| We're boring, what can I say? PTR So we don't have any amazing feats to conquer to get to WDW. At the moment, everyone is playing nice and everyone is healthy (knock, knock knock), that's me, knocking wood! This is our second trip to WDW, and my first TR, so be patient. Cast: Me (40, just turned) DH (42) DD (15) DD (12) DD (5) DM-I-L (???) We're going in Nov and staying at BLT for 7 days, then off to a rental house in Orlando for some time at Seaworld and Cocoa Beach (if we don't freeze to death!) Imagine me saying that, living in the midwest, where it is currently 50 degrees! For DD5 this promises to be a magical vacation in so many ways! We will visit CRT and do BBB, as she is princess CRAZY. For the older girls, it is a chance to spread their wings a bit and venture off into some more exciting rides. The last time we were in WDW they were 7 and 10, and not really into thrill rides at all. My D-M-I-L has heel spur issues, so I worry a bit about her keeping up, but she loves WDW and claims to be up for the challenge. (we'll see!). DH shares my love of all things "vacation" and alll things "magic", so we are all very excited for this trip. Pulling my girls out of school for 2 weeks was easier than I'd anticipated (whew!), though this will be the last time we do it, because the older girls have some magor work to do ahead. I do feel though, that children are only young once, and this is a family thing. I have been planning this trip for about 6-7 months, I have loved every moment (and still do) of the passporter website. The forums have given me amazing information, and I feel like between TouringPLans/Passporter/TourguideMike, we are all set to get it right! I have whittled down the attractions to our must-do's and I have broken up all days with times to rest/swim/mini-golf, etc away from the parks. Now if I can keep everyone healthy, I feel like we have a shot at a great vacation! So that's us and that's about it! We're boring, what can I say? |
