Great Day at DHS!!

So, what did Becky take a picture of at DTD?

Since we had eaten a scrumpdilicious lunch at Sci-Fi, we just didn't feel like a huge buffet meal that evening. We had an ADR for Boma, but none of us felt like we could eat that much food. I was sad to miss my Boma this trip, but I know I will get there again soon!
After we all had taken refreshing showers and relaxed a bit (I think Carly worked on postcards, Becky....I am not sure what she did, Jo took a small nap, and I took a few notes on what we had done during the day), we decided that we would head out to DTD for some more shopping and a small bite to eat at Earl of Sandwich.
The DTD bus came about 5 minutes after we got to the bus stop! Not bad! Even though it was still very warm out...the bus ride was freezing cold! Geesh! I ended up with goosebumps on my goosebumps!
As we walked into the Marketplace, Carly wanted to go into the new store Design A Tee. I like this idea, but the prices are a bit high for me! I think if I were there on a very special occasion, I might splurge....but didn't feel the need the purchase one today.
From there we headed to the Earl of Sandwich to open the door to like 9000 other hungry people! The line was oh my gosh long! We got in the line and were herded along like everyone else. It probably took us about 10 minutes to get up to order, which I really didn't think was that bad considering the amount of people! After placing our orders, Carly went in search of a table. She finally found one outside. The next 15 minutes were waiting for our orders to come up! It was just crazy!! Sorry, but no food pictures were taken at this time, once we finally got our sandwiches, we were ready to eat!
DTD was wall to wall people! It was a total madhouse! We sat and ate our sandwiches and watched like a bazillion people go by! We all decided that we would split up to go shopping. So as we checked our watches at the time, we decided to give ourselves 45 minutes. To be quite honest, I don't think was enough time for Becky, because the look on her face was like, only 45 minutes? But, I figured once we all met back up and she needed more time, we would tell her to keep shopping and we would just wait.
So, we went our own way. I can't really say I know where the other girls went, but I did see Jo in WOD. That is where I spent my whole amount of time. And most of the time was spent dodging the madness that I found in that store! I looked at lots of stuff and had some items in my basket and then I looked at my watch and realized that there was no way I would have time to check out! So, I put all of my items back and headed back to our meeting point.....only to find I was the first to arrive! I guess I probably could have bought my items, but oh well....I knew that I was going to make another stop at the WOD store in a few days when I left to go back to Naples, so I wasn't too terribly bummed.
One by one, the girls started arriving with packages and showing their gifts and purchases.
Now, the famous shopper of our group didn't end up with much that night. Why, you ask? She was too busy people watching! And it was at this time that she found herself some cute gentlemen.....so she decided to take a quick pic!
Becky!!!! You bad girl! She was tickled with herself!
We all decided to go into the Christmas store and look around. I was very excited to see the Christmas flag, so I did purchase one of those. I also got some gift ideas for a few people.
With our shopping done for the night, we all decided it was time to head back to the resort. Carly and I talked about walking over to the Boardwalk Bakery for a delicious brownie cheesecake!! If you have never had this wonderful, tasty treat, you should try it! But......we ended up waiting an eternity for our bus back to the resort.....so we never made it over to the Boardwalk Bakery! Gosh, that was sad. Another treat I would miss getting this trip! Yes, I am pouting about that!
Once we were back to the resort, we walked up the stinky walkway to the villas.
I think this was the night that we all dumped out our loot from the MNSSHP all over the beds and did some trading of the goods! After a few choice pieces of candy and some good trades, we got ready for some much needed sleep.
I set our wake up call for 6:50 a.m. as we had a 8:15 a.m. character breakfast ADR at Tusker House at the AK!! (This is one of Becky's choices)

Another good update. That was a good night at DTD except for the all the people. But since there weren't any EMH that night at any parks we figured it might be busy.

The sandwiches were way yummy. I have never had a bad experience from their yet.

Can't wait to read more!

Sorry about all the people at DtD! I know it gets crazy there in the summer evenings too! Glad you got your yummy sandwiches and got a little shopping done. Sorry you didn't get your dessert!
