| Peter, Wendy, John and Michael Off To Neverland Okay, show of hands out there, how many of you while you are on vacation in Disney begin to plan your next Disney trip before you’ve even left the Disney bubble?? Okay, okay, so maybe a better question would be how many don’t do that? Well, as you can guess, my hand was up with all of yours. And for any of you who read the TR for our trip last year around this time, and the amazing celebration we had filled with surprises and magic little moments, you can imagine that was exactly what I was doing before that fabulous trip even ended. So, here we are with 10 days to go and another trip on the horizon. And I will be following in Princess Sharon’s footsteps here and doing a quick and dirty PTR. I’m totally leaning on the ‘we just moved into our house 2 weeks ago’ excuse for not getting started sooner. I mean, I just started sewing the costumes last night! Nothing like waiting until the last minute, huh? Can you say stress!!?? ![]() So, here is the cast of characters. Here we are at the beach this summer: ![]() Me…a.k.a. for this trip “Wendy” well you know I am a Disney fanatic along with my fellow PPers and LOVE to plan trips. This will be our last trip for at least 2 years so I am really looking forward to this one. Craig…a.k.a. “Peter” my wonderful DH and fellow Disney enthusiast. Although not quite at my fevered pitch. Tyler…a.k.a. “John” our middle son. He’s 8 now and tall enough for RnRC and soooo excited about that. He’s our daredevil and will try anything…once. Jason…a.k.a. “Michael” our baby. Well he’s 4 1/2 but always my baby. He’s not quite as brave and is mostly looking forward to multiple rides on IASW. YAY!! Unfortunately “Huey” or Zach won’t be able to make it this trip because he started playing Freshman football this year and apparently H.S. football coaches don’t think Disney is an excuse to miss practice and games. Additionally, I am going to shamelessly put this video up from our trip last Halloween so you can see one of the dancing machines at work. (Ignore the parts with the crazy “Daisy” and the teenager who decided not to dance for the camera…I didn’t know how to cut them out) ![]() We also found out that 2 other families that we are friends with (The husband of one family and the wife of the other are brother and sister…got that???) will be there the same week. So, we are ALL (12 of us) going to the Halloween party together as various characters in Peter Pan. Hence the nick-names for the cast of characters and the title of the PTR. Up next: The where, the calendar and the ADRs.

| Great start. So...is your husband wearing Peter Pan tights? How much did you pay him to do this? hahaha It's bad enough I'm having to be the white rabbit.

| The man wore fuzzy duck butt shorts last year and a Donald Duck sailor hat...he would actually wear the tights if I asked. (I'm a lucky girl) But, I'm letting him off the hook this year and he's just going to wear shorts with the top and hat. I've still got 3 more costumes to make and we're leaving in 9 1/2 days, no time to make tights. (Althought I did find this GREAT shiny green spandex at the fabric store

| Great start! And I am so with you - I always plan the Disney trip before we leave the Disney bubble, if I can... it makes leaving so much easier, knowing when you'll be back.

| We've got CP at around 4:45...I think...that's terrible, but I don't have my calendar here at work. Then we'll be looking for Minnie and the new 'not so minnie' additions!!

| Okay I just started this PTR and EVERYONE DOUBLE DIGIT DANCE WITH ME!! ![]() ![]() I can’t believe how quickly this trip snuck up on me. I feel like we just planned it and here it is! And speaking of planning…nice segway right? Hearing how Nala and her pride enjoy it so much was a plus. We are all really excited about staying someplace completely new and trying the new ways into the parks. Also, it can’t hurt to be walking distance from the F&WF can it?? So, with the hotel chosen, I began the long wait to make ADRs. And with it changing to 90 days long became looooong. Now, we could make our ADRs based on the last day of October, but we would not have the November calendar yet. So, with last year’s calendar in hand, I put together the best guess for this year’s November hours and ‘Peter’ and I started mapping out our days. Then 90 days out, I got up at the crack of…me…and got on line. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the on-line booking because part of the magic for me is talking to a CM. But…I got on and got ALL of the ADRs we wanted, on the days we wanted, at the times we wanted…even Le Cellier on the first try!! I was so excited. And, I knew I’d get to talk to a CM later anyway because of the boys allergies. So I got the best of both! So, here are the plans: 10/30: We leave JFK at 3:45 and get into MCO at a 7:06ish. We’ll most likely just explore the new resort and get some CS for dinner that night. 10/31 DHS has EMH morning and we may head over there to get a quick ride on TSMM. Then in the afternoon we’ll don our costumes (assuming I get them done) and head over to MNSSHP. We have and ADR at CP with the other 8 people we will be meeting for this night.11/1 Breakfast at Cape May Café with the characters. Some SAB pool time and then dinner at 50’s primetime and EMH Eve at DHS. 11/2 AK EMH Morn. We should get most of AK done this day. Then maybe some more SAB time and at 4:00 the boys have ressies at the Pirate League. They don’t know and I am SOOO excited for them. Then dinner at 5:30 at LTT and then we hope to come out and find a spot for Spectro. They’ve never seen it and I’d like to make a point of seeing it this trip. 11/3 Epcot has EMH Morn and this will be our first trip on the International Gateway. Not sure how long we’ll stay, but we’ll end up at some point walking through to the monorail and catching it for 5:30 dinner ressies at CM. 11/4 Don’t really have concrete morning plans this day. Maybe some more SAB time or some mini-golf. Then we have late dinner at 7:10 at Coral Reef. The boys chose this one from our last trip. And EMH Eve in Epcot. 11/5 MK has EMH Morning and we also scheduled the Family Magic Tour at 10:00. Another surprise for the boys. After that an open afternoon and then dinner at 6:35 at Le Cellier. I am really looking forward to this dinner. Then some Illumiations. 11/6 We have 10:00 ressies at Ohana which has become a tradition for us. But, my plan is to hit the RD first at MK. We’ve never seen it and I really want to make it this time. Then take the monorail over for breakfast at my beloved Poly. (Sigh) Then we’ve got an early dinner at Yak & Yeti and an EMH at AK. Craig and I got to see it in the dark when we ran the EE 5k last month, so I think the boys will think it’s cool in the dark. 11/7 Our departure day… Oh…and by the way, a few months back when they extended the free dining I called and applied it to our trip. Saved us $855 and all of the wonderful ADRs above will be on the Mouse! Free and Food…2 of my favorite words together! Just some random rambling from now on!
