| Just thought I should share....... This is a bit old, but I am a bit new so...... We went down March '09. My youngest girl, the adorable one on left, had a slight cough. As there was no congestion we decided to go ahead and fly. DME dropped us off at Fort Wilderness and the cough got way worse instantly. Day One: Magic Kingdom Wow we got up but she didn't. We really had to fight her up she was just so sick. The coughing was terrible! We head to MK get in small world 2-3 photos and back to cabin by 10:00 a.m. She is just so sick my heart ached for her. She slept 1 hour at a time would wake up for 30 minutes and sleep again. Day Two: Golf Cart Rides No one has really slept since we checked in. The sleep 1 hour awake for 30 min. has been constant now. We spent our day at the cabins riding the golf cart when she is awake (we really loved that by the way). Our oldest is up for sainthood at this point she has been wonderful. Day Two: Celebrations Fever hit hard and fast 103! We are now very worried. Night falls on us with zero improvement. WDW sees millions of guests each year so I figure nothing can be too new to them so I call the front desk. Jackpot! The duty manager says to me "Mr. Terracio don't worry about a thing we will take care of you." Minutes later he is in our cabin with WDW medics/security. Minutes later the local Paramedics arrive. I never had to ask a single question. The manager explained that they would take my DW and DD to Celebrations and when they were ready to return the desk would call a taxi and pay for it. Day Three: Pneumonia They got back in the early hours. Pneumonia. I am heart sick still. With 4 days to go. Everyone has now told us that with the antibiotics she should show improvement by bed time and considerable improvement by morning. Day Four: I am a husband that loves his MIL Zero improvement. Day 2 and 3 now spent riding a golf cart. Mouse Keeping and everyone knows the story now. Fresh everything that day, twice. Regular check in calls. They are so far above and beyond any other vacation spots standards now that no one could live up to the Disney name now. The MIL calls she can get a flight down what do we want her to do? She is a RN. We are back and forth about what to all day. Finally 1 hour before the MIL flight would leave we say go for it. Uh-oh now what do we do? So I call the front desk and once more they tell me not to worry. Print her a key (yes she would have been free anyway) and try to schedule DME for her. The DME won't be there at the right time though. Once more no problem they arrange for a different DME to go out of its way to drop her off. Day Four: Relief MIL is at the cabin! Even if our DD doesn't feel better we do. She immediately kicks us out with our oldest to go see WDW for a while! Day Five: Hard choices made easy The day breaks with still zero improvement. The MIL once more kicks us out to enjoy WDW with our oldest. We head back for lunch and to check on youngest. No improvement. The MIL asks if we want her to take our youngest back home. YES! She may not be with us, but she will be with everything she knows where all the attention is focused on her. A hard choice to make, but really easy to live with later. We even get to leave both girls behind tonight to enjoy adult stuff! Day Six and Seven: The wrap up Disney gets my MIL and youngest off wonderfully. We now get to spend the rest of our time in parks with our oldest. The picture of my girls on my avatar is from that trip. That was the only day both girls went to a park. We are returning on Dec 27th 2009, and this time we are taking my MIL right from the start. Before this trip I liked WDW. After the way they helped and supported us in our time of need I am a Disney Husband to the core! I just hope this helps someone.

| So sorry your dd was so sick during your trip. What a great MIL you have, how wonderful that you were still able to enjoy the parks with your older dd! I hope everyone stays well and has a magical time in December! Thanks for sharing your trip. I pray that no one gets sick during our trip, but it's good to know that Disney is so helpful if something should go wrong!

| Glad you are going back. Similar happened to our DD when we took them down. She was a little older (22) and found out it was Mono. Disney is fantastic about trying to make any vacation magical. We took all back as soon as we could as well. This trip will make the other a very distant memory. Have fun!

| ME! This helps ME! Thank you so much for posting this and how wonderful Disney is with these types of problems. We are headed to the World the end of this month with DD4 (her first trip) who has several major medical "things," and it's nice to hear that Disney will go above and beyond if something happens. Oh, and we're staying in the cabins, too! We've never stayed in them before. How did you like them?

| Wow, what an ordeal! But it's nice to know your MIL and WDW came through when you needed them. I hope your December trip is a little less eventful!
