5218. I was excited since the only request we made was to be on a courtyard and I knew from reading the boards that building 5 was a great location. We had to ask for the just married buttons. The CM gave us the older ‘Just Married’ button and the new “Happily Ever After’ design. We stopped in the food court to grab our mugs and split lunch. We had a 5:40 ADR at Le Cellier so we didn’t want to eat a whole meal each. No way were we going to already be full when it came time for dinner.

After eating we started off to find our room. POFQ really is gorgeous, much more lush than we expected.

One of the courtyards

Following the signs we walked towards the pool.

About now I started wondering just where our room was because it seemed to be sending us towards the pool or the river and we sure didn’t pay for a water view. We climbed the stairs and decided we probably would be going straight towards the courtyard.

I loved this stairway. Looks almost like a little alleyway.

We were so surprised when we reached the top and the signs pointed right – again towards the pool and the river. We walked past the pool, turned the corner on the river side, and found our room about 2 doors down! We couldn’t believe it! Not only did we somehow manage to score a free upgrade to a water view, but it was right on the river! We were so excited.

View from our room.

Our building, the river is on the right. Our room was right by the small tree on the left in the center of the picture.

We really couldn’t have had a better location. It was kind of noisy on the pool side but once you turned that corner towards the river where we would be staying, it was very quiet. We checked out the room and kept looking out the window, watching the DTD water taxis go by.

We finally decided we should tear ourselves away from our view and go to Epcot.

As soon as we got to the bus stop an Epcot bus pulled up.

All of the buses and monorails have the celebrate balloons on them.

Once we arrived at Epcot we hit Spaceship Earth first. DH and I love SE and could go on it over and over. After SE, we went to The Seas with Nemo where we discovered our love of cuttlefish in the aquarium.

I don’t remember ever seeing these little guys before but they really are amazing. They can change color in the blink of an eye. We spent a long time watching them. One of the nice things about being on an adult’s only trip – if you feel like spending 15 minutes watching cuttlefish, there’s no one whining about it.

It was getting close to our ADR time so we decided we should start heading that way. We stopped by Journey into Imagination. It's so cheesy but I love it, mostly for the song. We walked over to the Canada pavilion after we finished visiting Figment, and walked around looking at the gardens and waterfalls before we checked in at Le Cellier.

Coming up: Le Cellier does not disappoint!
