| The Nightmare Before our (canceled) Christmas Trip-TR Updated 11/17 We are back and wow what a whirlwind of a weekend. It was great as usual and I am already ready to go back. But with out any further ado It's time to play the music It's time to light the lights It's time to get things started on Maria’s TR ***yes I did just do that***  Thursday October 22, 2009 The night before our Disney trip was super stressful. I knocked off of work at 5PM and Ben picked me up. The weather person in Orlando kept letting us know that it was going to be hot as Hades this weekend so I wanted to stop by Old Navy for a pair of shorts…no luck at Old Navy so we were off to Target…nope all the summer stuff was gone and only the fall stuff was out. I think it should be the law in Florida that shorts and bathing suits are sold year round  . I did leave Target with a new pair of sunglasses. I has recently lost my awesome $3.00 pair from forever 21...and this is why I can’t get expensive sunglasses this is at least my 6th pair this year . So we made one more stop at the Avenue and I found a pair of bright orange capris on sale 75% off. Orange is my favorite color but I am not sure if I wanted stretched across my butt…but it looked OK in the dressing room and It was Halloween…SOLD!  Finally at 7:30 PM we were on our way home. The rest of my evening went like this:Eat extreme amount of lasagna Biology Quiz Online Pack.WashClothes.DryClothes.Pack. At 11PM I was completely worn out and passed out with out any Disney jitters…I think I was to exhausted for that. Friday October 23, 2009 I have always had a internal alarm it used to be at 8AM I would pop out of bed and be ready to start my day. My grandmother passed away this month and I seem to have inherited her internal alarm …so no matter how hard I try to sleep in at 6AM (or before) I am up and at em.  So at 6AM I was able to finish packing. I then took upon myself to drag everything down stairs and put it in the car (while Ben slept). I also cleaned the inside of the car …even though we only has a 35 minute trip to WDW I enjoy a clean and febreezed car for my travels. I returned upstairs and watched the weather: HoT! HoT! HoT! Unseasonably Hot! Record Breaking Temperatures! OH WELL…I’m going to Disney World!!!  At 7:30 AM I woke Ben up. He was ready to go by 8AM and we were off. Our first stop was Publix. I ran in and purchased: 2-6 packs of beer (Abita Satsuma and Sam Adams Oct. Fest) 2-bottles of Rioja (Bens favorite and they were buy one get one free) 1-bottle of pink wine (Its to hot for heavy red wine) Tootsie rolls (impulse buy)  Mascara Ben picked me up in the car and we stopped at the Dunkin Donuts in front of the Publix. We both ordered to glazed donuts and a coffee with milk and sugar. Finally we were truly off. I got my I-trip to work and soon it was all about Madonna’s greatest hits in our car. My mom called and we talked about 15 minutes…which did not stop Ben from his Madonna sing along time. “One is such a lonely number” “Just like a prayer” “I made up my mind I’m keeping my baby” Finally my min and I said goodbye and I joined in the fun. There was no traffic on the road and in no time we were driving under the WDW gates.  Next: Express Check-In and Fun in the Hot Hot Sun at EPCOT…oh and pictures!!!

| Continued Friday October 23 We made it to the Coronado Springs Resort and parked right up front. We went through the front doors almost running ...we were so excited to start our vacation . I am always wowed by the beautiful theming of this resort. I decided to try online express check in this trip so off I went with my ID to the desk. The easy to find marked desk.  I loved this mural that continues on behind all of the check-in area  Ben is over in the distant waiting for me to check in.  Love the ceiling and the lights. In less than 10 minutes I had my packet with all my information. Our room wasn’t ready yet…but it was only 9:30 AM.  **Note the orange capris**  **Note that Ben looks like a little boy** We drove over to where our room was going to be Casitas 4 and then we got ourselves organized before heading to catch the bus to EPCOT.   The EPCOT bus showed up in about 10 minutes and soon we were off. The great thing about the CSR is the location …it takes no time to get to EPCOT,Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom. We were dropped off at EPCOT and I went to have our bags searched while Ben skipped on through the guest without bags line (he claims I am better in the bag lines). We made it past the turnstiles and inside. It was about 10AM and we were already feeling the heat. We slipped into Interventions for awhile and played this game called the Storm Maker (I think). It was a three person game. Myself, Ben and a random teenager played against each other…it got pretty heated (sweat on brows) …but in the end the teenager beat us and we sulked out defeated  . We passed by the Sum of All Fears but decided to try it later in the week (never did).We headed over to Test Track. The wait posted 20 minutes but it was pretty much a walk on.   We rode with a older gentleman and his grandson and as usual it was a blast. It seemed to go faster than normal. I still react on Test Track the way I did the first time I rode it. I stopped for a restroom break and I only share this because I love the Odyssey center restroom…the one that is actually inside the Odyssey Center. It amazes me that such a ugly building can hide such a jewel of a restroom.  Off we went to Mexico. None of the booths were open yet because it was only 10:55. We waited for Mexico to open so I could ride the Gran Fiesta Tour…I don’t know why but I love this attraction…Ben doesn’t understand but he rides it with me anyway.   After we took our boat ride through Mexico…     we took some obligatory photos in Mexico…    This hat weighed about 25lbs  and then we had to leave the beautiful, dark, air conditioned country and face the hot streets of the WS. Next up…F&WF Fun and how the sun kicked us in the head
