Ok, I've not done one of these before--so bare with me.

The who is me--Vicky 36, full-time student, pooh-sized, never been to disney mom.
Dh--39, full time accountant--never been to disney, loves to be silly and started this whole journey dad.
DD--13 years old as of 9/17/09--loves Tinkerbell, all things Twilight, Jonas Brothers, and has the attitude that goes with the teenage years.--has never been to disney either--and never dreamed we'd ever go.
DS-6.5yrs old--has adhd and spd--loves all things legos, dinosaurs, and buzz lightyear. Is as silly as his daddy, wants nothing to do with roller coasters and is my excuse for staying on the ground. He doesn't even have a clue what going to Walt Disney World really means.

What started it all--dh and I wanted to go to wdw when we got married 16 years ago--but we didn't even have the ability to take off work for a honeymoon--let alone have the money to go anywhere. 7 years ago I lost both my parents within 9 weeks of each other. In those 7 years we've lost jobs, our house, moved to a new community, received a diagnosis of our ds and struggled to help him and us cope, and been in a car accident that left both dh and myself bruised and in pain. It is the settlement of this accident that is allowing us to go, though the original plan actually was hatched in January--using tax money that later had to be used for a vehicle. We ar celebrating dd 13th bday, dh 40th bday, our 1st visit, and survival.

The plan--We fly out of Indy--TOMORROW--OMG is it real? Leaving at around 3pm and supposed to land around 5:30.

Staying at AKL savannah view for 9 days, 8 nights w/ free dining, ph, and waterparks fun and more. We have ressies at Boma late tomorrow evening and will be celebrating dd bday. We also have plans to swim in what I have heard is a magnificent pool.

Saturday we are starting out slow at DS, then swimming at the hotel before going to SOA.

Sunday we are going to Tusker House for Breakfast and spending the morning at AK. We have tentative plans to hit BB mid-day and then have ressies at Grand Floridian Cafe in the evening.

Monday is Epcot day--and we are planning on eating our way around the world for lunch and have ressies in DTD at Wolf Gang Puck's Cafe in the evening.

Tuesday may be a slow start day. It is also our MK day--but we have tickets for MNSSHP and ressies at Liberty Tree tavern before hand.

Wednesday we have breakfast ressies at 1900 Park Fare at 10 am, and then plan to spend the morning at AK, followed by Kouzzina at 6pm--downtime scheduled midday--after Kouzzina we will be hopping to Epcot for some more time there and Illuminations.

Thursday is our second MK day. We have Crystal Palace ressies for a late lunch and Wishes dessert party in the evening.

Friday morning we are going to TL. In the later afternoon/early evening we will be heading over to DS to see Fantasmic at the late showing. We will eat quick service this day--as other days that we have no ressies.

Saturday will be our last day and I think we will be going to DTD before leaving for the airport. Our plane leaves around 5:30 and unfortunately we have a layover on teh way home and won't get in until almost midnight.

I have preordered the photopass cd but dh also have a very good camera and plans to take lots and lots of pictures. I will have internet a couple of days while we are there because in amongst everything else I have schoolwork I have to do while I'm there. DD also has some, but ds will not get his until we get back. I will try to check in a little bit while we are there.

Our bags are mostly packed. I have to do a wallyworld run in the am for a couple last minute items, I have a list of what else needs to be packed, and a list of the last minute things I need to do.

DH who is also a member here--just looked at me a few minutes ago and asked if this was really real. We so can't wait!!!

Ok, I'm off for a shower and bed. DD has to be up at 6 for school (am picking her up after lunch). Ds has a field trip that dh is going on so that they can leave on time and ds still gets to go--and I have my lists (including laundry and dishes) that have to be handled.
